Forgive
She let me down,
Treated me like a clown
I spoke of her in prayer,
Told God, made Him aware
Of all the pain she’d caused
But God never paused…
Chorus:
He said, “Just forgive her”
Forgive her from the heart
Forgive her for it all
Forgive her for what you’ve lost
Forgive her for what it’s cost
She hurt me so bad,
Changed my happy to sad
She destroyed my hope,
Made me feel like I couldn’t cope
She was not my friend
Yet, God said it’s not the end…
Chorus:
He said, “Just forgive her”
Forgive her from the heart
Forgive her for it all
Forgive her for what you’ve lost
Forgive her for what it’s cost
She did the worst I’d seen
She made me feel such shame
And I never was to blame
I thought she was a friend
But how can I understand?
How can I forgive such sin?
But God told me to forgive
Forgive her of every sin
Forgive her of all the pain
Forgive her for everything
Because there is a King
Who forgives everything
Forgive her and believe
You’ve been a vessel for this King
Pour out love, worshipping
It’s forgiveness that will sing…
As we worship the King of Kings
(Verse 1)
This empty room still hums your favorite song,
Sunlight cuts the dust where your laugh belonged.
I trace the cracks in every worn-out tile,
Searching for your shadow one more mile.
(Chorus)
**I can still feel you like a phantom limb—**
A ghost in every room, under my skin.
This house is just a cage of might-have-beens...
*I reach for you, but all I touch is wind.*
(Verse 2)
Your coffee cup’s a fossil on the shelf,
I talk to it like I talk to myself.
That sweater in the closet still holds heat,
Smells of rain and old dreams, bittersweet.
(Chorus)
**I can still feel you like a phantom limb—**
A ghost in every room, under my skin.
This house is just a cage of might-have-beens...
*I reach for you, but all I touch is wind.*
(Bridge)
The neighbors say, *"You should turn the page..."*
But how do I quit a ghost I still stage?
These walls rehearse the echo of your name—
A silent fire only you could tame.
(Outro Chorus)
**I can still feel you like a phantom limb...**
*(Whispered, fading)*
*...All I touch is wind.*
What creature is this that cometh near
His luggage filled to the brim with fear
Crushing our lives, crushing our beliefs
O whence for me shall bring only griefs
What of the men whom now weep?
What of the woman buried alive in their sleep?
What of the children who once stood brave?
Their minds controlled their souls enslaved
The baneful trumpets sound one by one
Can you hear them or are you numb?
Will you fear the creature of doom?
Come undone?
Or shall you overcome?
Overcome, overcome
Filled to the gunwale are the guns
The creature of the swamp now runs
He runs all things and everyone
The children now walk the plank
All hope sank, hopes sank
The baneful trumpets sound one by one
Can you hear them or are you numb?
Will you fear the creature of doom?
Come undone?
Shall you overcome?
Overcome, overcome
Will you fear the creature of doom?
Will you come undone?
Shall you overcome?
Overcome, shall overcome
Finally, it is that time of the year
Lights, eggnog, with all the Christmas cheer
Father was singing noels
Then hearing jingle bells
Mother said, “It’s only the rain, dear”
Opening the nesting doll was an ache
Overturning it and began to shake
Was all full of dirt
Got all over my shirt
It was the urn of grandma, my mistake
Whiskey is gone, theres tap water
Left over candy cane's from last year
Nod the noggin yes foods delicious
Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas!
My brother with happiest grin
Certain he was going to win
2D fighting game
That ended in shame
For his controller wasn’t plugged in
Lost my favorite pair of socks
My others all have holes from rocks
Present near the tree
But was not for me
Then found with a nail by the clocks
Whiskey is gone, there's tap water
Left over candy cane's from last year
Nod the noggin, yes foods delicious
Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas!
I once had me a dark-haired lover,
I was riding high on our romance.
She said she would be mine forever,
so, I decided to take the chance.
Then I found out she was the devil,
just all dressed up in an angel’s clothes.
She taught me the path to happiness,
is where I will never get to go.
I thought I could still tell right from wrong,
how good and bad are supposed to be.
But if I’ve learned one thing in this life,
true love is something I’ll never see.
Each time I try to climb the mountain,
somewhere down the line I always fell.
Instead of going through Heaven’s gates,
I’d end up right back here in this Hell.
I’m walking through this heartless city,
on a cold and windy winter’s morn.
My soul is as hard as this sidewalk.
my heart is tattered, ripped, and torn.
These empty streets on Sunday morning,
when I have no other place to go,
They will make a man feel more alone,
than alone should ever have to know.
I’m not looking for something special,
I’m just trying hard to dodge life’s blow.
When you know you’ll never reach the top,
down in the dumps does not feel too low.
I don’t smoke, snort, or pop any pills,
and don’t drink like a fish anymore.
I don’t go partying all night long,
girl, not like I used to do before.
I don’t need to be that ramblin’ man,
I am a lover not a fighter.
I prefer to play some safer games,
now that I am older and wiser.
But honey if that’s the kind of life,
that you think you really want to see.
Then baby you hang on to your beer,
grab hold of the rail, and just watch me.
I going to show you a few things,
that might make you shake your pretty head.
We’ll go out and paint this whole darn town,
with a double coat of neon red.
If it’s crazy chaos you prefer,
then I can be the man that you need.
Cause my name used to rhyme with trouble,
girl, that’s trouble with a great big T.
I will wine you and then I’ll dine you,
until your eyes can no longer see.
So baby you hang on to your beer,
grab hold of the rail, and just watch me.
I know I'm not a saint
I don't pretend to be one either
I've done wrong in my life
if I could change some things I would
but nonetheless
things happen for a reason
so I let bygones be bygones
and love the ones who care
and pity the ones who don't
I've been wronged by a lot of people
but I brush off the hurt
and sorrow I feel
I've wronged a lot of people
asked God for his forgiveness
life's not always fair
neither are the burdens I bear
I have the passion and desire
to see my life through
to make better choices
I know I'm not a saint
I don't pretend to be one either
Some don’t notice that I’m truly fruity
They’ll often add salt, like that’s their duty
Juicy and ripe to my core
Sweeter than you might ask for
I’m sure to win trophies with my beauty
Over so many years
Sprang so many fears
Creating so many tears
And pain to surpass my peers
Growing an aching burn
For a desire to yearn
Which is overhead
Yet over my grasp, broken once I learn
Captured in my soul, with my mind's eye
Where my dreams dwell, sprouting high
Alluding to a time not unforeseen, hidden in the sky
Fortune favors the brave, don't be shy
The prints from my past mistakes left
Marking their trace, having carved depth
Between the walls of my spirit in my breast
Nestled where my dearest secrets are kept
Eternal echoes haunting my mind
Each step I take, looking for happiness to find
Missing out on now, feeling behind
Driving the force to take on the grind
From this day, never forget my word
A slit in the abyss of forever to be hear
Eh - eh! Hosanna, hallelujah
Praying to the God of Elijah
Oh-oh! All the people on earth,
Praising daily Jehovah Sebaoth.
Eh - eh! Hosanna, hallelujah
Praying to the God of Elijah
Continue to share love and peace,
Oh-oh! Respecting the God of grace.
Eh - eh! Hosanna, hallelujah
Praying to the God of Elijah
My heart is only for you, Lord
Oh! Great warrior and safeguard.
Eh - eh! Hosanna, hallelujah
Praying to the God of Elijah
Playing daily drums with notion,
Singing daily psalms for all nation.

