The Lord chose me for Himself,
Before the dawn of ages.
He asked not for my consent—
He simply said,
“You are a priest forever, as is Melchizedek.”
As I shepherd His flock,
The road grows long and weary;
At times the rains beat hard upon me,
Yet I take heart in His words:
“You are a priest forever, as is Melchizedek.”
Time has weathered my old soul,
Yet I have served with zeal.
“May I rest now, Lord?” I ask—
But He gently reminds me,
“You are a priest forever, as is Melchizedek.”
Fortunate are those blessed with a father like you,
A guide and a friend, steadfast and true;
You knew when to lift with supportive hand,
And when to let strength in silence stand.
You taught me balance—care mixed with release,
To hold my own fort, to grow in peace;
So much to learn, yet the hours are few,
From a life lived upright, noble, and true.
On your birthday, sir, my prayers take flight,
I hold you in heart, in thought, in light;
Your patient listening, gentle and kind,
Has always left hope brightly signed.
Pastor Sunday Ologure, gratitude I send,
With love that deepens and will not end;
December nineteen calls memories bright,
May your days outshine each coming light.
Though late my wishes, my love stands clear,
Life’s busy hands delayed me here;
Please take no offense—my heart speaks true:
Happy birthday in arrears, sir—much love to you.
Pow! the pale powder pumps power into
The pastor’s panicked pulse. Peeing his pants,
He pulls his parcel and pitter-patters
To the piss-pot, paying his penile penance.

We were 29, and John was 12.
We moved 2000 miles West.
John moved 60 miles North.
We had led him to Christ and took
him to church every Sunday. Like you,
we often wonder, "What ever happened to
John, or Mary, or Susan?" Far too often,
we will never know what happened to people
so very dear to us. In our case, my wife and
I never found John. John found us on Facebook.
45 years and 2000 miles separated us,
but the memories stuck to us like glue.
God and time returned us to within a
hundred miles of each other. John is
a pastor now, and I will speak at his
church next Sunday.
Fifty-year old pastor Archibald
And already the vessel is bald
Now cold not red heat would the priest scald;
Now 'irritable'when he is called...
For twenty years now A Pastor:
Would not sit on chairs denied castor;
Claims a pastor:Better Doctor,
Against every demon: Victor
Before ordination shooting star,
No speeding sprinter was faster,
His knowledge of the game vaster;
So much the case that he was master
But right now caged up by Arthritis,
Real blows exchanging with Mastitis
A time-and- again Hepatitis...
It has been growing anxieties.
The pastor had preached so long
The ministry though it was a song
But they realized
He'd been hypnotized
So, they took him to where he belonged
His self-perception as master
Has stuck like a sticky plaster
Just like Reggae to the Raster
And prized spaghetti to Pasta …
Now, ahead of our church pastor
In spreading our Christ like Castor
His knowledge of Theology Vast
His reaching of Bible Verse fast …
To many An Overlooked Star,
Because eyes do not grab The Far;
Hence, it’s been an obscurity
And a shaky security
Only in crazy dreams handshakes
With Mr. President or snakes …
True then, An Unlucky Champion
Though served Great Meals in a luncheon.

After prayer and shouting joyful noises to Jesus, I came to know He didn't mind

Messages come with unknown texts. Today, after a year, this cell updated Pastor Max, from Lenasia. I thank my LORD I didn't block his message: How are you? It felt like a family reunion, PTL
NOTE:. Pastor Max speaks Sesotho and leads the afternoon worship, Sundays at CRC, Johannesburg (CRC: Christian Revival Center, independent). Shalom shalom in our Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ

Alan Watts says we live forever
In children if we can bear
There is no joy in going on, ever
And ever as a dying tree or flower

He was a brilliant Brit, knew nirvana!
Died as American, in California
Barely making 59 years, once pastor
Presbyterian in Pennsylvania

I need to research why he quit
He was undoubtedly good at it
For faithfulness few scholars matched
His authenticity, universality. Unmatched

If you defended your purity and your Christian womanhood as you quickly defend your grown children, you would be used mightily by our Trinity (our Triune Godhead: Father Son Spirit)

A daughter in her twenties had a court interdict (protection order) against her for going to mom's boyfriend's home & compelling mom to come home. At the same time that daughter & boyfriend made out at their home almost daily when mom came from work. Mom would not allow any to criticize Emilio's affair with her daughter anyway!

The son, over 18, was threatened at gunpoint by a local dad not to "jol with my daughter." Mom went after that man, Alister.
There is a boy called Rick
who who took to hurling; with bricks'
He let loose with a low'un,
It looked like it was throw'un
And knocked pastor down into the c'rick.'
The pastor fell backward right in'
He never, had learn't quite how to swim'
He sat on his behind,
and thought wasThis a sign,
that some heathen Had targeted him?
He attempted to climb up the bank
Thinking I'd better try stopping this crank'
As he got to the top,
a girt blooming rock'
Hit him straight in the chapter and verse
Some money spilled out of that purse,
Not too thrilled And now feeling much worse,
He let out a prayer
Asking everyone there
If there was a nearby; district nurse?
