May your pain erode you alike the touch of stagnation upon a rotting corpse- akin to a wilted rose stained with the stench of fear & longing.

populations increasing
resources depleted
what will sutain us?

As wealth is held
controlled by the few
with so many deprived
when will there be justice?

As power is polarised
conflicts encouraged
the others abused
when will there be peace?

As we accelerate
communications ever faster
responses more instant
where are we heading?

As we leave behind
oceans polluted
space above cluttered
how will this end?

As society collapses
environment degrades
sea levels rise
who will

Sliver of snow remains
No longer pristine or pretty
Gray and gravely, gray-scale ugly
Dog rolls in it, loving the cold wetness

I am the remnants of a man,
The embers, not the fire;
I am the leavings in the can,
The smile without desire.

Abandoned

The town, betrayed by time passed, lies forsaken.
Lost, lain memories, like tumble weeds, awaken
To the prod of windy wisps, and roll willy nilly,
Hazardously rendering any hope of revival as silly.

Whispers of the past, wind borne, quickly fade,
Always out of hearing, always too soft, under the breath, played.

It befalls on me the intensity,
Catapulted with dire immensity,

In the devastating deluge of sorrow river,
swept by the agony current the senses quiver. 
Perceptive awareness faculty sinks within deep,
awakens the quintessence so long asleep.

From the consuming entity of trinity of being, 
if the mind-body dualism disappears unseeking, 
when the distant bells relentlessly toll,

Here I am,
A remnant of war,
Here I lay, broken and riddled with arrows and acrimony
As I watch the birds fly away with my bloodied eyes. 

The sky is as grim as the reapers
Who unleashed hell on us,
