Outpour Poems | Examples

In the time of martyrs

My heart is racked with so much pain
For one who garnered admiration and disdain
A man whose love for country did outpour
A man who loved his Savior more
His values went against the grain
He stood all that’s moral and sane
His calling? To proclaim the truth
To ignorant and misguided youth
He taught God’s love and never hate
But his political incorrectness sealed his fate
A fiend of hate from the party of love
Was ready to kill when push came to shove
He far too evil to agree to disagree
So he shot Kirk dead before his family.
From the party of love came nothing but cheers
Validation, threats, mockery, and jeers
Because tolerant is a wonderful thing to be
Lest it is a truth for which you disagree
But what can you expect these days in the West
Where only degenerates truly know best?
Where the only approved speech is shibboleth
And penalty for speaking the truth is death
Farbeit that Kirk will die for naught
There is still a holy war to be fought
No matter the cost, I will be brave
For the only place for the righteous is the grave.

Clear water serenely waves
                towards the shore
In your hands you hold a book
                filled with Mystical secrets
and as the sun goes down,
                         you read on
 as the sky quietly turns
                            from pink to crimson
                     over the calming blue sea...
Rushing waterfalls
                  gush forth
                  from a tall silent mountain
         an outpour of water,
right into the open mouth of the sea.

You sit on the sand,
                 lifting your hands
                       to heaven,
folded in a Padmasana position
                    wisdom arrives
        at your heart's door...

Hate not the clouds that roar;
Feel happy, seeing their outpour!
Glare not at the chisels that cut you hard;
Mind, they turn you into the idols of high regard!

caught in the same gale force winds
they eyed the storm drenched in tears
the epicenter had been an outpour
of sadness rejection and unresolved fear
to weather inevitable flood gates of change

torrential delusions of anger denial and fear
shadowed by a solar eclipse of two lost souls
faced the same need for healing and love

all self-appointed weather men and women
family and friends surrounded them in scepsis
warnings unwanted advice and discouragement

can you not see the hurricane brewing they said
do not get involved but save your own skins
but they walked quietly to the next beach
drew a line in the sand and entered the tides
propelled by the moon passion desire togetherness

circumstances seemed apocalyptic and hopeless
yet faith made them swim out into the ocean
not to silence the wicked prophets of doom but
to bathe in salt water cleansing the mis-adventurous past

despite all odds they floated happily on the surface
all they could see was adoration and the miracle of life
one with themselves and with each other in peace

Pearly gust strewn across the aisles
An outpour glistening the view,
its trickling dash jiggles on boughs
As pitter-patters kiss my wet cheeks!
And cloudburst spills more potpourri,
that on one early April shower

I pirouette with moistened earth's new
garlands--
toes naked tapping a bubbly Congo dance
A merry and primal ritual that refreshes
this weary soul:
An unrehearsed movement ensues, a dribble
of showers tosses my hair as I gayly scream
a belly laughter!

O could I care less? In the thrill of
petrichor, my essence flies in wonderment

channeling this four year -old kid
awakening within!

Pain Harbor

After heavy rain
I see outpour of teardrops
Harboring the pain.

Ecstasy of love

The love that was hidden beneath the pain
                    Started to outpour
And somehow connected telepathically to the beloved
Knowing two bodies are apart
But the souls are merging continuously
That tender kisses of tears flowing from eyes
Hoping that the time of separation flies

Celebrate All Week Long

Celebrate all week long, let your spirit soar,
His goodness and mercy, forever outpour.
All life long, His faithfulness holds true,
With grace and mercy, as He walks beside you.

The waters are stirring, with healing embrace,
Miracles flowing, transforming lives and pace.
Rolling mountains bear witness to His majesty so grand,
As His out stretched arms create treasures untold.

All things are possible, with Him by your side,
He will never fail, nor abandon you from His sight.
Signs and wonders will follow you, His gifts unfold,
As heavens display His glory untold.

As governmental mantles fall, surrender your sight,
For His wisdom is behind you, in every arrow's flight.
With focused attention, aim true and steadfast,
He will guide your shoot, ensuring you get the bullseye.

But, dear soul, in this new season to prevail,
Learn to shoot moving targets below their mark,
As the Lord directs, let your arrows gather speed
In celebration, see His mercy enduring indeed.

Temperate gold buds, untrimmed, lease heaven,
In the wake of an avarice moment,
The grandeur Laurentian Abyss, she came.
Love witnessed a desire being potent,
Her hair the color of passionate heat,
Trailed sparks in the carved vale of the Abyss,
She brought the ardor of men their defeat,
And vanquished hearts with her outpour of bliss.
Genteel tasks in her liquefied domain,
Her expressed lured eyes left their thoughts to wane,
From Neptune Masiff, left many in vain,
The heights alone made the challenge, a strain.
Abyss turned Masiff, mermaid of pardon,
Her laughter championed her trust wanton.

I would be honored, to be by your side
To walk next to you, with nothing to hide
All heads would turn at the beauty that is
Passing before them, they'd know that she's his
I would want it to be that way every day
Do all things together, no more to say
I want you to be with me, love would outpour
And I want to be with you forevermore

of seeds strewn in existence
blossoming at their own pace
all we do is outpour compassion
being the only real substance
that steers souls toward light
ever aflame within all hearts

Premium Member Misfit

we are a misfit
for we live internally
even friends cannot relate
to musings we express
and the way we feel

we walk alone

from idle banter
we read the unsaid
and outpour out healing love
we wish fellow souls well
more so adversaries

we walk alone

bliss energised form
magnetic thunder within
feeling God's breath enlivening
head-heart-soul aligned
divine flame burns

we walk alone

Love Is

Love is transparency in feeling
That I am safe and secure,
Not in pride nor jealousy reeling
But trusting ever so sure.

Maybe there's foolish error
But love gently will show,
With no critical terror,
Nor judgement to know.

It's choosing the right time
But being willing to wait
Even exhausted will help the climb
Lightening up the fate.

So you can sing with joy
They brighten up a room.
You thrill as with a toy,
Drive away the gloom.

Love is all this and more,
God's rich blessing on it,
His grace and peace outpour!
Love is all this and a bit.

Premium Member Point To Ponder

Point to ponder

Can we not let go
hope for an echo?
Why not love outpour,
whilst keeping no score?

Domino effect,
an ego defect,
veiling light of soul,
as we play life’s role.
