A Moonlit Night

The peeping stars steal
the winning smiles of the moon
at the earth draped in its gilt,
like a pen takes control of heavy minds.
Midnight hours stroll
in the murmuring silence of the crickets,
like faint leaves in autumn end
strewn on shriveled pathways; or atoms of
unused talent in the bare furrows of mind.
Fireflies like vagabonds spark
the chillness of the night,

Murmuring Moments

Water runs deep, bridges bend high, the mist-my endless sigh.

Murmuring Heart

murmurs of  heart

      'imbibing  dreamy  desires  with  serenity' :  heart  murmurs  to  soul .

Murmuring Together

water........pebbles
wind............clouds
grass..rabbit
fog..........................river
trees.....forest
dog............cow
snow.....rain
butterfly.............flower
bird.........sky
and
you me.

Keep Murmuring Like the Israelites

Curses not heard by the closest ears,
Speaker source a bundle of cold fears,
On his alert skin trembling hairs:
They would not fail to seize all his wares...

He has heard his neighbors grunts and cries:
Whines which leave wet eyes and cheeks one dries
Not much Alan can do, if he phones
But neither much help is sure from moans

The Mire of Murmuring

Complaining, complaining
That is all you do!
Refraining, refraining  
From the flow of negativity!
You have caused a river of pessimism 
To enhance the essence of your life
The alignment of your words to the circumstances of life
Will shelter an unbearable image 
That will put you in a cage!
The mire of murmuring
Has created a wire around your life!
Negative

Murmuring Zone

He got a death ticket
for standing in the murmuring zone
An unwritten casualty statistic
was fatally issued 
for belatedly standing there too long

Asphalt caught, he waved the white flag
of an enamel obedient grin
In fidgety hope that a routine hassle 
didn’t turn flatline wrong,
felt baton-induced 
to cheek meekly lay prone

But a swastika command
curse-slapped 
his bleating heart cuff firm
Impending

Murmuring and Muttering

M and M ...
bitter chocolate Exodus groaning
Desert vile hope
melting in the fetter-free hands
Wilderness wandering lust ... Egyptian longing
Some wanting to shortly shackle return
to the chains of long captivity
Be slave pawns in Pharaoh’s wicked plans,
such a reprobate pity
M and M 
death yearnings — 
The Living God,
those err tomb walkers chose to withstand 
Murmuring ...
desiring evil, carnal

Murmuring Memories

Water means some memories 
Some sweet and some bitter 
Without any stoppage which flow 
Murmuring like a gust of wind 
For a moment if I close my eyes 
I sink into an unfathomable deep of time 
In the stream of an ocean hissing me up around 
In the middle of multitudes I never ever felt

A Murmuring Brook

A murmuring brook of love songs runs along my life's path
every night I go near it and let my heart take a bath.

O, the Murmuring Waves

I abandon my struggle, withdraw myself totally,
     into the bottomless abyssal waters of the ocean;
Floating, borne along the currents, alone and adrift,
               the never ending battle with life withers away.

       

The Murmuring of a Traveler

Once when I was kept in the safest column
 He was already standing beside my mother's womb
 Whispering me lullaby
 And I was happy
 
Before I walk my day
 He was already standing in the doorway
 Packing me provisions so I could make it through the day
 I said 'Where are we going?'
 He said

my skin cringed
to see your eyes 
watery
and thin
foolish me
to think you would speak to me
aqain
i thought you should
speak aqain
i wait 
and waited
and i am waiting
to see if you let another murmur escape

Murmuring Softly

I didn’t hear any murmuring.
Thank God Vivek had to do it for me
We were “functionally incapacitated” as they say
