I wandered lonely and lost in a crowd
My mind wrapped in thoughts so keen to expound
The images to which my heart had bowed
Ignoring the rough noises all around
Struggling was I to find just the right word
To paint the picture I had fixed in mind
It all seemed so far fetched and absurd
Why was my harsh muse being so unkind?
I strode on in my stroll, though steeped in pain
Nothing of poetic form ever came
My struggle looked like being all in vain
Was this to be my sad moment of shame?
Then that damn block dissolved to set me free
Who was not startled by my shout of glee?
it rained
and I stayed
not to pause in remembrance
but to wash away
what grief couldn’t
it didn’t matter
that my heart was breaking
what else could it do?
you lie beneath ten feet of dirt
after the slow battle
cancer claimed
and I disappear a little more
each day
healing is a dream
it lives in the stars
or in a glass jar on the mantle
healing
that’s for time to deal with
if I can’t hold your hand one last time
or tell you everything I forgot to say
then time is pointless
right now
rain drowns my sorrow
it stings my skin
and gets in my eyes
no need for tears
but tomorrow
shall start the pain
all over again
and this rain
will be waiting for me
I listened to love for years, still feeling the pain.
Pulling back the cover, crying out in vain.
Silenced, I feel the pressure on my heart.
The truth belongs to yesterday, I didn’t feel it start.
Polarity showed up tonight in the small white pill resting in my palm—assurance and biological impedance within the same small shape. My endocrinologist believes taking it will rebuild my bone's density, coaxing my body to better use protein, collagen, and various minerals in places where time and age have thinned my bone's structure. But the pill brings its own polarity: it promises stronger bones even as a wave of morning-sickness nausea steals my comfort. Still, I take it, gratitude and resentment settling side by side in my heart. I’ve come to realize that sometimes polarity isn’t abstract. It’s real as real can be with me coping with two opposing truths coexisting.
white stone of healing~
a tide pulls both ways inside,
moor and undertow
I have forgotten the Language of love,
I have sought for guidance from above,
Professed my love now without rewards,
My heart is crossed by swords.
No one helps or bares witness
Not a promise of forgiveness,
Time passes by seasons,
I flirt with my demons.
Pain in my heart
Love doesn’t bother me. Never. I am afraid
My demonic life is sensitive, frozen in heart
No, can’t live this—horrific everything. Lady
Poison. I want to be healthy. Stay, be a pain
Lady. Woman. My suffering heart. No need
You are a criminal. My walk. Wood. Hoped
I need ice. From your heart. Just a touch
I apologise, just, field, past, hope, our life
Life, I needed. Put me in the dark. Death
Best life. Be a shadow. A dropped. A pain
My dark. Just be. Our existence. The night
Hoped. Hoped. The hands, the hugs. Heart
I can’t stand
Can’t
Can’t
To live
I am sorry
For you
Without
Hmm
Pain in my heart
Still loving you
My Heart Is A Secret Garden,
where love and pain live and hide.
Love finds pretty flowers blooming,
as the bright sun peeks over the hill.
The love that fills my heart and soul,
coming from the many who love me,
The pain from the rose thorns that prick my being,
from those who want to hurt me.
Oh yes, my heart is a a secret garden,
exploring life and what it has to give.
Deep ache in my heart lies
A sorrowful shade spreads in all nooks of my room
Hot tears rise
The sun shines bright
Still my life is filled with deep gloom
Upright,
My plight
Vouchsafed to doom`s
Blight
Deep ache in my heart lies
Still my life is filled with deep gloom
Blight
from the limpid pools
of your eyes, sad streams run down
through your hollowed cheeks —
quivering, shaking, breaking
every fibre of your heart .
when you smile at me
I watch the curve of your lips
as they part to speak-
then I heed the sad whispers
of a torn, grief-stricken heart.
my heart is burning
at the thought of a farewell.
we are just pilgrims~
meeting to part in this world
heading to an unknown spot.
That night you left,
the rain came with a pelt—
an abyss in my heart,
a curse you placed from the start.
Hurt words, hurt heart, hurt soul—
an emotional toll
I buried deep
in hope our marriage to keep.
And with courage sparked,
I kicked you out in the dark
on a night wild with anger,
for the two of you to tangle.
And yet as soon as I did,
my heart bid
a return—
Has the lesson been learned?
The pelting turned to a cyclone warning,
heaven and earth aligning.
The whole world erupts to send me a message:
going back was not the right passage?
I woke in the morning to a daughter exclaiming,
“The cyclone was pushed back—
no longer on track.”
To a reframing of my life...
Until next time.

Suffused with diffused glint
of my love at sunset,
you faded like twilight
in fallen stormy sky.
Angst thunder broke my heart,
the splinters sighed in pain,
cracked voice echoed in void.
I got lost coming home tonight
To my surprise, the room was empty
You were not there, sweetie
The bed was made and the floor was bright.
I miss you, I miss you dearly
The room was very cold and sad
Like a lover who’s desperate and mad
Frankly, my heart felt weak and empty.
Your shadow was absent
Your silhouette was inexistent
You were not present in the room.
One can effortlessly hear a domestic silence
Which was afraid to bother the broom
I’m lost again. I lost my common sense.

"In life we learn from love, hurts, mistakes and from the ones we have trusted." By Poet
My heart once held love overflowing,
joy was bursting at the seams and glowing.
That was before you came along,
you did me so very wrong.
Filling my loving heart with pain,
I will never do this again.
Now I will guard my hurt and empty heart,
you have made me very smart.
No more bad words and lies,
for now I have become wise.
your claws rake my face
your teeth put holes in my skin
your hate breaks my heart
you inflicted pain on me
you called this your love for me
Maybe one day, my pain will go away
Maybe one day, I’ll feel the healing someday
Maybe One Day
Maybe one day, the bad memories will flee
Maybe one day, my thoughts will be stress free
Maybe One Day
Maybe one day, my heart will not hurt anymore
Maybe one day, it will be filled up with amor
Maybe One Day
Maybe one day, the scars of life will fade away the wounds
Maybe one day, my cry’s will conclude
Maybe One Day
