Premium Memberone flew over the cuckoo’s nest

by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged
we wandered earth like a lost ghost
fire of desire in our heart raged
for peace we wandered coast to coast

synced not to music of the spheres
by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged
we sought solace among our peers
mental battles ceaselessly waged

in the flow of time, body aged
we were but a dead man walking
by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged
stark haunting with dark fears stalking

shift to stillness made us stronger
heart sang, when from thoughts disengaged
choosing to suffer no longer
by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged

Premium MemberThe Blues Music

When I think of the blues music,
I’m picturing a man singing
while playing his guitar and a
liquor bottle nearby to drink.

Heartache and sadness cross my mind,
when I think of the blues music
for striking melancholy tone
with lyrics that express sorrow.

As if etching a broken heart,
making me sigh and misty eyed.
When I think of the blues music,
must cajole myself with good thoughts.

The songs reflect life with weary
heart that no slumber, rest could ease.
Smelling lilacs would lift my mood,
when I think of the blues music.

Premium MemberDivine Mother’s touch

Love in love with love keeps no score,
etching bliss burns in weary heart
and as God’s grace does so in-pour,
scent of lilacs sees fears depart.

Although we have drifted afar,
love in love with love keeps no score,
on spine’s thirty three stringed guitar,
playing music that makes folklore.

In the boat God Himself does oar,
our soul ascends, though we slumber;
love in love with love keeps no score,
yet we sigh grazed by bliss thunder.

Though we’ve sinned, misty eyes cajole
God to enter through our heart’s door,
that we may feel joyous and whole.
Love in love with love, keeps no score.

Premium MemberSuch Joy Abounds

His music fills this moonlit night; its etching pleasure feels so right. As misty scents of lilacs bind, long, peaceful slumber, pray I find. It calms my soul with pure delight; his music fills this moonlit night. Though weary, I am lifted up, and sigh with joy that fills my cup. From his guitar, such joy abounds; cajole myself with soothing sounds. His music fills this moonlit night against the aura of its light. The moon and music bind as one; with scents of lilacs, joy is spun. Such calming pleasure they incite! His music fills this moonlit night.

Premium MemberGod Is Good

"ALL MY LIFE YOU HAVE BEEN SO GOOD"
There is a song that I treasure.
It speaks of the goodness of God.
When first heard, I fell to my knees.

"OH, YOUR MERCY NEVER FAILS ME"
God speaks to me with tenderness.
My whole life flashes before me.
Things that bother me vanishes.

"FROM THE MOMENT THAT I WAKE UP"
My heart is filled with gratitude.
God's thoughts of me are filled with love
I start my day sitting with him.

"ALL MY LIFE YOU HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL"
In all the issues I have faced,
God has never abandoned me.
All my life you have been so good

Premium MemberAutumn Is Waiting

Autumn is waiting in the wings,
hiding discretely among trees,
in plaintive music a bird sings,
coaxing a ride on a cool breeze.

Summer, reluctant to cede day
Autumn is waiting in the wings.
Finally gives the nights away
to crisp breezes that Autumn brings.

Autumn offers gifts of gold rings
to match Summer's soft, golden hair.
Autumn is waiting in the wings
Summer blows kisses on warm air.

Autumn, in gowns of red and gold
will be queen, altho Summer clings.
As she leaves, her story now told
Autumn is waiting in the wings.

Premium MemberWhere Once They Rode

Their sadness sounds from distant hills,
Drums speaking strength, valor not lost
Calling warriors to give might and will
Victories now but at what cost.

Now drums guide dancers' whirling feet
Their sadness sounds from distant hills
Warriors' hearts feel a quiet defeat
Memories of greatness~silenced, still.

Lilting birds' calls, flute answers trills
Music caught in enchantment's lures
Their sadness sounds from distant hills
Voices of flute, lonesome and pure.

Over vast land they hunted game
Days now lost of conquests and skills
Spirits sigh for those times untamed
Their sadness sounds from distant hills.

Premium MemberThe Audience

As the audience falls silent, the lights dim: the curtain is drawn. And a magical night begins; launched upon a sea of whispers. Fantasy shucks reality as the audience falls silent. And imagination takes hold; overpowering all reason. Music and motion in tandem give sway to possibilities. As the audience falls silent, chasing dreams down the rabbit hole. Illusion creates amazement: that overrides doubt's disbelief. And fuels curiosity; as the audience falls silent.

Premium MemberYou Walk On Mist

You walk light on mist in blue hill, winds waft to carry you along, whispering in ear a sound shrill, in the heart it becomes a song. Whistling the sweet song in the wind, you walk light on mist in blue hill. The song suffuses the trees, leaves find how music in them winds instill. The song echoes in the valley still, sound of rippling silence persists. You walk light on mist in blue hill with music in air you haven’t missed. Beguiled loneliness in mind strays, your rapt senses rapture distills. With soul lighted by new sun rays, you walk light on mist in blue hill.
