Satiates Poems

Life

Life doesn't belong to any of us
It passes by,
unfathomable
It flows through our fingertips
Encapsulates us, satiates our spirits
Graces us with swollen ankles
And delicate skin prone to wrinkles

My inspiration

Positive mindset satiates my hunger,
In dark clouds, it finds silver linings to see.
It carves out success, not as a warmonger,
And its bravery swirls like tides in the sea.

Walking its paths fuels daily ambition,
With it, no time again will my self-trust fade.
No setback can stir the winds of submission;
My will makes failure retreat, deep in dismay.

Struggles create success of long duration,
That spark is a flame that I hold to chest dear.
Lasting success will demand dedication,
I pray that God's favour will keep my path clear.

Their gatherings draw me, my footsteps align,
For there, their uplifting voices rend the air.
Their kindness and courage in harmony shine,
Building new bonds through the wisdom they all share.

The hope in their lives remains my guiding light,
Proof that all dreams can be within easy reach.
It isn’t just how long one groans through the night,
But how one learns from the lessons life can teach.

Symbolizes long life,
Specialty of each wife;
Sauce--so meaty to drool,
Satiates and makes us full!
So flavorful in sight,
Super Christmas delight,
Sumptuous meal’s highlight.

Premium MemberLandscape of Spring

Let’s go frolic on the landscape of spring
And relish jubilant nature’s beauty
That satiates our glorious wondering.

Exuding brightness from its paths that bring
Showers of bliss in limitless bounty
Let’s go frolic on the landscape of spring.

Bellowing songs of insects and birds ring
Thanking God’s love and graces aplenty
While flower-trees raise their hands, adoring.

Dragonflies and bees swirl around like string
As we twirl, butterflies play…so pretty!
Let’s all frolic on the landscape of spring.

Floral vines boast on high walls, all flaring
And balmy breeze drops petals-confetti
Catch them under the sunray’s offering.

View from the hill the clear lake’s mirroring
The rainbow colors with large quantity
Let’s all frolic on the landscape of spring
That satiates our glorious wondering.

Premium MemberTo a Great Mom

We feel that we know you completely
But all we know is a little only.

We speak about our achievements in a pompous way
And often forget to notice the silent performer in you.

You never feel bad for being the outlet of our anger.
But you are the one who satiates everyone’s hunger.

Your grandchildren may consider you as an old granny.
But they’ll stun when come to know your accomplishments.

If we glide into the previous pages,
We can find how you...

Nourished as a mother!
Preached as a teacher!
Supported as a life-partner!
Harmonized as a coordinator!
Resolved as a chief advisor!

Your thoughts as innocent smiles of rich hued blooms
And actions with the glory of unseen suffused scent

You are the real all-rounder
And you are the best Giver!

Premium MemberI Believe In God

I do believe that God made all things right.
Let us rejoice for all is bright since God
In kindness made this world in harmony.

For look, is not the sea so full of food?
What would we do without sardines and whales?
And aren't our fields so full of corn and wheat?

Do not the trees grow fruit that satiates?
Could we stop eating apples all the time?
Our orchards are so full of tasty fare.

The forest praises, it purifies our air.
Thank God for palms, and oaks and stately spruce,
Bushy hazels and the silver birches,
The Lord created for our pleasure trees.

I know God's great creation were the birds.
I love so much to see them fly so high.
I am delighted by their melodies
and so admire their elegance in flight.

God, bless the wind in all its many forms
They clear the clouds and pollinate the trees.
Such forces God did not create in vain?

So full of joy, rejoice and bless the Lord.
It is a must to take good care. Praise God.

Cold Wounds That Burn and Illuminate the Path

Gathering around the blues of life,
Grey clouds signifying defeat and strife.
Thunder and lightning, synonymous with the struggle long.
Fire within burning like the determination strong.

Cold rain pouring on the wounds that burn,
Soothing within, yet kindling the fire, the fire to learn.
The lessons of life and scars of fights,
Bearing witness to your strength.
Evolving, building up and retaining your trait clement.

As the rain satiates the thirst of the Earth,
The penchant for learning quenches my yearning for growth.
The rain of wisdom blooming in my soul.
Taking me towards the light from the dark black hole.

Shuga

I have developed a craving for thy brown delicacy
For she satiates my hearts deepest desires
She smells like daisies
And has a smile the keyboard portrays after typing good news
She deserves a cathedral in honour of her beauty
Or perhaps an ode
Cause she sounds like the lady I described in one of my poems.

Premium MemberThe Feeling of Feeling

In my rose garden I can smell the spring coming,
listen the sound of music the whistling zephyr brings,
I taste the dew on the unfurled petals so divine,
the smoothness of silk in their velvet touch I feel.

The pristine smell of rain-soaked soil soars in the air,
the dripping leaves vibrate with the sound of raindrops,
the taste of purity I get pouring from the melted clouds,
their soothing touch satiates my parched throat.

I smell on you the enticing scent of a blooming woman,
sound of rustling foliage echoes in your rhythmic footsteps,
when you are on my arms, I taste sweet desire on your lips.
For my winter the warm touch of your love I shall keep.

Premium MemberThe Horsehead

Of all existence, revered nebulae,
Thus through this sonnet, a proposed tribute,
From whence first seen, served to personify,
Confirmed heart resigned being absolute.

Once star, a major presence to being,
Alone dependent worlds, ingratiates,
Presently, a vast expanse as best seen,
A belt of towering steed, satiates.

Our cramped frame, paired to your fantastic realm,
Proportionately, grandeur to compare,
Leans on the unthinkable to fathom,
A just aim be a journey set to wear.

Sojourners souls lead to air a last flight,
In a pink pasture, horse waits for its knight.

CHERRY RED GLOW, WATCH WITH NO CHAIN

The beast, thus charred, bleeds red, from pit, alarmed.
He checks the time, and time again.
He set it once, a long… long time ago.
All fettered to eternity – disarmed.

He satiates his appetite with coal.
Chews up each act of cherry red.
Each piece a face, endless disgrace.
The burning embers burn, so slow…his soul.

Holy Pudding

HOLY PUDDING
Creamy pale flour toasting slowly in clear butter
Rhythmic strokes glaze it glistening ochre brown
Suffusing sanctum with spiritual fervour
Wafts of rich aroma languidly mount

Bursting sweetness from gold tinged grains
Blessed offering satiates pious souls
Amidst dulcet chants of sonorous refrain
Resonating a trail of endless echoes

Arrives the spring
Anacreontic verse 3

Allure of raindrops
as drizzle knocks,
April arrives ...
Ecstatic Spring
ushers joy,
Buds bloom
petals unfold,
Vibrant colours
eyes behold,
Mustard in yellow
wheat gives gold,

Fragrant breeze
to lovers' delight,
Heavenly azure
and soaring flight,
Reigning blue
echoes into sea,

Festivals lure
delicacies to relish,
Step into May
with blushing
Red roses,
Luscious Mangoes
enticing delish,
Basking days
evenings coldish,
Verve satiates
soul's every wish!

Essence of You

essence pure of all you are
luminous as angel stars

clearly tracked your soul flight
vast pensive universe delights

soul fragrance unlocked, opened
this heart fast closed, broken

breathing you in draughts refreshing
love's rich, soft web enmeshing

two into one; sweet perfume
satiates sense in your soul room
