Glad

i lie here glad
happy with a smile
fireflies gad
Hearty for miles,
It is not ephemeral, it is the twin of long life -
This feeling that is within, plenary like rain drops
That fall for the cloud's cry

I have now seen my dream here in reality
It is a monument standing
etched With words that will give me eternity
When the young speak of me
far after i am hid beneath

Apollos have watered this seed
buried above the rim of the earth
far from aridness

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We liked how the “fire flies Gad” really lights up the feeling of lasting joy, it's a cool mix of nature and deep dreams that sticks with you, Micha.
