Notes About The Poem

Curious cat and goldfish

My Cat Rains On Goldies Parade

Raining Cats & Dogs Poetry Contest
Christopher Delegans

My cat paced the fish tank, and the gold fish
And when I turned my back, she got her wish
On her tiptoes, she dove in
There's a splash and a big grin
She struck a nerve, Goldie, and my anguish
