Renovate Poems

Premium MemberThe Chateau

All of those rooms I still dream of
install a flame right under me.
Crawl if needed run when you can,
ball like a boss fight eagerly.

Renovate an outdated thought,
fate snuffed it out so long ago.
Elevate to match new enterprise,
create ‘A list’ I’m the chateau.

Premium MemberLove of My Life

You are the true love of my life
I am so blessed to be your wife
Our love story is true
And started the day I met you

Marriage is not always pure bliss
But ours started after the first kiss
We were inseparable from day one
When our journey had just begun

We share many common likes and desires
But also, many differences still transpire
You’re a night owl and I prefer to get up early
And you sleep soundly, and I sleep poorly

We love to take long drives and try to find treasures
In antiquing, nature or enjoying culinary pleasures
I like to walk and exercise most every day
While you continue to avoid it in every way

I like things to be neat and in order
While you’re a pack rat and a slight hoarder
I like to read, write poems and create
While you like to fix, build and renovate

You like Harry Potter and I like anything mystery
I like current stories, and you prefer history
We both enjoy the local news and Netflix series
And enjoy haunted stories and with all the queries

I knew I found in you my soulmate and best friend
And blessed to have you in my life until the very end

Gap

Loud hollow shell
Glorious silent vacuum
Quiet echo bell

Invoke impartial gloom
Atomic detonation bomb
Renovate the tomb

Appease the qualm
Placate to quell
After noise, calm

Like a Phoenix I Rise

Like A Phoenix I Rise
By lady Arabella

Like a Phoenix in the ashes I rise above
With a heart full of kindness and love
Reborn from the pieces left  broken
From the words that were  left unspoken
But like a Phoenix I recuperate
In order to refocus and renovate
Even the strongest can  combust and can go up in flames
There’s no need to feel shame
Instead learn the lesson it’s trying to teach
Read these words that  are there to preach
And like a Phoenix rise from the ashes
Let your truth speak to the masses
Don’t hide behind the past and place blame
Just ensure you’re no longer the same
Like a Phoenix let yourself be re born again
Don’t dwell on you’re deign
Come back from it fiercer than ever
Ensure it’s ties you sever
Let it  all go up in flames
Watch it burn as you fight to reclaim
Like a Phoenix  learn to soar high and become reborn
It’s your time to be adorn
So rise  and learn to fly above
Remember during this time the importance of self love
Like a Phoenix from the ashes, it’s time to start over
Remember this is your  time for a changeover

God Grants

A sudden burden of flipping turns him into a fraction /
Action of correction in your cranium needs traction /
Bad habits all erratic need retracted to leave the bad flabbergasted /
Dad’s had it with blabber half gassed /
Mom’s at fits with the sadder last cast /
It’s time to rebuild your gasket close the guilt and accept that past /
With loss of balance he’ll tilt a step and the other he’ll sway /
No scoffs as God grants built pep for him to innovate and crave /
Show restraints in that trot trance and let go to win a place /
Hope remains and trains to not dance against fate /
Cope complaints and aims of the banes with faith to renovate their games /
Don’t sift pains just cuff and cell those demons away for gains /
Life rift and experience creates a hell of a wince and some grimace /
But with the premise immense like an overwhelming radiance /
Lift a new obedience followed by some grievance /
Don’t review old rants allow width to come into your presence /
Father lends many ladies and gents new grief vents or pressed sense /
Plenty a second chance as a new ordinance /
Such reverence protects and proves an alliance with resurgence

Crying Foetus

CRYING FOETUS

Hearing through the ears of  my mother’s skin;
the voice of confusions rushing like waters on the earth; am coming to stay.
Crying in the womb of my mother;  tears becomes my milk;

 I Cried  for my endangered life hearing;
From my mother’s complains; complains of hardship and,
unsafe world awaiting me.
As the river flow on the rock and the waterfall cry ; advising me to stay,
She cried for God’s provision when I come.
In my helplessness, the womb pushed me out into this world of endless sorrows.

I am crying for the sorrowful life am coming to live, and endured.
Crying for the danger of rape;
if am female; and, if am male, struggle continues till I return.
When I remembered my turning around in the womb,

Which one is  better; to return, or to  face reality of the pains;
The pains to pay my father’s debts, pains to renovate his  old building;
Or the pains to cope with heartless Leaders.
Stop crying, said my afterbirth; return, if you can’t cope.

