True highbrows can't hear commoner's pleas
Stuck sitting on their swanky settees
Status fades as affluence recedes
I'd prefer pink orchids if you please

Elitists applaud wealthy reprise
Fake posers deceive masses with ease
Think that they deserve all that they seize
So send purple orchids if you please

Fools imagine themselves on marquees
Those who would toss it all to the breeze
Who can't

Orchid blooms in soothing light, 
New year's hope shining so bright.

Elegant petals unfold, 
As hopes and dreams take strong hold. 

Their fragrance, gentle perfume, 
Bringing joy as the year blooms. 

In this new year start we find, 
Beauty and growth intertwined.
 
A year of promise and cheer, 
Orchids swish, "Happy New Year!"

Gliding at gardens and forests wild
Passersby touch or pick-- all beguiled.

Bunches in lobe petals  bloom so bright
Like fairries' earrings worn day and night
I’m madly in love with each hue of these flowers
I’ll get them all for you my love and offer.

The purple orchid seemed flawed
At first glance, twisting yet not ugly
Like an artist who ruins a canvas
In distracted strokes of purple
In a quest to reach out to a sunset
Appearing unworthy of a second glance
Bearing the brunt of his twisted strokes
Till the restless night is broken by the dawn
Producing the most spectacular bloom
Complex and yet mysterious

Royalty with the epitome of beauty
Inspired
Enchanted by mysticism
A nice morning for a stroll
Surrounded by heavenly fragrant orchids
Sipping tea mid afternoon
Watching the sunset
Vibrant colors
Soft violet hues tinted throughout the horizon
A perfect picture view frozen in time
Night arrives a balmy breeze
Moonlight beams and a magical moment

Dancing in the moonlight with my exquisite orchid
An everlasting love awaits
