My bars the words, the prison guard my verse,
Rattling the staves of this poetic cell,
I struggle vainly, locked up in this jail.
Yea, thus is my predicament, my curse.

Oh, how jealously, you smirking blank verse,
I look upon what freedom guides your quill;
For formal phrasing does of me compel
Stubborn structures—the styles which I rehearse.

But, boldy bumbling, art is now arising!
Walls becoming my score, and tallies tones, ?Confined to meter, bound by rigid rhyme,
I yet find measures full of surprising
Motifs. The modern poet at sonnets groans,
But I, I do believe they’re quite sublime.

Diary of a Hot-Blooded Woman

Society sure has a lot to say
on how middle-aged women should behave.
Who dares to sanction that fire still alive inside?
In this her fiftieth year, she curses her sex-drive.
For she has prayed for years for someone to love,
Imposed voluntary abstinence to honour the Man above.
Perhaps, she shall marry at sixty-five
Until then, the fight continues for she must thrive.
So on behalf of all hot-blooded women, she scribes.

First boost given by childhood privilege
Level defined by class, income
Indicate potential, an esteemed image
Gains permit exclusive decorum
Height obtained owes society's support
Top promotion opens rosy resort

Tariff emphasis applies gradual gravity
Wherewithal relies on deals won
Obligated to uphold palpable authority

Freedom creeps halting, a lizard
Lured from dimness, limbs doused in sun
Impulse to replenish is permission
Granted by spider vagabond home spun
Hung in a piano accordion alter
Tumult affords torn threads a small falter

Takeoff administered via mishap
Waiver sails on wind universe determines
Oracle unfolds glory, God's map

Restriction

Restriction, restriction
The world is getting mad, and the police patrol cruises the street
if you are caught without a mask heavy fine awaits.
I see some schools are open, but some are not, there has been an outbreak
of the pest in some of them.
Happy days for parents whose children are at school it is good
to be rid of the little blighters for a few hours.
In Norway, you can go to any restaurant or pub
but you can´t by alcohol- mine is 7up, cola for my friend-
Only in Norway can they do this.
But we have been here before when the Christian- party ruled.
When a left-leaning party came to power, the beer taps were opened,
but you had to eat a sandwich first.
And since no one was eating the bread the same sandwich went in and out of the kitchen
a hundred times; and when someone took a bite out of one,
it was usually full of burnt-out matchsticks.
Cest la vie!!!

Dream Restriction

I had a lovely dream
milkshakes and ice-cream
lying on a a beach
sipping on soda stream

alas... to my dispare
it became a nightmare
chased up from my deck chair
and told I was'nt welcome there

thats when I saw the sign
WHITES ONLY is what it read
I thought the beach was mine
given like daily bread!

I woke up from my sleep
thoughts racing in a maze
is this what was endured
way back in the days....

Freedom of Restriction

Deflected, crushed by the social retardation,
Not loved, ‘cos he’s altogether unaccepting,
Active learning the robot’s mouth action,
So he can't contextualise, there’s no blessing.

Neither me nor him meet and we sweep by,
There’s no connection from his ANDs and ORs,
Only citadels to weather the reactive cry,
When my nouns are pocketed by many cursors.

Where’s the memory bank and why the chat?
The bus is long gone and I'm open, vulnerable,
There’s no room for social construction’s mat,
To yield identity’s dynamic, recursive turntable.

Yes, microchips and logic gates shouldn't enable,
Machine learning at the cost of root foundations;
Your group, community, your niche and fable,
Ignite the necessary conversation of care situations.

Ok, so can we build a robot? A care robot?
Indeed care assistance is definitely reducible,
To only a small number of abstractions, clot,
‘Cos love does not evade the comprehensible.

Doors class as access, also pavements, steps,
Only three types of garments, two of people,
Friend or foe, but a cloud for certain parapets,
And who’s boss is said before, it's programmable.

The Word

I was born in Utah
Not in a state of Sin
but preachers were insistent
Sin was the State I'm in

I lay down exhausted
From hearing what they said
And I thank God Almighty
They can rest assured I'm dead

I know that they will follow me
(After a little more sin)
But Jesus has informed me
Saint Peter won't let them in

Up here the wind is silent
As is the Prince of Peace
And now at last I hear "The Word"
May wonders never cease!
