Filicide is a thing most people
Would rather not think about.
And until this past month
Would rarely even talk of.
Now it’s on everyone’s mind.
They say there are “only” 150-200
Such cases a year in America,
But that doesn’t seem like only a few to me!
The fact 71% are committed by the mother
Also stays beneath the mainstream radar.
I guess we just don’t want to know,
But it’s right there in our face
In our myths and legends and personal stories
(I know I was intimidated by my mother
growing up, always aware she held the true
power and control in the home
and even some degree of omniscience,
and I’m no Sleeping Beauty or Snow White).
Just look at the number of children mothers kill
Before they are even born
(more than a million per year!).
Does that qualify as an epidemic?
An epidemic of what?
Confusion and convenience,
Anxiety and despair,
And above all selfishness.
After all motherhood
Is the ultimate act of selflessness
A doorway of no return.
Which reminds me of all those children.
Now that the sanctity of motherhood
Has been disgraced and debased
Are apple pie and baseball next?

Don’t tell me change is impossible.
I’ve done the math.
3,000 people.
$10 a week.
That’s $30,000 every week.
Invest it wisely, even at 3.25%.
That amounts to $1.6 million per year.
Enough to start a small business annually.
Enough to buy homes outright.
Enough to give dignity without debt.
And if thousands of groups did this?
Poverty wouldn’t need handouts.
Governments wouldn’t bleed through welfare.
Education, health, pensions—they’d thrive on the dividends of collective care.
I don’t care if you follow this.
Just don’t complain when you didn’t try.
This is how we fight unemployment.
Not with blame—
But with unity.
Not with pity—
But with the possibility.
The greatest gift you can give a child
Is a career that lasts a lifetime
Wages provide money to feed your family
creating employment worldwide
would overcome both poverty and starvation
creating independence with employment
lets everybody thrive
If every working person that could invest ten dollars per week
Invested in groups creating employment for the unemployed
You could create better lives for everyone
Sunday’s leap
and praise
This rest
among friends
in cozy pews
communing
with God
The greatest honor
I wish
all knew
The love
on fire
Holy Spirit
spire
This rest
with eyes and ears
on word of God
The word
that cleanses
No pressure
to be perfect
whilst being perfected
When you love
HIM
you WANT to please HIM
Practice makes perfect
this rest
Each day
restfully obey
Lean into HIS holy arms
Lay on his lap
The blood of Christ
afforded that
The curtain was ripped
Its thickness cut
The entrance couldn’t be entered by man
only one man per year
went past
Sometimes it was curtains
for the priest
Now
all who accept Christ
have peace
to rest
in HIS grace

the teams in the league. The average player's salary today
is in the neighborhood of $6.5 million per year. In the early
1960's the average salary was about $15,000 annually.

When a couple got a divorce, the wife was going to have to pay alimony.
She thought that she could get away with murder but that was baloney.
They had been married for twenty-seven years and had kids.
She was going to have to pay $50,000 per year because she earned more than her husband did.
She didn't want to lose half of her salary so murder was the direction in which she went.
But she didn't give the Police any credit, she didn't realize that they are very efficient.
The Police showed their efficiency when they arrested her, that was a painful lesson that she had to learn.
Half is much better than nothing and now she's behind bars and nothing is what this stupid woman earns.

The Prince of self delusion,
a whiny tory clown,
who hasn't money for the using ,
thinks crawling brings it round,
pathetic in his fervour,
to be the masters hound,
like sharks sucking on a surfer,
when moralitys' unwound,
honesty has left the room,
where charity escapes,
fair play is on the mouldy moon,

At 10 A.M on Friday 13th July
The Sun emerged from a cloud.
After five minutes shining bright thought,
'Sod this, I'm going back to bed. right now'
The Weather King called up Rain
But only got an answer phone.
Thor the God of thunder, was sick in bed.
An accident with a hammer it was thought.
Try as he might, the Weather King
Could not find someone to replace
The stubborn immovable Sun.
Who was now working to rule.
A better deal was his demand.
It was agreed for shorter hours
And if Sun was late rising
Overcast would cover the time.
Longer holidays was also agreed.
Fourty-eight to fifty weeks per year.
So if you want to see Summer Sun.
Don't blink when looking in England,
Because he might not be there.
