Notes About The Poem

Piano Gently Plays

Piano gently plays
Eyelids like shades drawn
Ease back in La-Z-Boy chair
The present slips away
Eternity is present
Piano gently plays
Fingering time and space
Reaching for relationship
With the most, high God
Piano Gently plays
I never leave haphazardly
The patrician Rock keeps me
He blesses me with peace
I trace His words in my spirit
Piano gently plays

Lovely lyrical poem ~ the repetion of the line 'piano gently plays' works well here.

Wow!! I like this one. It is not easy getting alone to have time to meditate but this one should get a person in the right frame of mind and heart to do so. Thank you for sharing it with us. Sara K
