Back when we thought forever felt so right.

I start the day with a simple hello

My heart screams silently in pain,
Dry tears still drown my fragile soul,
My grief is small yet vast as rain,
My cheeks stay parched though hot tears roll.

My throat cries out in voiceless will,
I’m crushed by love too dark to care,
Your gentle hand was made to kill—
You broke

what if

what if,
we could fly
to any
destination,
and places
making us
feel safe,
I feel
God
made
a mistake
of not
granting
us wings.


I broke the vases,
vulnerable
and worth more
than
my own life.
I love you more
than you ever did,
but I won't say me,
It wasn't that easy.......
I know you adored
of the many times...
you loved me so easily
before the shattering
of the unpredictability
of this end game,
Between the swollen
of my little cheeks,
you hugged

Flowers grow again

All around my house,
All around my heart,
Flowers grow again

Don’t know how to start 
Letters with no end
That I wrote from heart

Words seem posh and dull,
But I try once more -
Under cries of gulls

The Letter

It started with finding the letter.
Sifting through the trunk in the attic.
Smelling of sweet rose water.
Faded yellow with time.
The paper folded and worn.

Despite the violence surrounding you,
The demons you say haunt your dreams,
Being in constant fear of what you have done and seen,
I understand how you would feel like you are crazy sometimes.

Last night in bed as I restlessly tried to sleep 
Every memory of you began playing in my head 
The good ones when we would smile and laugh
