My Three Wishes
My Three Wishes
I
do not
wish for fame,
for the world to
know me by my name.
A mansion on a hill
with acres green, by a rill,
and sweeping views down to the sea
would be to squander my wishes three
I’d rather a wealth, of peace, joy and health.
