Kyle Langford runs for governor in CA
He thinks Auschwitz would save the day
and solve the problems that I guess he blames Jews for
But Slavic voters may show him the door.
74,000 Polish Christians died at Auschwitz camp
But Let's look closer under the lamp
Nazis targeted any possible Polish elite
If you attended secondary school, you could die at their feet.
Secret killings of intellectuals, and mass graves
If the kids looked Aryan, they were kidnapped by those knaves
And there was "Generalplan Ost", a plan to settle Germans on Slavic lands
The Slavs would be removed, as such a plan demands.
3 million ethnic Poles died due to Hitler's schemes
Is it really smart for Kyle to indulge in Nazi dreams?
There are much better Republicans running, I give them my vote
Bad ideas keep cropping up, let's keep freedom afloat.
Left and right both have members who don't think Jews are great
The left more of a danger now, they'll do in the Jewish state
But let's not get caught up in cartoon history
The endless appeal of Adolf is a human nature mystery.
Polar bear at the north pole,
floating on a lone ice floe,
thinks to himself,
'What happened to my world,
where did all the ice go?'
If to the south pole he did depart,
penguins to compare,
would he then be,
a well-traveled
bipolar bear?
Midnight drive in absent minded dark
Where wood poles are magnetic
Where all the cardinal directions
pull towards,
The iron inside my heart burns
to burst from my chest
I have led all the metals
and minerals inside of me
To someplace astray
I took a dizzying route
I ambled from star to star
To carve out
incomprehensible constellations
Like telephone poles on a country road
the years stretch endlessly before him
One no different than the other
an 'only family,' no sisters, no brothers
The first stretch he calls 'office poles'
pencil-sharpening, paper-shuffling
toggling between screens
The next stretch he dubs 'lunch hour'
long lines at Mickey D's, Burger King, KFC
The last stretch he calls 'clock-watching'
and it drags on all afternoon, as in forever
at 3:15 p.m. he blacks out
Our hearts are heavy with the world's woes.
It seems lies and hate follow wherever one goes.
Added to that, the unjust war in Ukraine,
and Earth's breath slows for she's now in pain.
Greed has spilled across our beautiful land.
Dollar signs seem all many understand.
How to change minds that have been made,
when counting millions that they've been paid.
Lies float through the air, toward the absurd.
Truth is out there, too, but seldom heard.
Some stories I've heard beyond comprehension!
But they succeed in adding to growing tension.
Some days I want to just give up on Earth.
It's then I turn to nature for mental rebirth.
How can we not try to save this lonely beauty?
We are her shepherds, it's our call to duty!
Is it a pipe dream to think we can mend?
or possible if our hearts can extend.
Can enough love cancel all hate?
We must give it a try--it may open the gate.

For Unseeking Seeker's "Rotate Conscioness Polarity" Contest
FLIPPING THE POLES
Once undisturbed satisfied and content
With the acceptance of doing it right
There is the merest spark deep inside
That wants to set the pleasant aflame
To burn and slice that humdrum life
Reaching out toward greater freedom
And fresh cold air one always deserved
Yet out alone in those Arctic wastes
There is the faintest pull back to warmth
To slip back into the normality groove
Nodding and smiling at everything
Feeling the embrace of compliance
Yet no resentment at the furry shackles
But that little spark may flare again
If lines and verse are indeed
the tool's we poet's are to use
in order to dictate the thought
process of one's inner soul
Then surely love should capture
an inadvertent overture of subtleties,
tenderness and kindness
And on the other hand if one wishes
to vent one's rage the pen should
pierce deep into he page
And yet at any stage what once
at first began as love can just as
easily turn to rage
As love and rage are seldom not
poles apart
Much like tears of joy and sorrow
Just depends on feelings at a
certain point in time and how we
choose to express them then
And whether or not one was hopelessly
head over heals in love and wanted
all the world to know
Or rather suffering the painful
affliction of abroken heart and
want your significant other to pay
You say Brexit I say love.
You say independence I say love.
You say European Union I say love.
You say immigration I say love.
You see coloured people I see love.
You see disadvantage I see love.
You see gay people I see love
You see people who are different I see love
You see money I see love
You see hate I see love
I love everything you hate and I love all people of all nations of all colours.
You can keep your fifty p’s and I’ll keep my love for everything and every person they don’t represent
Poles up from bottom had protruded;
Others were out of sight and excluded;
Life displayed;
Never did fade,
While all of nature's beauty exuded.

A polar bear seeking a mate
Spruced up his fur coat for a date.
Alas, his sweetheart
Had drifted apart
For sadly, he'd left it too late!

I know it’s cold up north for you
It’s flipping cold down south as well
Though we’re poles apart in so many ways
You up north and me down south
There’s still that draw to you
Because of your magnetic attraction you see
Just wondered if you fancied a holiday somtime
Couldn’t we just say; meet in the middle at the equator one day
As you slide south down over me your heart and honey pot will warm
As I slide up north under you my winky and cockles will thaw
You’ll hear them say
Did the earth move for you darling or was it just an earthquake.
What they don’t know, it was just a couple of poles “coming together” in the middle one day.
The Eagles accomplished their goal
To play in this year’s Super Bowl.
Their fans are all thrilled
That they have fulfilled
For Philly, a huge starring role.
For if they are the Super Bowl champs,
Then revelers won’t allow cramps
To their partying ways
Though in past winning days
The authorities dealt with some scamps.
To prevent this, they’re using some grease
On the light poles, so this will decrease
People climbing up high
To toss things and defy
Orders shouted at them by the police.
I just read that it’s Crisco* they use,
A fact that to some will amuse.
For if they had used lard
Certain rogues would be barred –
Now the hooligans, too, can be Jews!
*a type of shortening that is kosher, which
can be used for cooking by observant Jews
A look, a touch, a movement, a greeting,
Invisible matter is now a thing in fashion.
Waves of dark energy arrange a meeting,
Similar attractors find a matching passion.
It's a cosmic, complimentary compatibility;
A reciprocated smile on an ice-blue planet.
It's a notion that aids our species' longevity;
Soulmates: two poles of the same magnet.

Between Two Poles
Between two poles
The child takes flight.
Impelled by the sun
Ceased by the night.
Caught in a web
He did not spin.
The balance of life
Hangs on with a grin.
--Michael Crabb
I-- love
you still
but I can see
That our paths have gone awry
Our parallels have turned to Ys
And I do not know how to say goodbye
and so I won’t.
Oil and water
emul--- sified
have come apart
like cur dled cream;
Fision has split
the nucleus.
I only hope
our flight will stop
While you still seem a part of me;
If our limit is not infinity
I at least will know where
to reach
for you
