1946 United States authorities
chose to exercise freedom of choice
and forcibly relocated 167 Marshall islanders
King Juda he agreed as their voice
from Bikini Atoll east to Rongerik
a small island which adequate resources lacked
with the promise they would return
so much for the U.S. Right of Freedom Act
and with little regard to radiation or fallout
the beautiful coral lagoon's sad fate
was a nuclear weapon testing site
twenty-three tests in all 'til 1958
but scientists miscalculated
a dry-fuel thermonuclear bomb they blew
.
i'm lisp'n
trip'n over mine

slip pip hern

It's a sight to behold
Never does it get old
Sweet memories to behold
Sights, sounds and smells that do not get old
Like a gem onto them I hold
When we first met
Sparks flew from heart to heart.
Mesmerized,
Your mojo
Working overtime
Did you ever work on a building site,
And push and pull with all of your might.
Then walk in mud up to your knee,
And whistle at every girl you see.
Did ever carry a hod on your shoulder,
Then trip over a blooming great boulder.
Watched a crane move a ton in one lift,
Then look over at the great pile of sand they've asked you to shift!
Think I'll design an anti-depression website
Where people can visit when they're down
When their lives aren't zinging along at top speed
And they're continually wearing a frown
Most likely could have used it myself at times
But my Cathie sure helped me get through
As well as all you wonderful people out there
What would I do without you guys too
You brighten my life every single darn day
Can't wait to read the comments you make
They're always positive so extremely upbeat
It's like having a big piece of chocolate cake
Discovered The Soup about ten years ago
What a great find that turned out to be
Each day can't wait to get back to my computer
To connect with my friends again woo-ie
blue jays and woodpeckers
frequent the feeders today
in turn with smaller species
that visit all day all the time
my camera tripod stands on
a window sill with a camera
always ready for adventure
such as this mornings event
of changing a greeting-card
camera-camoflauge picture
on the window to one of birds
on a snowy winter tree branch
four small birds including one
woodpecker flew at the picture
wowza...however be their eyes
the sight must be amaze-zing!
stan sand
You can refer whatever I am
writing to whoever want to.
.once within reason
prices became out of site
money disappeared
only stupid people
will have many stupid thoughts
being stupid things
the vilest person
that has ever existed
became a moron
had been condemning
while constantly complaining
always criticizing
is hostile and mean
a marjorie taylor green
create quite a scene
wretched human being
stories with lies is singing
much trouble bringing
became worse and worse
when he would rehearse a curse
which we did disperse
whole world was his own
lying and cheating had been prone
name is caste in stone
he would have a thirst
for what was worst of the worst
often he had cursed
often he had curst
to hear a full-awe...so far...
means some 'i' saw dust...
rise everywhere...and now...
that full-loss-offer...on the poe...
at the tree 'ease-site'...sounded as...
ed grrrd...'all in'...to poetry store-ease'
stans sand dust
SITE UNSEEN
Starting something viewed
yet to blind to see
It is camouflaged
brightly shining lights
Solar eclipse
goodnight daylight
Hello darkness

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2022
There is a site
just here,
yes, here. Somewhere.
I hover, dangle, hang about,
just here.
You can hold a mouse,
press it just here, or just here,
and you hear a click.
It may even squeak.
A mouse does so, so much.
Such a sight
on this site.
Sometimes it’s light
or often a fright.
But such a sight
on this site.
Oh, such a site!
(February 2022)
I was trying to get in
To this wonderful site,
I had to validate,
I must get it right.
So I entered my password
3 digit code I could see,
Validate I did
They recognised me.
Now that I'm in
What should I do?
There's thousands of poems
That I could read through.
I could post a new poem
For a contest to enter,
Or ask for advice
From a knowledgeable mentor.
Say hello to my friends,
Read the poems that they write.
I'm so glad I joined,
It's a wonderful site.

The ideal casino for playing and winning. My Website
I do not drive a fancy car
Or chew on a Cuban cigar
I do not wear a silk cravat
Or attend the fancy balls
I do not own a designer cat
Or have the funds to gamble
I do not smell of Givenchy
Or even live in the 'burbs
I am nothing so hoidy-toidy
As gentlemen up the street
But I can tell you this, for sure
I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

It is Good Friday, fourteen years ago.
I decide to go to the bottom of our hill and clean up the trash.
some marvelous person dumped three months earlier.
Wild animals have dragged the stuff around; it is a real mess now.
I get it all cleaned up, it takes me eight hours.
The next day somebody has tossed out twenty-tires and three couches.
This is my road people; and it is beautiful when it is natural.
It is the beginning of a trash pile now thanks to unthinking idiots.
This is maddening.
