The essence of our spirituality rests
On having plenary faith in the Lord.
Who are we without an omnipotent force
In our day-to-day existence?
When we find ourselves broken
Who do we turn to for reconstruction?
Or when the sun deserts the sky
And days hang over us like a brooding cloud?
How do we find a guiding light in the darkness?
How do we move a mountain without faith?
What is the measure
Of our spiritual development?
The essence of that development
Is having steadfast faith in the Lord,
Fully surrendering to a power
Much greater than ourselves.
By simply believing that God is
Our savior; the Alpha and Omega
Who sent only his begotten son
To die for our sins, only then
Do we earn the key to his kingdom.
Developing and maintaining
A relationship with God is essential.
He works for and through us.
He does for us all the things
Impossible for us to do ourselves.
He unfailingly fills the spiritual hole
We created in our souls, gratis;
As long as we believe in him,
And follow him.

Aloneness
metamorphosizes
into isolating loneliness
with haunting banshee-like screams;
daily caged inside
perennially mute
four walls,
a divorced empty nester.
Inhabiting
a home
once filled
with mirth and chatter.
In much happier times,
his refuge;
now a lonely prison,
Until he steps out
the front door
to plenary freedom.

Something I’m sure is wrong with Tom,
His laughter crushing like burst bomb:
Men having to bear Cruel Chapter
And wounds keep licking long after…
Tom does the fullest delight find
In gushing blood that might one blind,
Clinching absurd satisfaction
From mischief by Hard-Skinned Faction.
I had this guess from Tom’s answer,
With words suddenly a dancer:
When shredded are combatants’ clothes,
“If the Torn Things Tom like or loathes?”
A case of The Wrong Obsession
Forward pushing like A Procession…
Tom I hate like A Recession:
A Fruitless Plenary Session…
Really, it had been a puzzle
Why Tom excuses The Nozzle.

if only we could all...
find...
peace in war, beauty in ugliness.
construct...
and not dismantle each other.
offer help...
to all who need it.
try to understand...
people, cultures, religions
and perspectives alien to us
instead of rushing to condemn.
exponentially favor...
what unites us
over what divides us.
control...
anger; never allowing it
to take plenary control of us.
accept all people...
for whom they really are,
as opposed to dismissing them
for being "different"
wouldn't that be a wondrous thing? just imagine!
all humanity
would be gold
in bright sunshine.

An indulgence is the remission in whole or in part of the temporal punishment due to sin
An indulgence is not a pardon of sin, nor a license to commit sin, and one who is in state of mortal sin cannot gain an indulgence
There are 2 kinds of Indulgenses- Plenary and Partial
A Plenary indulgence is the remission of the temporal punishment due to sin
Partial indulgence is the remission of a part of temporal punishment due to sin
The Church by means of indulgences remits the temporal punishment due to sin by applying to us the merits of Jesus Christ, and thesuperabundant satisfactions of the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary and the saints; which merits and satisfactions are its spiritual treasury
To gain indulgence we must be in the state of grace and perform the works enjoined

If only I can rise up and go there
There to market place of Mercy
That I meet generous Charity,
The wealthy merchant that she is
The hidden Samaritan none knows
With plenary powers of giving
If only I can reach there
In her ears I would whisper
Names of those that go hungry
And those that are homeless
That misery dangles in their eyes
And football played in their bellies
All wants could vanish in horizon
With the setting sun

*************
On velvet reams of cobalt carpet.
I embrace loves' memory portrait.
On streets, or in dancing memory,
Be thou, forever, in my dreams, plenary.
My dreams rarely of my own flawed
greatness.
But center on you, god of all
my love and preciousness.
In whispering, secret shadows doth we
in darkness lie.
In love with each other and the tender,
twirling stars of the sky.
Love for you, oh,doth keep my pen
moving!
Your hair, your eyes, forever my
soul be soothing.

Supernatural Plenary
One hand on the paddle of problems, the other steering into the wilderness but it never phased me.
Falling skies, talking mountains, noisy walls and a hungry ground, l was never obliterated.
One of a kind the son of a warrior, born in the arms of survivors.
Jesus Christ my pillar of strength, his words and promises my secret weapons and prosperity my reality.

The only genius I ever met was me
Why is it so hard for others not to see?
I try so hard to teach everything I know
And all I hear from folks is where to go
It's my cross to bear, this brain of mine
Such inherent brilliance, I can't confine
This glimmering light shines to all inanity
To bring hope for this plenary of insanity
Everyone should listen, and listen well
Because there's no place for me in hell
All the souls, you see, that made it there
Didn't heed the virtuosity I tried to share
It's a plague, this scintillating mind I wield
Oh, but if such lucidity were left unrevealed
The consequences of such a horrid travesty
Would for you to be just another casualty

Amorous glance that makes my happy soul dance

I'm Mephistopheles, you, my Faust
I'm to your mind what a fluorescent bulb is...
To a fly. I take perverse pleasure
In trapping you in my undertow
I'm a tireless tease that will break your will
I live in your mind, rent-free. I'm tough to evict
I'm your friend with bad intentions
Always up to mean mischief
I show no mercy to my victims, and I have...
No remorse. I couldn't care less whether
You're a person of virtue or vice
I couldn't care less about your age...
Your race; your religious or political affiliation
Once I've seized plenary control of you
My sole aim is to destroy you, and take your soul
I'm that enticing demon that tempts you...
Minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day
Refusing to let you sleep or take a vacation
Wean me off at your peril
My name is addiction
