Striving For Happiness

We felt the joy of the soft mellow breeze, sighing down the hill, As we lay sprawled beneath a cedar that grew beside a rill. Shrubs abounded, meadows covered with splashes of daffodil. One day we'll be wed there where divine nature displayed goodwill. Bells tolled from our chapel anticipating us with a thrill.