I be talking crazy when I’m off the yoppas.
But she love how I talk crazy off the yoppas.
I didn’t really want her but you know I got her.
Filled her script like I was a doctor.
Keep the tool with me, but, you I got them hitters on me.
Keeps me in the zone. I don’t really wanna hurt nobody.
Aye I up the burner, catch a body, then I take his hottie.
A bad boy. Yea, I’m feeling like I’m mister Lawry.
I got that splash in my swag.
Cleaner than a jag speeding down the freeway about 160 on the dash.
Shorty got that class and she ratchet I’m on her fast.
Ima Slytherin her and I'll put lil mama in a trance.
Something like a snake. I’m so smooth when I hit my dance.
All she did was glance, then her hands Slytherin my pants.
One look at the doc, and she's quick to wanna leave her man.
No explanation you already understand.

A lady who lived in a song
Sang music to make the world strong.
Her lyrics of love
Oozed melodies that tugged
At hearts that could do no wrong.

When you said that you loved me,
though you knew it wasn't true,
had you planned your betrayal,
as a thing you had to do?
Wasn't even your second best,
how could I've been so very blind?
I was rarely on your mind,
(I was rarely on your mind)
I was rarely on your mind.
Maybe I was in the wrong place,
at the lonely, lonely times,
but you never once told me,
you were happy I was yours.
And those things you should have said and done,
guess you just never made the time.
I was rarely on your mind,
(I was rarely on your mind)
I was rarely on your mind.
Tell me,
tell me how you lived with me and lied,
and give me,
give me from your grave the tears I have so cried,
that I so cried.
And those things you should have said and done,
guess you just never made the time.
I was rarely on your mind,
(I was rarely on your mind)
I was rarely on your mind.
I was rarely on your mind.
(I was rarely on your mind)
I was rarely on your mind.
I wanna little boogie-
I wanna little boogie,
A little boogie woogie.
In my woogie boo-
A boogie-woogie just for you,
I know you love boogie woogie too.
I boogie-woogie with you-
In my woogie boo,
I know you love boogie woogie too.
I wanna little boogie-
A little boogie woogie,
In my woogie boo.
A boogie-woogie-
A boogie-woogie,
Boogie-woogie with you.
