Each Wall In Mall
Each Wall In Mall

We found that each wall,
Existing in shopping mall
Was about to fall.

Seems like my poems vary
between haiku and limericks.

A woman stopped me
In the shopping mall
She said" How is Neil?"
I said "I do not know a Neil"
"Oh, I am sorry I thought
you were my cousin Jean"

"You look like her"....

parked my car in the shopping mall lot

A huge audience is what I sought

        stripped down to the buff
looking like I had the right stuff

all I heard were five hot chic's yelling " NOT"

In England Trump Did Appall

Trump had ended up in a big brawl,
From NATO there will be withdrawal;
Always  worry;
In a big hurry;
His mind was lost in a shopping mall.

Before the Fall
We hold our breath before the fall
And hope we don't become unwell
No gel left in the shopping mall
We hold our breath. Before the fall
Did Adam ever wash at all?
Is England lost for want of gel?
We hold our breath before the fall
And hope we don't become unwell

Premium Member Santa's Lap and Photos
At the shopping mall
A long line up waits
Children excited
To chat with Santa
As they wait their turns
They day dream of toys
Underneath the tree
Coming Christmas Day
Each child has a photo
Taken with Santa Claus
A picture to treasure
For many years to come
With their memories
Of that special day...

Plus-Sized Woman
There's a plus-sized woman I totally adore. She works at a large sized women's clothing store. This doll is a bit hefty, but I don't care. I will feel like I'm making love to a big teddy bear. In whatever I want in a woman, she's got it all. I look for her each time I go to the shopping mall.

Have yourself a taste of
19
If you're in the mood to fall . . .

If you're big or you're tall
If you're short or you're small
Well it really doesn't matter at all
When 19 is the one who comes to call
Ba da da da da da da da

You'll catch it at your local

Da da da da da da da da

Bust Run
I am not easily embarrassed
But one day I was being harassed,
for breast feeding my child on the bus.
The ignoramus caused such a fuss.
I flustered and jumped off in a huff.

On entering a shopping mall,
I noticed the shoppers stall,
while passing myself and baby Paul.
On glancing down I found
a breast, pointing at the ground.

Oops!

Premium Member Warning
The other day I was in the shopping mall,
just like humpty dumpty I had a great fall.

I had to go real bad,I ran past the sign,
I hurt like hell and I just sat and whined

All because I didn't read that darn sign:

CAUTION WET FLOOR

Thank goodness I don't have to pay a fine.
(Tell that to my aching bones).

Premium Member Spilled Coffee
At the shopping mall
Coffee in my hand
Along with a scorn
I choose a table
To enjoy my treat

A loud noise s
is heard
It had startled me
Coffee in my hand
Then landed on me
From my top to slack

A horrible mess
Tried to clean it up
Did the best i could
Stains did not wash off

So spent the whole noon
Shopping in stained clothes
Till i found a new top
Replaced to wear...

Embalming the Conscience
Embalming the Conscience

Embalming the conscience,
of a world catatonic with apathy.

Apathy worn on sleeves,
with shimmering cuff-links of brazen indifference.

Shopping, mall-hopping, acquiring.
Squinting at designer tags.

Ah! But the party never ends,
as we giggle and flirt and drink and screw.

While corpses burn,
nailed to the cross.

And while the others scavenge,
for scraps in the dirt....

Parked At the Mall
Busy shopping mall parking lots
Car doors opening and closing
Words flashing on digital billboards
A screech, a honk, some belligerent
Cursing bastard, a car alarm blaring
The noisy comings and goings
Of folks numb to the chaos
Rows upon rows of pollutants
Oil-stained pavement
Loose change on the dashboard
Keys left in the ignition
The engine still idling
Me, in the driver’s seat pondering it all...

Premium Member The Girl That Bought the Sandals
The girl that bought sandals
To walk up the country road
Realized her feet were sore
She had a decision to buy
Comfortable shoes for walking

She decided to search for shoes
At the shopping mall
Walking from one shoe store
to another
In order to ponder what she wanted
She wanted to search for styles

Determined to buy shoes
That were comfortable
She came across a brand
Skehers a shoe for walking
Tried them on purchased them...

Premium Member Christmas Mouse Wants To Be An Ornament
I want to be an ornament when I grow up the mouse said.
Did he want to be on the side of green or red?
Holly voted for green Santa wanted him on his team.
The relatives laughed; grandma said that would be a pipe dream.

What if I just hung out in the tree and did not take sides at all?
He hung out happily in a Christmas tree shopping mall.
The youngster was wise, the oldsters in the family said.
For not choosing green and not choosing red....

Types of Partner: a Funny Touch
Heart-full love
and beautiful queen,
It's difficult to get
both in one.

Sacred love
and spiritual partner,
If you don't like,
convince your mother.

Naughty love
and dirty lady,
Before selecting
ask your daddy.

Casual love
and stylish mate,
Always needs
handsome pocket.

Time pass love
and fancy girl,
Sufficiently available
in shopping mall.

Boring love
and tedious wife,
It's equivalent to
a blunt knife.

Premium Member Loss of Habitat
I watch the swaying brown tipped rushes
Against my cheek the gentle wind brushes
On quiet blue a dragonfly dips its feet
Landing where the sun and water meet
Blackbirds flash a wing of ruby red
Busy keeping a nest of fledglings fed
Bullfrogs with throaty voices call
Declaring their presence to one and all
Faint sound of traffic accosts my ears
As twilight descends and darkness nears
Saddened by the coming months of fall
This habitat destined to be a shopping mall.........

Deaths Door
It's a shopping mall fire-door
that we think is a short-cut.
A side escape
we have passed a thousand times
becomes a threshold.

Persons can abruptly disappear,
then the Universe
has to put them together again
from the smithereens of minor errors.

In our hearts we see our end
as an empty shopping cart
in a store on fire,
but no.

The chipmunk in the backyard
runs this way and that
but the hawk in a nearby tree
knows that this day
is just another exit....

Death
It's a shopping mall exit,
that we think is a short-cut.
A side-door
we have passed a thousand times

has to put them together again
from the smithereens of minor sins.

In our heart of hearts
we see our end

The chipmunk in the backyard
runs this way and that,
but the hawk in a nearby tree
knows that this day
is in fact
its last door....

Premium Member Truth In Advertising
Big sale. Buy Two get one free
I race across the mall aisle and stare at an empty shelf
What had they been selling? I glance around for clues.
They sell phone covers, socks, and bras, so I wonder…was it
Valentines Day phone covers, Santa Socks, 4th of July bras?
“Hey,” I demand from an employee. “What was on this shelf?”
He looks, and thinks. “I don’t remember,” He says,
“But you would be surprised how many people come over to see.”
So much for truth in advertising....
