Premium Member Ode To My Cat Tom

As a young child my mind goes back to Tom,
a pure dark gray old tom cat.
We went visiting in the town next door,
when Tom took up with me.
The neighbors said,
they had never seen him before.
We took him home,
giving him a bath then food and milk.
I dressed him up in my doll clothes,
then gave him a baby bottle of cold milk.
Tom was my real baby doll disguised as a cat,
and he loved it.
We both had many wonderful hours of fun,
as Tom got extra rubs with cold milk.

Premium Member - My Cat A Skein With Love -

The joys you brought into the home
A little silver-gray skein - soft and warm
Raspberry tongue and jade green eyes
I believe that you are exceptional -
nothing more, nothing less
You are a door opener, to inner feelings

There will always be hands to pat you
feed you and nurse your wounds
In the reflection room, threads are woven
of future dreams
A long earthly journey of discovery
with life-giving energies

Premium Member My Cat Moonbeam

I just saw the most dangerous thing I had ever seen.
Want to guess what it was I asked my cat, Moonbeam.
A giant with feet the size of a museum or a store?
Think bigger my friend, think wilder and more.

Moonbeam is no slacker, she fired off ideas left and right.
A gremlin, a goblin, a panther, a tiger slinking around in the night?
Give up? I asked her, hoping she would.
But this cat can guess for days, as only a tabby could.

No! She yelped at me, patting down my tummy.
Don’t be ridiculous! You know you’re not funny!
She guessed devils, the undead, the Stay Puff Marshmallow man.
No one can guess like this pussy can.

I finally yelled it out, for I have no attention span.
A kitty with a cannon, he’s mowing down people all over the land.
Oh, that’s my cousin, Zeke, I’ll tell him to spare you, she said.
Now I would be sure to keep her happy and aptly fed.

Premium Member An Ode to My Cat

Kitty cat, your eyes glowed in pitch darkness
Like two emeralds set on a black foil.
You paced restlessly across the doorway,
With your tail curled at your back like a coil.

The night was still and not a leaf fluttered.
In your sharp ears fell the faint sound,
Of the nuzzling of fledglings in a nest.
Agile and alert you looked around.

Sensing, there was chance to spot a prey,
Following the trail of that faint sound,
Down you slid along the steep wall.
In a nest, three birdies on a small tree, you found.

Bare of plumage, they were like pieces of flesh
And too young for fight or flight
Their mother had sadly flown away
Never expecting them to be in any sad plight

You poised, rising on your hind legs.
With claws sharp, you got ready for the kill.
The fledglings yielded to your needle like claws
And in a second, all was silent and still.

The Death of My Cat

The death of my cat
is grander than my entire life,

And his very first cry
is stronger than my very first love.

Look upon this, O humans—
Your grand sorrows are, after all,
nothing but mere footprints
beneath the soft jelly of his paws.

My Cat JOKO

Ode to Joko
keeps gazing at me , with her calm deep eyes as if she wishes to say something. In my house, it feels as she keeps me as her own She acts as a balm on my untold wounds.
She does not shower me with affection,
yet some times feel like ,
she takes care of me.
With great pride
and her graceful, carefree walk,
she rules the entire house
as though she is its queen,
and I exist only in her service.
When I go near her
and she is not in the mood,
she becomes annoyed
and quietly goes away
to sit alone in solitude.
It feels as though she is calling me
into her free and untamed world,
teaching me
what freedom truly feels like.
As if she is saying—
life gives us only a little time together,
so always live with your head held high
She is my Cat JOKO

Premium Member - Ode To Lucas My Cat -

A cat is a cat, you might say.
But my orange cat Lucas, is undoubtedly unique.
  His fur has black stripes,
he looks as a little tiger.

  A lively and curious cat
  with a special personality.
Homemade sushi, is his favorite meal.
Lucas, enjoys life and expresses a lot of joy.
Stretches and rolls around on my lap
  ... I scratch his belly,
  it's clear that he's pleased.

Lucas rightly bears his name, "bringer of light".

My cat paced the fish tank, and the gold fish
And when I turned my back, she got her wish
On her tiptoes, she dove in
There's a splash and a big grin
She struck a nerve, Goldie, and my anguish

a quick leap, a pounce,
her paws catch a gentle bird
my eyes with tears flounce.

My Cat Companion CM

My feline friend
I can depend
On your soft purr

To comfort me
With melody
And striped fur

You say 'meow'
And I know how
To fall in love

With eye contact
We've made a pact
You're from above

You rest your charm
Upon my arm
We fall asleep

Of all the things
That happy brings
It's you I'll keep

What Does My Cat Want to Talk About?

If my cat could find her voice,
What would she choose to say?
Would she talk about the birds outside,
Or the sunlight on her favorite place to lie?
Perhaps she’d mention breakfast time,
And how she loves treats.
Or tell the tale of midnight zooms,
Racing silently on invisible feet.
Maybe she’d ask about my day,
Then curl up on my knee.
Her gentle purrs a question mark,
“Are you as happy here as me?”
So, until she learns to speak aloud,
I’ll listen as best I can.
In every nuzzle, blink, and meow,
My cat tells me she understands.

Premium Member Ode To My Cat Stormy

Ode to my cat Stormy
She is my alarm clock
Waking me earl
When she hears the plough
To clear the deep snow

She jumps on my bed
Looks out the window
To see what is there
Then jumps to the floor
To lay on my be

Stormy makes me laugh
She makes me smile
She cheers me up
When I am upset
Stormy is vocal

Stormy announces
Everywhere she goes
She meowed loudly
She was in the basement
She was in darkness

I followed her sound
She was telling me
She was in darkness
I went down the stairs
I turned on the lights

I went downstairs
I saw her pawing
For a favourite toy
That was out of reach
To reach for her toy

My Cat

My cat slinks inside,
He sits on my foot and purrs,
I am his pet now!

Premium Member My Cat, My Pet

My cat is everybody’s darling pet.
from all, she Yearns a gentle pat.
none Can hate her, I shall bet.
At night, she wanders like a bat.
by nature, she is quite cool,
but don’t Take her to be a fool.
My love she Yearns, has a Pair of gleaming Eyes,
they are of The shade of blue skies.
at night, everywhere she wanders.
when at rest, closing her eyes, she ponders.

My cat can’t be happy

Ok God hear it is
I spent eons perfecting an animal that cares about nothing I call it a……Cat
Gabriel beams as he places it gently in Gods lap

Could you please remove it
It is making a weird noise
and is constantly nipping me with its claws

Sorry your Lordness
Gabriel lifted the cat from his maker

Before we begin the test
I hope this is better than your last attempts
What was it again….God stroked his head
Yes the Dodo
The duck filled platypus
Oh and let’s not forget the humans

So …., shifting back on her throne…..test 1
Obey your maker
Come here……his finger pointing just beside her feet
The cat drew its eyes and darted off in chase of some flickering light

Okay good start…but let’s not celebrate too soon
Gabriel

Her me Cat sit
she sat transfixed by the cat
as it curled itself into a donut and fell asleep he glanced at Gabriel………very impressive

The cat leapt from its prone position
It jerks in juxtaposition with its grunts
Finally ending its exorcism in a matted tuft of regurgitated fur
