My feline friend
I can depend
On your soft purr
To comfort me
With melody
And striped fur
You say 'meow'
And I know how
To fall in love
With eye contact
We've made a pact
You're from above
You rest your charm
Upon my arm
We fall asleep
Of all the things
That happy brings
