Delving down deep into the inkwell of our cavernous hearts

A cascade of colors crisply careen out creating a crescendo

To fill the blank canvas awaiting us all on the easel of life...

Madness Is a Window
Madness is a window
Tasting light and fear (THE OUTSIDE)

Scattered seeds
Plastic sacks sowing
Fluoride in your brain...(A)

Stares of a one-note aria
Careen careen careen

Rambling Thoughts In Panic Mode
Rambling thoughts in panic mode
careen inside my head.
Fear of failure,
criticism,
deathly stares,
and pangs of guilt.

Take a breath.
Close your eyes.
Let serenity surround
with calming words
like chamomile
the mind relaxes now....

Creative Wriing Workshop
We revel in our deceptions,
Careen in the mallowness
Of the majolica
That is our life.

There are no truths—
Only deals.

The sky this evening
Seems surreal.

This is art.

We are critics
Of the coffee cup,
Knowing what we like.

Those who do,
Will....

The Reserve
A passionate embrace of last reserve
Steel tracks taking their twisted curves
Harrowing frights dark of hue
Speed demons singing the blues
Over and over they are off the rail
Careen the cliff and off she sails
Top notch is their deadly reserve
Drops of pain the only preserves
Let the games begin...

Mystical Maniacal Monologue
cryptic calls careen off canyon walls
a study in subtlety seemingly sold
for half an hours hatred and hostility
no need for nonchalant nobility
holding doors for wholesale whores
what a world of want and waste
wasting and wanting what we will
desolate dreams deemed delightful for the damned
and i am left to wonder
what have i done to deserve this?...

The moon slowly ascends like a regal Queen while skittish shadows all flee the scene and scarlet skies bleed last light as nippy winds bite tethered to night drops of dew soon start to alight thirsty mosquitoes take flight and where beauty and silence careen the moon slowly ascends like a regal Queen. Charlie's Cartoon Characters Curiously Careen and Crusade
We work on the Funny Farm
Charlie And I
Different Cartoon Characters everyday
Heckle and Jeckle, Droopy, Captain Caveman
Careening through the day like Homer Simpson
Curiously, where is he?
Oh, he’s around somewhere
Crusading for a better day
Because when all is said and done
We all deserve a Duff Beer at the end of the day...

Just Wait
The cars past by my door where do they go
Never stopping to say hello

People walking by staring at their screen
Like ants on a hill into they careen

Where are you going in such a hurry
Like calf’s to the utter is search of curry

What ever it is your desire
Your hast into the burning fire

Just sit and wait its just around the bend
It was there for you long before the end...

Premium Member Backflips
Lately, in my dreams
I'm doing backflips
On trampolines
Vaulting higher than high
Bouncing off
The springy sky
Free from gravity
Of worry
As the ground
Falls off my feet

I careen
To the beat
Of tambourines
Tail lashing
Lavender flashing
Pom-pom sized
Orange eyes
I'm as free
As I want to be
Lately, in my dreams.

From the Ash Tree
Falling leaves of the ash tree
Burned to the ground
Behind you see
The embers found

Wind flows without directional need
Branches fallen lain to fritter
Spreading remains of the withered seed
Yore the scorch the earth un wither

Sprouting stem from far you flew
Careen a trail of destination
Giving birth to hope anew
Tree’s first breath of transpiration

Coppice recapitulate
Life perpetuate...

Premium Member Black Spot Pluck
My friend,out of desperation
I need to stick my fingers
deep inside your heart
and pluck out that big black spot
Everyone would be much better off...
You could finally earn that medal
put your humanity on the podium
a halo of gold around your soul
but you won't let anyone get close enough...
so, the black spot grows thistle- cold
cleaves the willow from your being
'till you careen off the soft edge of your
dreams......

Premium Member Tongue Tied By Spring's Splendid Scene
Sultry scents saturate spring's splendid scene,
forsythia mists, flavored freshness careen.
Lover's lilac blooms boom youthful as green.
Lattice lace drapery veils Anne the Queen.
Hyacinth's honey sweetness sifts so serene.
Sky's cyan ceiling is swept and polished clean.
Wire fence winding ivy privacy screen
opens to garden secrets once unseen.
Expansive as a planted magic bean,
grandiose garden greenery grows to glean.

Catharsis
a mystic poetess in her thought patterns
of iambic heartbeats, makes new rhythms
with a symphony...joy and pain in cadence.

in her confetti of stars moonbeams cadence
caressing love in ivory and ebony patterns
perforated feelings careen melodic rhythms

in her sonnets, words entice in rhythms
lovebird's lyrics drift in endless cadence
cratered lands embellish crystallic patterns

Catharsis traces passionate patterns of rhythms in cadence....

A Smudge of Heaven
A father looks down on his newborn child
a mirror of his image, concealing
a secret smile hiding among the stars
both seemingly absorbed
in metaphysical musings
taking time to enjoy
life's precious small pleasures.

How the heart can careen in his chest
to gaze into her eyes casting beauty like a spell
or a glow of starlight behind thin cloud
here is something spiritual that pierces the veil
into a world beyond this one- a smudge of heaven
for even a tiny fleeting second....

Premium Member The Irish Love a Bit of Craic On Saint Patrick's Day
Cian careen into Quigley's Pub
for a little Irish whiskey and sub
before long dancing
an Irish jig romancing
the wee fawning lassies lap club

lassies hooting and flapping being bold
with blarney about his pot of gold
money he was countin
while lassies were mountin
full of craic, pole dancing, and few handholds

much Irish brew a sot Cian became
I'm takin my money you can't blame
when he got to his lair
pot did he held bare
shame he did claim but himself to blame
