My rabbit plays poker
He’s no joker
He knows how to bluff
and lots of other stuff
We split the winnings
which has him grinning
I told him 20/80 ~ stupid bunny
thought it was funny
At evening the old man would play
As if colors sighed themselves in strings
Like a rainbow he lit the room
With every note or tune
Love and loves beauty, echoed out
Like water to flowers
His violin spoke like it was alive
Like telling his music in words
To those who would listen and enjoy
Outside in the streets the sound
Rang out for miles
His dedication to his art
Came from within his very soul
He creates a magical world of sound
As each note is played with love and deep attention
His mind with only one thought
His music, his solace
Played through a heart that comes alive
With each passing note played
Each night he would play until early morning
At day when he could
Never tiring of his creations
Under his guidance the Violin became alive
It spoke to him, and he listened
That’s what made the Music so wonderful
They created it together
With love and perfect harmony
Together
Our spine is a harp of thirty three strings,
each vertebra sounding a unique note,
which when touched by kundalini grows wings,
that in the vast void, presence may free float.
Thirty three nodes, thirty three rings of light,
full scale of a rainbow, beyond seven,
vertebrae on which we sense bliss delight,
Jacob’s ladder that takes us to heaven.
Such is the truth by consciousness affirmed,
esoteric wisdom sung in folklore,
which in some scattered scriptures is confirmed,
known in stillness, when we open heart’s door.
Oh worthy hermit, bookmark not this page ~
Vaporise ego to become a sage
We had a weeny dog
As short as he was tall
He faked being sick
For attention he’d get
Vet said he’s fooled us all
Could be either senryu or haiku
chipmunk plays on drive
enjoying trees verdant shade....
mother's day plant waits
From streak and blur of candle faint
Her whispered breath gasps through dim hall--
That longing haunts without restraint
When a presence twirls come midnight:
Gently, gently she advances
Yet tapered wax fades...bleak the loff
And she aches for snuffled chances;
To meet him ...in world's afterlife

churning outverses, a prolific old timer
a wordsmith, lyricist, jotting notes everyday
prolific poeticule, laundering words in play
Piano gently plays
Eyelids like shades drawn
Ease back in La-Z-Boy chair
The present slips away
Eternity is present
Piano gently plays
Fingering time and space
Reaching for relationship
With the most, high God
Piano Gently plays
I never leave haphazardly
The patrician Rock keeps me
He blesses me with peace
I trace His words in my spirit
Piano gently plays
the only one who plays Joe’s drum is the dog
His tail bangs into it as hard as a stiff log
He plays it on the way out, he plays it on the way in
Bang goes that drum, this dog is not thin.
Trump’s stuck-up pin playing adrift,
Here’s fig leaf of his haughty brief:
‘On verge of nuclear war
How two neighbours next door
Were stopped, thanks to my trade tariff’.
Not his policy pick,
Rather personal pique
That might drive two friends off the cliff.

Note: Trump feels that if lies are repeated umpteen times they turn into truths. Keeping this in mind he throws in statistics to support his grand policy postures. India has rebuffed him often on Indo-Pak matters, short of calling him a liar. But he goes on like a stuck-up Gramophone record.
I'm not worth a lot
But you are
Your more then the moon and stars
You hold the key to my deeply broken heart
Your more then everything and I tear myself apart
You love me but I'm dead
Mentally I'm gone
But you don't care
Youd love me till the sun runs out
Till the end
I'm not worth a lot
But you are
Your special and wonderful
And I'm not
I'm bruised and never enough
I'm sorry if you think my writing is sad
But the truth is so am I
im not worth a lot
But you...
Your worth everything and more
gone astray in a world of her own
she earnestly embraces her whims
dancing to a wistful melody
that truthfully only she can hear
and the abiding stars play along
spinning round in graceful harmony

Casey Kasemus played the hits,
Renaissance songs so pretty.
It was as good as was it gets,
a countdown of dulcet ditties.
Life plays the beat
The steps are up to us
To decide our fate
In the dance of life
In the LIGHT, I FIGHT to find my clear SIGHT,
With echoes of TIME that CHIME in my HEART,
Each moment's a GIFT, a spark that feels RIGHT.
Through SHADOWS, I TREAD, where doubts may SPREAD,
Yet hope's gentle WHISPER will never DEPART,
As dreams UNNFOLD, chasing bright paths I READ.
In the DANCE, I PRANCE, embracing the SPHERE,
A purpose that CALLS, within me it PLAYS,
To share my SOUL, I'm WHOLE, this is why I'm HERE.
