You are the true love of my life I am so blessed to be your wife Our love story is true And started the day I met you Marriage is not always pure bliss But ours started after the first kiss We were inseparable from day one When our journey had just begun We share many common likes and desires But also, many differences still transpire You’re a night owl and I prefer to get up early And you sleep soundly, and I sleep poorly We love to take long drives and try to find treasures In antiquing, nature or enjoying culinary pleasures I like to walk and exercise most every day While you continue to avoid it in every way I like things to be neat and in order While you’re a pack rat and a slight hoarder I like to read, write poems and create While you like to fix, build and renovate You like Harry Potter and I like anything mystery I like current stories, and you prefer history We both enjoy the local news and Netflix series And enjoy haunted stories and with all the queries I knew I found in you my soulmate and best friend And blessed to have you in my life until the very end
