Leaning towards the pride of Hoboken,
I learned to listen with both ears —
And my wandering soul—
Whose cellar harbours old kegs of sweet
Songs that warm the spirits and embolden one
With just one hum of that pleasantly unique voice,
So frank and euphonious
That I crave love.

As I was researching Frank Sinatra for a wedding I’m performing
a lady walked into the bookstore after I opened the other day.
She sat down in our comfy chair…and had quite a lot to say

What made this situation difficult…it was hard for me to see
when she was talking to herself…and when she was talking to me.

I don’t know if I have any more energy for

If the line would flatten 
I could finally rest

If you needed something,

I'm sending a little note,

It was nearly a year ago,
In early December,
When I stumbled upon you.
Your voice and your music,
Your heart and your soul.

On rails he rode with fellow jobless men

The late, great legendary American crooner, Frank Sinatra
  did things "My Way." His signature song was also his mantra

  Such a fine actor he was, too; even won an Academy Award!

No, Frank, he sure didn’t do it your way,
Everything was doubtful - nothing in a sure way.
Wasn’t rich, lived in a poor way,
Drove fast on steep hill roads, not the flat shore way:
