The Resolution Execution

Why do I make resolutions?
Will I ever change?
Every year a new solution,
yet I am still the same.

I inhale sweet pollution,
a different flavor every year —
but now with retribution
after ball-drop cheer.

My diet is a constitution,
guilty pleasures await.
My body, my institution —
I don’t care the date.

The ritual of absolution
of a commitment I must make
feels like personal destitution,
an action I’d rather fake.

Would you like my allocution?
Well, I have no remorse.
There is no attribution,
because I won’t stay the course.

Here’s a substitution —
my offering to midnight.
My only contribution
is nothing, out of spite.

Premium Member Unscratched Itch

Like uncared unfulfilled wishes creeping to the fore
Irresistible! Impossible, yet? Dilemmatic?
Shy about removing the robe that might reveal the core
Could the cut be covered with the costliest cosmetic?

Disgruntled, like a lion brooding over a lost prey
This itch turns into karma leading to endless rebirth
It becomes the root of my yokes on which I have no say
Expect I dare to scratch till stern stillness surrounds the girth.

Uprooting the weeds, forever, might be the best solution
Could we pluck out the plants because they trouble a little?
Rubbing with a hard surface might be a substitution.
Though commonality amidst these acts is mere brittle

If thirst, physical or spiritual, is timely quenched
The fulfillment of the heart will never be wrenched.

Premium Member Pine Needles

I thought of you alot today
While sitting near the bridge
I wonder, did your ears ring?
Even just a smidge?

Well all I know is if they did
They must have rang alot
You were on my mind so much
More often than were not

I pretended you were with me
Even spoke to you out loud
But then I changed from heart to heart
When sat down a small crowd

I played and people listened
But that meant not too much
Since you're the only one I saw
My mind's eye on you touched

No matter where I am
No matter what I do
When I start to miss you
I just look at my tattoo

It's a poor man's substitution
For a lady rich and fine
But I have to take what I can get
I do so for you pine

Substitution

Eviscerate my being! Distort my face!
Bring me closure to my ego; replace!
Seizure in dark games through which we interlace,
Beckoning the reaper's embrace.

Subvert my empathy!
Break me into colluded ecstasy!
Mold me in your image of apathy!
Put me in a daze of senseful apogee!

If only I could help You experience the same...
If only I could put out what had went aflame...
If only I could rid you of your own self blame...
My ultimate goal- to personify your game..

Knowing I belong on greater stages;
I set out to share a seat among your stations!
As I'm marching alongside your pages,
I'm taunted by the echoes of ages,
mocked by divine wages.

Taxing are the paths to your way.
My will's faltering, hope's grey,
mind's in a state so risqué.

Tell me, is this the price that I must pay?

"Fractious paranoia vying to supplant.
Vying to take over, to ruin your descant.
To kill that which would lay bare, the one which I shan't.
And destroy the altar to which I hum and I chant."

Premium Member There Was a Time

There was a time when I was at my best
I can recall no question about my success,
Now I have reached the stage called rest
The time in life when I’ve earned a recess,
I must admit I am no longer at my peak
My production rate is so much slower,
I find I am without a paddle up the creek
The quality of my work is considerably lower.

Still, I press on to make my contribution
Hoping to make a worthy impression
I believe there is for me no substitution
I’ll continue to labor under this fine illusion,
And someday when this old game is over
I’ll take my earnings in four-leaf clover.

Spring Signifies Life In Some Inconceivable Aspect

Relished thoughts
remain in cheerful hearts
not ridden by storms;
they protect them always
be it pain, or be it joy:
then, can spring signify life
in some inconceivable aspect
and promises excitement
for all and each one,
not walking the extra mile
and trip on stones that annoy?
Ah, avoiding strides accomplishes none!

Do false lovers deceive
and take what's not theirs?
Do their empty promises
bring delusion or allusion...
when hastiness aggrieves
and they think it's transitive
to meditate on a substitution?

Unpleasant thoughts darken the mind,
they spread a veil of opaque certainty
across the eyes that can't see with clarity...
that one needs to achieve something grand
by discerning that spring signifies life in some inconceivable aspect,
who can assert that all seasons are unchangeable and perfect?

