PRAYING FOR A PASTOR, CHOSEN BY GOD

Praying for a Pastor, chosen by God
Heavenly Father, we come to You, with Thanksgiving in our hearts
We come, giving You the glory, honor and praise
Putting You, Father, on the increase and us on the decrease

Praying for a Pastor, chosen by God
Father continue to bless our Pastor,man of God, with Your infinite wisdom
Keeping him focused on Your word and Your will
Using the word of God, which is truth, to guide and direct his path

Praying for a Pastor, chosen by God
Uplift him when life seems down
Continue to touch his heart and mind
Covering him with Your mercy and grace

Praying for a Pastor, chosen by God
Filling him with the Holy Spirit and discernment of Your word
Father sustain his confidence, courage and power
Lay a hedge of protection around him and his family, keeping them safe from harm

Praying for a Pastor, chosen by God
Lord bless his congregation with thy word
Using his spiritual gifts and talents
We ask these blessings in Your Son, Jesus name