Premium MemberThe Old Rusty Gate

How I used to care for this finely beautiful gate, once!
Couldn't ever see it rusty, dingy, dusty, dirty;
Creaking of this gate left me psychically in a dunce,
I sandpapered; cleansed; oiled; kept it gold-shiny and flirty...!

This old rusty gate now retells within many stories:
Stories of our union; innocent children-communion;
Stories of progress in all glorious territories;
Stories of rise and fall and separation and union...!

How death of dear ones leaves one's existence absurd and void!
The old rusty gate now revealed to my neighbors, common;
My sadness, emptiness, dankness, loneliness and schizoid,
And announced: though I was alive: R.I.P. with Brahman...!

I should, though late, renovate this old precious rusty gate,
Relish my memories till I live and rewrite my fate...!!!

Don'T Wait Make It Great

Do not hate
I can't relate
Its not too late
To make it great
Don't hesitate
Open the gate
To your hearts fate
And legislate
A plan-- cant wait
Let's get it straight
We need to cooperate
By choosing to separate
The bad as we amputate
Hatred that can irritate
Love we need to renovate
This world let's not complicate
How we can obliterate
Meanness and participate
Togetherness and terminate
Evil as we recreate
More love that will never fade

Jaded totally; can’t work more
Often heard from a sort of people
Upbeat and uplift your spirits
Renovate your faded thoughts
Never humiliate you saying,” I can’t.”
Enthrall your mind with vibrant thoughts
“Yet to be done a lot,” be the motto and march forward.

If Power Comes Your Way

If power comes your way,
You can use it to dictate the state of play,
So, use it wisely every day.

You will have the power to delegate,
You will have the power to relegate,
You will have the power to dedicate,
As long as you concentrate.

You will have the power to renovate,
You will have the power to update,
You will have the power to Innovate,
As long as you don't hesitate.

You will have the the power to hate,
You have the power to be late,
You have the power to tempt fate,
Should you chose to activate.

If power comes your way,
Know that it will dissipate,
If you delegate,
To those who wish to speculate,
In order to accumulate.

Premium MemberNot My Responsibility

I am responsible
and responsive
to every human built shelter
I have experienced as home,
mine to use,
to buy further improvements or sell,
to renovate or destroy.

I am responsible
and vulnerably responsive
to every lot of unimproved real estate,
every plot against healthy soil
and supporting water systems
and plants
and living creatures
who once called this place, home,
this space, habitat
to cooperatively use
to regenerate healthy wealth
and to degenerate diseased corruption.

I am accountable
when cooperative responsibilities
become transparent
from now
back toward Earth's uncivilized
precivilized
uncompromised civility,

Wildness,
wilderness,
contemplative silence,
celebrating cacophony,

Polyphonic
polypathic
chaotically complex
beautifully true,
magnificently not mine.

Born To Be

By Parizo Van Thulare

Hear me tell the untold
Hear me speak the unspoken
Hear me reveal the unrevealed

Let me fold the Unfolded
Wake the Unwoken
And Melt the frozen
So they too can feel the rhythm

I'm here to write the unwritten
To read the unread
And let you feel the unfelt

I was born to rise
Give hope to the lost
To heal the broken
And inspire the uninspired
To spread such love
And grow it to unloved

I was born to redo
To renovate
And renew

Encounter Part I

Night time again after a twelve-hour shift
Making my way down the road riding fast
I’m homeward bound
Suddenly I brake to stop
At the sight of a bearded man with a fez
He was smilingly offering to push me wherever it is that I was going
He introduced himself as Adam
The man who sleeps in a pipe on Loerie Road
He was rather very angry telling about the city council, who wants to remove him and his home from the Nantes Park
The City Council wants to renovate
Ah! I thought of the developmental scenario
You get evicted from your home
There is a new town development to be build
Adam seemed enraged at this stage talking about him and his home removal
It was not his anger that frightened me
It was the fact that he slept outside so long
That he adapted animal instincts for survival
To protect him and his home to whatever may come alive
That he might forget he was helping a wheelchair man

Premium MemberGallery of My Heart

in hindsight how trivial it seems
workaholic’s constant judging
the need to be in control
striving for lofty standards
of overpriced perfection

the wasted opportunities
to bond with family and friends
and forge lasting memories

missed and gone with the wind
no second chances or redos
time never more precious

life’s a series of new beginnings it’s said
of turning pages and starting over
so now’s come the time to focus on myself
to drop the act and renovate my inner home
where I’ll retire and spend my life what’s left

the time is now to gather and unclutter
decide what’s of value and truly will to treasure
no time like now to focus on the gallery of my heart
