Fatty doggy
Happy sleepy

          Witty
          Greedy

 Pulsing
Patting

          Thumping
          Hugging

Trendy
Friendly

           Watching
           Dreaming

Barking
Chasing

           A friend
          At hand

Stampy

In a basket he once sat
Black and fluffy and slightly fat.
Dreamies were his Friday treat
And he very often snuggled by your feet.

Hanging off a door
His eyes would search
For Sam and Elly.
Where very often they would both be eating
Jelly.

Mates he made in other cats
Friends for life
Fancy that!
Somehow though
Stampy always knew he was top cat.

Lana desperately searches for her mate
and wonders daily why he’s always late.
Why hasn’t he touched his plate?
Time heals pain
And we loved stampy because he was wonderfully insane

Home

Home.

This day - the 23rd,
marks the day you left the earth.
A date now etched into your essence,
as the last trace of your presence.

You've melted back into the earth,
returned to soil, to nature's birth.
I find traces of you everywhere - in every corner I turn,
in every creature that crosses my path, yet you're the only one I yearn.

You were never just a pet, you were childhood itself,
now we're three, and your bowl gathers dust on the shelf.
Losing you feels like losing everything again,
as though I buried my faith with you, then.

The rain has wept where now you lie,
it's tears soaked deep from the grieving sky.
I hope it blesses where you sleep,
where roots now hold what we still keep.

I miss you more than words allow,
and though you're gone, you're with me now.
In peace, I hope you roam,
Forever loved. Forever home.

Dedicated to MIGHTY-my beloved Pet

this One is for The Mighty Mighty,
A great lovely and most loving Pet Cat.
I called her Mighty when I found her;
A very scraggly little kitten left stranded and motherless
A Lonely Beauty At The Back of Esmie's shop.
I told Esmie Let us look after her.
We were here parents and guardians.
She grew Big and powerful and mighty brought forth 3 beautiful kittens.
One go sick and died, and one was given away to a mutual friend of ours.

Today, June 25th 2026 I got sad news.
She was rolled over by a vehicle and died.
Rest in peace and in pieces dearest Mighty.
See you in the other side.
We'll Meet again Someday, Sometime.

This one is for those of us who have lost a dear loved one or loving pet.
Do not despair, that pet is like a guardian angel watching over us,
Protecting us, from evil, from evil spirits;
With a vigilance and ferocity that is unmatched.

Premium Member Dog of Geometric Shapes

Triangular ears, cone shaped nose,
trapezoid body, coil of a tail.

The abacus of your black beady eyes
speaks of arithmetic, calculations.
What algebraic mind sends you barking
down the hall seeking out equations?

Licking your paws in algorithms
you breathe in cycles of in and out,
plus one and minus one --
napping in the zero of your bed.

You sweet, small mathematical creature,
I love you to infinity.

Raja, our soft precious fluffer nutter,
for you, I always melt like love butter.
Simply watching you sends me aflutter.
With tail up high, you are a grand strutter.

You are the best dog we have ever known.
Your intelligence is frequently shown.
That cover is only now and then blown,
like when trapped in a plastic bag hole zone.

You fetch, heal and we all think, sometimes speak;
'I muve you', 'mello' and 'melp' sound unique.
At times I think your talk is tongue and cheek.
You tell and show all our doors you WILL peak.

Unlike most felines, you hang with your peeps.
Together, more pack love flows for our keep.
You stay to play, talk, groom, perhaps lap sleep
and for popcorn, cheese or yogurt to reap.

Now thirteen, you want a new mattress share,
between us, on our pillows and my hair.
Knowing what you do not, I hold you there
to memorize you for my heart's layers.

Oh CHAMELEON,
you have changed over the years.
You were such a tease to me,
I loved talking with you.
WOW you are the Easter Bunny.

Tails In The Sky

I blinked and felt my feet go small,
Four fuzzy paws, no shoes at all.
A wagging tail began to sway,
Somehow I was a dog today.

Beside me sat a tabby bright,
My son, now whiskered, striped and light.
He purred, "Well this is new for sure,"
Then bounded through a golden door.

A familiar bark ran out across the ridge,
She waited near the rainbow bridge.
Our rescued girl, all healed and free,
Came racing, overjoyed to see.

She nuzzled me with happy cries,
A knowing sparkle in her eyes.
She circled him with gentle grace,
Then led us toward a shining place.

"You saved my life," her presence said,
"From hopeless days and fear and dread.
Now let me guide you, just as true,
I've waited here to walk with you."

We followed through the colored gleam,
As light danced softly like a dream.
And only when the sky turned blue
did I see what she already knew.

The world below grew faint and thin,
A place we wouldn't walk again.
My son curled close, his purrs at rest,
We understood but felt no stress.

For she was there, our loyal friend,
To lead us home at journey's end.
And she, our guide, with tail held high,
Led us toward the endless sky.

Premium Member The Joy Of A Pet

Cats will walk in and keep you company,
you smile and know everything is alright.
With a meow they’re melting away stress
as they catch those zoomies innocently.
In your home office play brings a love bite,
instantly proud they are built to impress.
Mindlessly grooming with a hand or comb,
such a simple motion brings pure delight.
Kitties bring calm in the midst of a mess.
The joy of a pet when you work from home?
                       Priceless.

Our pet dog Bree
basks midst joy's spree
as truly free…

     She plays with zest
     showing tricks' best
     smiting mouse-test...

          Guarding us well
          from awful smell
          are her barks' yell...

               She keeps us glad
               with doggie fad
               so cool, not bad...

                    Befriending cats
                    she shares her mats
                    along food fats...

                         Thus, everyday
                         to God, we pray*
                         "bless Bree alway."

*Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

As butterfly
I spread my wings
Float in blue sky
Like bird heart sings

Crisis fleeing
Bathing in sun
Never needing
Liquor or gun

As feral cat
Hunting for dinner
Found a fat rat
Supper winner

Am not wasteful
Bones sharpen teeth
I’m so graceful
Watch how I leap

Into the tree
That bends in wind
Creates shade leaves
Rustle amen

Weeping willow
Responds to life
All animals
Seek shelter nights

Like brown rabbit
Along with family
Hopping habit
From dog he flees

Who is a pet
With furry name
Gonna get wet
In light spring rain

Rain that feeds all
Flowers sway feast
They grow green tall
Feeding the bees

Who I disturb
Wearing perfume
My spoken word
Making them zoom

I flee from bees
Into the house
Not escaping
Sting and I shout

Nursing my stings
Was it my fault
Was only a dream
To take a walk

In the garden
Bird watch sun bathe
Bees don’t pardon
Maybe one day

I’ll be reborn
Creature with wings
With ego shorn
Happy living

As butterfly
I spread my wings
Float in blue sky
Living a dream
