If You Can'T Be
If you can't be a pine at the top of a hill,
Be a scrub,a little scrub by the side of the rill.
Be a bush if you can't be a tree.
If you can't be a bush,be a bit of the grass,
And some highway happier make,
If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass....

The Oddity of the Truth
The oddity of the truth
To shift through information
And false intelligence
Delivered by men in suits
Paid lackeys reading from a cue
Semitic voices
Feeding the air way
With hatred
Compliant press repeat the untruth
Rill, we believe
Wax lilies in the pond is real...

My Three Wishes
My Three Wishes

I
do not
wish for fame,
for the world to
know me by my name.
A mansion on a hill
with acres green, by a rill,
and sweeping views down to the sea
would be to squander my wishes three
I’d rather a wealth, of peace, joy and health.

Just One Touch
Just one touch
unknowingly -
the imprints of silent love -
the fragrance of fingers-
myriads of self kisses
on the same spot
in secrecy
of the bedroom later.
As a pebble dropped in a rill,
a thousand romantic ripples....

Water Song

deep in thought
I seem to be
yet water song
it calls to me
across the hills
into the glens
and down the forest
toward a bend where
aged oak and beech
do blend into a wood
both deep and fair
the water sings its magic
there inside my head
it echoes still from pretty
pool to dancing rill....

We felt the joy of the soft mellow breeze, sighing down the hill,
As we lay sprawled beneath a cedar that grew beside a rill.
Shrubs abounded, meadows covered with splashes of daffodil.
One day we'll be wed there where divine nature displayed goodwill.
Bells tolled from our chapel anticipating us with a thrill.

stillness pervaded
the ancient paper home
not even the rill that
dutifully crossed the small
garden dared to break the
meditative silence.
a controlled swish
of heavy white paper
whispered through the
open doors and rested
on the water lilies
folded like his paper creatures
the aged man sat unmoving
except for his waltzing fingers....

Notes
Bastardizations of a good night;
Sullen moonlight pours recklessly through blinds,
Sickened stomach turns,
Eyes rill and flutter egg-white visions.

Shuffle:
I am a joint rolled from Bible paper,
A blood blister in a hemopheliacs mouth.
Deal:
You are an inkstain of poetical nonsense,
A burst pipe running lengthwise through brain matter:

The entire ****ing world....

Premium Member The Night Was Over
After a rainy night,
The sun rose shining bright.
Tree leaves coruscated,
And luxuriant turf covered the vale.

How sweet the grass so full of dew.
Birds left their nooks,
Twittering around the skies

How dazzling the vale
Reflecting a glorious sight.
A small rill tumbled down
The rugged hill tumbling over smooth pebbles.

Mossy growths sparkled
With ferns and silverweed now sprouted new....

Yesterday's Music
Yesterday’s Music

The music of a burbling rill
Close by a dry stone wall,
And on the air, so calm and still
A blackbird's fluting call

Green finches in the rowan tree
Join in the meadow’s song,
And big fat yellow bumble bees
Hum merrily along

The flutter of a butterfly
The flip of trout at play
The rustle of a mouse nearby
The sounds of yesterday...

Let's drift along paths of old heather,
See today is beautiful weather.
The lightest mist of dew still wet leaves
Lying in fields in tightly bound sheaves.
Meandering along citrus trees
Sweet blossoms announce a bumper crop
And fragrance grow up slopes to the top.
A rill flows downhill forming a pool,
We go into the water so cool,
Let the sun shine in mid-summer heat
Then we'll drink out our beer as a treat....

R-eality and fantasy deliciously intertwine, with
O-pulent stars and pearlescent moonlight,
M-ystical pheromone tango and waltz,
A-ncestral hearkening to the lyrical
N-ewness of love. Warmth of rapturous embrace,
T-rill of songbird heartbeat - pulses flutter in
I-dyllic skies of amorous twilight, utterly
C-harmed by a pink tie and a blue rose in stiletto heels.

Tears
Tears of bliss
dilate one's heart
it's brief and instant
make hopes boundless

Tears of shame
cleanse one's sense
giving another chance
not to do the same

Tears of anger
aches with heat
never constant
it fades fast

Tears of sadness
a dense flow of spring
console one to bring
again endurance

Why tears of LOVE
chase one's soul
give unending rill
cold like dew?

Dam
Spend some time alone in introspection
Weigh yourself against the status quo
Suddenly you’ll realize on reflection
Every body’s going with the flow
To stand alone while others hurry faster
Requires a steady lean against the rush
And like a rock within a stream of falling
The shelter you provide will be a rill
A place for life to feed and spawn or rest
A haven for the sands of time to fill
Mayhap a seed will tree to hold a nest...

Whispers of the Past
On some misty morning when the ground is wet and still
When clouds obscure the forest and creeks flow the rill
Go sacredly and slowly and you will surely hear
Whispers of the past from the ghosts of yesteryear

They talk of things that happened long before your birth
and soon they'll disappear when the mist falls to earth
You'll know that they are near by the rustle on the grounds
Watch in silent wonderment as the ghosts go on their rounds...

Bird In a Cage
an endless store of millet seed
far more than you could ever need

with water pure as any rill
yours to bathe or drink at will

for companionship,a looking glass
to ease the lonely hours that pass

you now have all there is to give
this gilded nest in which you live

yes,my feathered friend 'tis true
all of this is all for you
and all you ever have to do...is sing!

and may your heart be seldom sad
apart from things you never had
for it never was your destiny...to fly...

Her Laughter Is All Seasons
Her laughter is all seasons:

It is the April rain that trickles like a fugue
Down the twisted branches of the laburnum.

It is the sparkling rill that rushes gaily
From the first bite of a summer strawberry.

It is the incense mist that dances volute
Through the golden leaf of the temple forest.

It is the sleepy smoke that rises softly
From the predawn embers of a winter hearth.

How long the years have passed since last I heard her laugh!

Wise Gig
If you fortune a tangent,
You’ll get a stash,
A rill of crescents pageant,
Old and holding the gash.

Perception not able,
The dynamo dies in the land,
Normal cable to stable,
The bearings of negates and hand.

Piercings whisper through the ears,
Wheat quakes to sliver rum,
Dermis exhalted the overdraft years,
The pollination riffed the drum.

Chrysanthemum sung to oak,
To know the structure is of the silk,
Bacchus architectured folk,
When muscle, mind ruptured n’ did silt....

Ghosts In the Rill
The level of the stinky dirty water
Of the rill running near my house
Not falling this year.

In this dry season,
Water not falling from the taps,
While the rivers became lean.

Its course somewhere encroached,
Protests not heard, non willing to stop
Earth filled and fenced .

And in the dirty rill
Its water level rather rising
I see the ghosts of many death people.

More they will haunt when rain comes.
Then the soothing sound of the rain
Will be terrifying to our minds....

Picnic In the Heights
After the slow sluggish winters,
It’s spring— breezy and bracing,
It’s sun— fervent and fair;
Oh! The bored hearts wish to fly, of the calm clean roads
And, picnic in the heights...
 On the auburn pastures
underneath the white clouds between the trees of fir
With the wild crows ere the frozen falls
By the gushing evaporating springs by the rushing snowy rill
Near the drizzling glaciers;
And, prepare a light-tea,
Have together—stopping, reclined, behind the giant rocks, face to face—taciturn!...
