“Life is short. Relish it from beginning to end, and share your joy in it with friends and family." by author of poem

Sip the delight of life as if it were fine wine.
Savor it as you would savor every morsel of a delicious feast.
Life will not always be easy,
So you must take advantage of every precious moment.
Dance, sing, laugh, chase fireflies, and watch the sun rise and set.
Such simple things as these are free.
Life is a gift, and once you open it,
It is more important that you share it with loved ones.
Teach your children the joy of living so that
Your joy in living it will extend itself for generations to come.

I hold you.
And bite you.
You drip down my chin..
I really just didn't know
Where to begin

My teeth as they sink
Through the layers of joy
Encouraged by lentil
Enraptured by soy

There are moments and layers
In life we should cherish;
None ever so blissful
As encountering relish

Or the pickly thing
Or the goo that's so cheesy
Yet it's not, we're OK
My conscience still frees me

For a burger is life.
With it's multiple facets
And the creatures we love..
Well, they're more than just assets

So dive in and be free
To celebrate goodness
Free from harm or distress
Something wholesome and bloodless

Your body will thank you
The planet will send
A sigh of relief
To some four legged friend

We can all live together
Without fear or distressing
For a burger is life.
It's the truth. And no messing.

Give them to me your heart
So that may I impart
Share unto me your mind body and soul
Give unto me a start
I love you I come to restore
Beyond that nothing more I want
Your blessedness to be happy in Jesus
As I caress your blessed heart, mind and soul

Can you still grasp me trembling on the ledge?
Your braw heart was precautious to dive in.
Do you spot me pause seeking out a pledge?
Can you still grasp me trembling on the ledge?
A strong leaf turns to a caring skin hedge.
To taste my zeal in your arms and within.
Can you still grasp me trembling on the ledge?
Your braw heart was precautious to dive in.

Your cheeks curve into a buxom embrace.
it's awesome to see you in the mirror.
a little flirting is more than good pace
Your cheeks curve into a buxom embrace.
you are conscious about your selfhood grace
You're thinking of poems that may cheer her.
Your cheeks curve into a buxom embrace.
it's awesome to see you in the mirror.

Shuffle Your Playlist

Instead of playing your regular playlist
Just shuffle the playlists one day
And yes, you should not skip, I insist...

What wil happen now?
You will hear your least fav song first
You will be upset, but still you know
Your favourite songs are also in the list

And so you will wait for it
But next, You'll hear another least favourite
This time, you won't be upset
You will just keep calm and hear it, I bet

And again, It will play your least fav
And now, you will be enjoying this process
But you won't easily express.

You will start noticing the interesting bits
And eventually fall in love with those least hits..

Now that's what happens in life
When we know what's there for us
When we happen to guess
We certainly lack the sheer enthusiasm

So don't be too attentive
Don't plan aggressively
Don't follow the time table
Cos, if we know
What's on the row
We can't relish,
For happiness lies
in the random things...

So go shuffle your playlist
Shuffle your time table
Be beguiled
Be a curious child
Life will be interesting...

For You

This one’s for YOU-
All those who are kind to me, whether in-person
Or online-
Just, simply, truly- thank YOU for taking the time.
I hope that you know that sweet words I cherish
And the acceptance I sincerely relish.
I am young, but have experienced much-
Much pain, and heart-break, and anguish-
But thank YOU,
For all your lovely love.
Blessings from the King Above,
Lyria

Premium Member Relish My Love-

Relish my love
A darling dream
Where you and I
We'll be surreal
Lifted and  paraded
Embracing praising and dancing
Kissing Our Father God
While being endow
Spiritually in loved
I love God
I love Jesus
I love the woman
God gives me
Relish my love

What I Can Attain I Relish

A regret of a huge weight
carved in a feel of hurt
installed a pain in vein..
The soul freezed in time
stripped of warmth
denied enlivening beats..
A regret of a huge weight
for not being..
not doing..
not living..
***
There would always be
a joy missed
a life switched
a love not dared
and skipped..
There would always be
words not weaved
voices not spoken
paths not trodden..
***
A regret of a huge weight
its doors I have to lock
and keep chasing out
wistful thoughts..
Gates of possibilities
I need to unlock
and deep inside
contentment and peace
I need to restore..
***
Done with the unreachable
through with the inconceivable
I surrender to the words
gift
and what I can attain
I relish..

Cavernous rooms bellow
        tomorrow's departure
        Void pools desperation

        Mangled clothes, makeshift pillows
        My hair collapses on your coat-hanger chest
        Its curtain opaques trepidation

        Foot worn wool fuzz carpet
        Absorbs awaiting absence
        Limb clinging disturbs fibres

        Summoning static air
        Captured, our fraught
        obtains courage

Premium Member As I Relish In My Savior-

AS I RELISH IN MY SAVIOR--

As I relish in my Savior;
Once led by my sinful behavior;
I’m addicted spiritually slain by my inner demons,
Harvesting these pangs, I pain caught up in exigency;
God’s mercies His grace He has given me;
Now alas, I AM a freedman;
Abstain from the woes those that I’ve vested;
I’ve past my trials, I’ve past my test now I’m rested;
In the mighty, mighty arms of the Master Christ;
Relenting in all things I’ve sacrificed;
Shall know I shall not scream His name in vain;
I will allow His truths and culture to rain;
Is, destined I will, I shall be His;
For this is so, this is what God says;
For my sins shall be drained;
In Jesus mighty named…
I’m now forgiven beginner,
yes now I am a winner
In the mighty, mighty name of Jesus, Hallelujah,
and alleluia
AMEN and again
AMEN

God Embelish and Relish

God Embelish and Relish

God, You I truly will embellish,
And pay honor to and also relish;
Pray each day,
With words I say;
Be in haven one day is where I wish.

A Relish Cake-Not For a Contest

What a horrible thought it would make
to think a pastry chef would ever bake
a delicate confection we know as cake
with chopped pickles...Oh, what a fake!

I prefer relish on a juicy hot dog in a bun
but not a relish cake. No, thank you, hun.
Not even a taste if you held a loaded gun.
That's all I have to say, and now I'm done...
except to note this is not for the contest
judged by the one who thinks she's the best.

What I Relish the Most About Last Night's Feast

When she cried tears of joy
it is rare I'm sure
You look forward to it too
For she was thoroughly entertained
She was the center of our attention
while she glowed to fill the room with her being
her being pure sincere demure
It touched my heart although it was a bit to bear
And when she touched my arm
I knew that she remembered
