weeping on a lea
speaking in sotto voce
I am the spring rain...
whispering to the flowers
murmuring soft to the trees
Let the murmuring rain
slice through the withering leaves,
like slender silver needles
and stitch the Earth's quiet wounds.
life is a piano
white days near black days
hot fingers
cold fingers
the death
always in the background
murmuring a lullaby
When the time comes
Stand-in waits in the wings
Practicing lines, murmuring inaudibly
For time to become
Born off a tragedy
murmuring voices disturbed thoughts
meaningless whispers distracted dreams
music of mind cut into pieces measured
god is talking to me they dont believe

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN
A MURMURING BUZZ
SPREAD THROUGH THE HIVE
THE RISING, HUMMING SOUND OF
“LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!”

stream
lazy, lyrical
flowing, nurturing, murmuring
green ,blue ,clean, cool
meandering, drifting, dreaming
soft, subtle
dream
Quit brimming like an oil lamp,
and roast me dry,
Quit murmuring like a lonely river,
and sink me whole,
body and soul,
in this storm that` s in your eyelid.
tribute to a departed soul
as protocol demands
a forum to connect
with relatives and friends
murmuring insincere nothings
oblivious to the widow’s tears
In my fantasies I hold you close in my loving arms
Your murmuring lips capture mine and take me to another place
The morning sun kisses my cheek and I am empty again
I didn’t hear any murmuring.
Thank God Vivek had to do it for me
We were “functionally incapacitated” as they say

Oh! beautiful endless
flowing calmly heavenly rhythm of water,
steady murmuring of tree leaves' sound, I wonder
that's a divine godly music in order.
I'm no longer restless.

Unfamiliar flag,
It's up and down
Today I saw it
Weeping on its knees.
Murmuring students
Hold tears, someone
Else is dead again
The university mourns.
Death, why in our abundance
Is your harvest so rich?
Form:
Softly playing, nature’s guitar strumming
Feelings blessed by such abundant hues
Hints of blue and blush, softly humming
Murmuring to the wind who’ll choose
To light the forest’s muse in joy so becoming
my skin cringed
to see your eyes
watery
and thin
foolish me
to think you would speak to me
aqain
i thought you should
speak aqain
i wait
and waited
and i am waiting
to see if you let another murmur escape
You're a song that my heart keeps singing
Mostly after midnight when only the loneliest of birds still call
I'm answered in the whisper of night air
and a choir of crickets
While I sit murmuring softly to myself on the front steps
Brilliant gold, sunlight streaming
Creeping leisurely ‘cross my bed
Filtering through the blue/white voile
Soft lips murmuring- beautiful smile breaking
Sleepy eyes flutter - open
Blink….hmm...left over delicious dream!
Tangled puzzled thoughts
Like thirsty roots seek solace
By liquid waters
Murmuring serenity
Flowing to eternity

I hear the leaves whisper
on a breath of breeze.
August-sun glows like
honey on toast.
What are the sweet words of the leaves?
What do the trees gossip and sing?
Last night they were still.
Now, a rumour is murmuring...Spring.

The Tigris and Euphrates,
they flow like time,
murmuring and sighing
and running their individual courses,
cradling Mesopotamia,
their land,
in life,
and flooding the plain in alluvial soil,
for cities to put down deep roots,
the wonder of humanity.

Dactyls are metrical
Feet that are named after
Fingers with three little
Parts like the knuckles that
Lie in a pattern of
Stress like these sentences:
'Jealously murmuring
Elephants quietly
Sob in their handkerchiefs.'
Feet that are fingers -
How odd!
Melody of robins in concert
Murmuring of brooks when falling
The joy of bells ringing morning
Would pale at the sound of her voice
adorable
