No Photo's Allowed On This Site?

I went looking for my little black moto when I discovered
I can't post a photo.
Every site says upload here, except this one, it's so weird!

Other Site

other site
there's a non-finite roof above
horizon emaning other light

vaguely gone
in other site hear the miniscules
no need for concern

What a Site

It's a sight to behold
Never does it get old
Sweet memories to behold
Sights, sounds and smells that do not get old
Like a gem onto them I hold

The sticks on the hill
were brushed when they were wet,
Lay with a pattered smoothness,
The bushes 'round which they swept
Bulged their greenly leaves,
Stony stairs on an uphill way
creased a toe of the world.

"Community Site"

There once was a community site
That once was cheery and bright,
But the mayor spied
And about it lied
And now dead, it seems so right.

Premium Member What Oh a Site

When comes the rising of the Sun The joy of darkness returns to That place from which it has once grew Freedom expressed once was depressed Collars and shackles now gone Soon your body will be on the mend Lesson Saturn teaches does tell Life repeated cycles comes pain Love changes the merry go round

Love At First Site

The whistle blows steam,
while the bell rings,
outside the dew is swimming in the,
myst of a oceans spray.

Picture within a square,
hills and mountains,
balenced by beauty,
to grasp my hand.

Inside I stand,
alone in my head,
but voices intrude,
this peaceful picture,
of love.
Happiness
inside our eyes.

Work On a Building Site

Did you ever work on a building site,
And push and pull with all of your might.

Then walk in mud up to your knee,
And whistle at every girl you see.

Did ever carry a hod on your shoulder,
Then trip over a blooming great boulder.

Watched a crane move a ton in one lift,
Then look over at the great pile of sand they've asked you to shift!

Dangling

There is a site
just here,
yes, here. Somewhere.
I hover, dangle, hang about,
just here.
You can hold a mouse,
press it just here, or just here,
and you hear a click.
It may even squeak.
A mouse does so, so much.
Such a sight
on this site.
Sometimes it’s light
or often a fright.
But such a sight
on this site.
Oh, such a site!

(February 2022)

God's Site

The birds take flight as snow turns the ground white,
And flakes so light stick together all night
To form a sight of snow drifts of great height.
Powder just right greets our skis at daylight,
And edges bite in this mountain delight.
"Is this God's site?" and He answered me "Quite!"

Premium Member Seen On a Dating Site

I do not drive a fancy car
Or chew on a Cuban cigar
I do not wear a silk cravat
Or attend the fancy balls
I do not own a designer cat
Or have the funds to gamble
I do not smell of Givenchy
Or even live in the 'burbs
I am nothing so hoidy-toidy
As gentlemen up the street
But I can tell you this, for sure
I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

This Site Is Looked At By the Cops

This site is looked after by the cops
poets are drunk dopers
losers and boozers that never win
the cops are coming after the poets
they are checking names and records
and entering accusing words
while sitting and eating doughnuts
the cops are locking up the poets
drunkards druggies get rid of the dirt
cops are reading your poetry
taking aim at you
and child support
run run run hahaha

Premium Member Gratitude and Honour arises from the poetry soup site

To those who sit, anonymously making choices,
behind the soupy site
My gratitude, feel honoured to be chosen best new poet for two weeks and also POTD,
inspired, so more poems I will write

At age seventy seven, told that I am old, my reply, "if I think that way I will be"
some are taken aback
This honour bestowed upon me, I now know, gotta long way to go,
before I regard myself, as an uninspired hack

Site Sitting

night ends
all shadows

but street
lights begin
creating new

cathedral steps
become my seat

with the sun
now set i sit
looking as

passerbys make
no eye contact

yet i see
the man
selling

water and
the rainbow

dressed women
with fruits of
other colors

selling tastes
of sweetness

and selling to
take a photo
with them

the bell tolls
so i stand

up and stroll
down the
colonial

streets
smiling