Premium Member On Your Wedding Day

Congratulations, Alex love, your wedding day is here,
The time has come to have and hold the one that you call dear,
The love you share between you is both timeless and sincere,
Your future will be full of joy and loved ones far and near,

The treasure of a happy heart is worthy to display,
For love is born by what we do and less by what we say,
The recipe for loving more is giving it away,
The melody is like a song for ending every day.

There may be times when you believe that love is an illusion,
Your journey through the haze of love may leave you in confusion,
But if you serve each other well you may reach this conclusion,
That service is the key to love and hate is the delusion,

True love is found in giving with no thought of I or me,
And measured by your sacrifice and generosity,
The purest form of living is to love unselfishly,
For through the ones we came to love is who we come to be,

Today two hearts will join as one in sacred resolution,
To overcome your challenges with love as your solution,
But what you leave your children is your greatest contribution,
A legacy of love for which there is no substitution.

Woman

Woman woman woman
With your hearts breaking
Tongues wagging
Souls destroying
Adversity
Atrocity
Rampaging sadness
Standing up
Taking names
Surviving it all
Thriving above it all
The ongoing doubt
The - “I can do withouts”
Screaming out - I want to do more!
Confusion
dissolution
Substitution
Love for hate
Forgiveness for acceptance
Weakness for strength
Pain for healing
For we are
Woman woman woman!
(Say it with confidence!)
WOMAN.
Within our own fear
We are one
We are more.

Premium Member Political Pollution

You say you got the perfect solution
You say we need a total bloody revolution
You say no need for any lame constitution
You say death and violence is the resolution
You say you are the better substitution
You say you are for complete redistribution
You say only you can grant absolution
You say your power madness is natural as evolution

But

You beg for money like living in prostitution
Your ways would leave everybody in destitution
You are crazy and full of self-delusion
Your power mad wanting to inflict persecution
You think your smart but babble in convolution
Your lazy and want to rule without any contribution
You would be better seeking to live like Confucian
You are stupid and so is your political pollution

The Only Constant Is Change

Do your ears hear-
tiny movements very near?

Do your eyes see-
every millisecond, a different me?

Do your senses acknowledge-
the spasmodic shifts of energy?

Wavelengths and balance-
universal constant change,
can it be?

Illusions engulfing empty space,
as if everything has only one designated place.

~~

Allusions alluding a mass confusion,
as if insanity has no restitution.

No substitution for the damage these waves cause;
just for a second-
i wish i could pause.

instead i applaud the controller of waves,
controlling this place-
an endless madness beyond time and space.

Encourage Constitution

Encourage Constitution

To me there never is an adequate substitution,
For Constitution that does offer any solution;
Study much;
Stay in touch;
Any other action should be pure monition.

Jim Horn

Suitable Attributions

The insanity of humanity brings forth days of penal retribution,
in reality, the fatality of good deeds deserves a substitution.
All the brutality and profanity provokes nothing but destitution,
while the vitality and good mentality is lost in distribution.
Proper formality and morality should be the greatest contribution,
but the severe volcanity and silly inanity creates an unfit institution.
Sometimes plain mundanity and refined urbanity are a suitable attribution.

Life Is Gamble

It is a gamble

Till you try it that’s when you be acquainted with it

Life is a risk full of opportunities

Its either you dig up or you overlook

You succeed or mislay

You never know Rome till you reach it

For numerous ways leads to it

SO, If the Ace fails take the Joker

It is not a compromise but a substitution

Hence life is a gamble its either you lose or win

But bait for the best, if you loose

Endeavor again next time

Never relinquish

Premium Member Christ's Sacrifice Once For All

Jesus Christ came into this world
a world thinking sacrificial giving was enough
for God to accept their daily offering
but the almighty's holiness rejects their stuff

For Jesus declared when on the earth
sacrifice and offering God did not desire
instead the preparation of a body
that was filled with divine holy fire

In this body God placed His own son
only begotten full of grace and truth
taking on the sin of this world
all our iniquities from our youth

In this Christ we see the father
the one who authored our redemption
paid by Christ's holy perfect sacrifice
for Jesus was our merciful substitution

This sacrifice accomplished once for all
what all the law demands could never do
God then could declare sinners righteous
for His holiness was satisfied perfected anew
