Orbs of Multiplication
Villanelle
They spin in stillness, glowing without sound
A rhythm bred from ancient breath and light
The orbs emerge where quiet truths are found
From void to voice, their pulses wheel around
Invisible, yet birthing second sight
They spin in stillness, glowing without sound
No measure binds the math that keeps them bound
They bloom between what’s wrong and what feels right
The orbs emerge where quiet truths are found
In spiral logic, silence is profound
And wisdom burns in geometric flight
They spin in stillness, glowing without sound
Beyond all form, where sacred laws confound
They multiply in luminous delight
The orbs emerge where quiet truths are found
Now write this truth in symbol, curve, and sound
A dream ignites in crystalline midnight
They spin in stillness, glowing without sound
The orbs emerge where quiet truths are found

Home is the place to be,
Except for mess, you see,
Woke up, my hair's a mess,
Fat hips a mess, I confess,
Craft den's a mess,
Home office mess bless,
Clutter made this clutter,
Simple swearing I do utter,
Went to sit in the sun,
Weeds making their own fun,
Mess multiplication,
Seed proliferation,
My brain's stinking thinking,
Into mess I've been sinking,
I sat down to laugh,
God bless mess and chaff,
Home is the best,
Despite all this mess!

Sometimes I think if we had paid better attention to basic math
it would be easier to follow our hearts….
and the Earth would be one whole…
instead of broken into parts.
I imagine in elementary school we could not contemplate
the importance of basic math in terms of love and hate.
Even now I have to wonder: as to what might be your reaction
when I tell you love and hate come down to simple addition and subtraction?
I draw your attention to those math lessons…the ones on basic facts…
Love as a plus…adds beauty to the world
Hate, as a minus…subtracts.
And if I may take a moment to extend this view, this perception…this vision
love and hate also relate…to multiplication…and division.
Hate divides us, it tears people apart…
it separates us by color, shape and size
Love brings us together…
it accumulates…it multiplies.
Perhaps some of us should go back to school and re-learn our basic facts
because until their connection to love and hate…we are all able to see
The Earth will remain only a fraction…
of the whole Earth she was created to be.

We serve a great God,
Who is on our side,
Be the flag, others can watch,
Be the banner, others can follow,
God is giving us a new posture,
New wings to fly over challenges,
To hit the marks that we missed,
During the last season,
Setting up to a new level of greatness,
Bringing back revelation,
That has never been heard,
Releasing an eye for warring,
You will know the timing,
New assignments,
You will unlock things,
Things not unlocked before,
The blueprint of Heaven,
Coming down,
Exploration in dark places,
Will be your portion,
New things are coming,
Open your mouth, your breath will be,
Stronger than the dragon's fire,
Consuming with the fire of destiny,
Multiplication of the next season sure,
Let us glorify our Lord,
He will give us a great reward!

We are all navigating through life!
We are all growing in different ways!
Since, money is the root of all evil.
Use money to bless the needy!
Be knitted with family and friends
When one is weak, the other is strong
When both are weak, He is stronger!
Remember God is our primary source!
He is our solution and righteous judge!
He knows our inner most thoughts!
He knows the plans He has for us!
Since we all err and miss it in life
Having a teachable, correctable spirit
Will unlock the chained gates
Cause things to rebloom in our lives!
For the pure in heart will see Him
For those who have His heart
Will see Him! So, Rejoice!
For extraordinary multiplication
Of grace is coming our way!
Be Bold! Be Triumphant!
Get ready for the double portion!
Wear the new mantle for this season
With grace and multiplication!

Student A brings in simplification.
Student B goes to Perth for a much needed vacation.
Student C votes for classroom unification.
Teacher has lost it, and wants participation.

No more spelling tests the principal said.
The teachers were confused. Why?
It is not fun. We only do things that entertain them now.
That was five years ago.
The eight year olds cannot spell.
During standardized tests they want us to tell them the words.
We are not allowed to do it.
They get angry.
They are not used to hearing no.
We ask them to memorize their multiplication tables.
They send their parents up to threaten a law suit.
We back down, showing them what to do next time.
The school system is failing the youngsters of today.
The parents are not requiring any chores.
Youth is crying out for direction and discipline.

Dampen talk in a hesitant time
Uncertainties of a procrastinating hour
Where life goes on … and on...and on
With some obvious happenings of the inevitable
Blemish talk only highlights the stigma of a stagnation
Where neither you nor I are able to be someone
Other than only living in a life of necessity
Those pernicious happenings go on with
the description of a disaster. With a lot of
Repetition of a traverse, repentant mind
Where we are blocked with
A roadblock and a sentry,
Always alternating,
Always calculating
The ingredients of laughter
Ambivalence is a residual reality
of the heavily guarded possibility
Still, there is love, there is a poem,
And there is a visage of heavenly affection
With an astral temptation of life,
Garnishing more and more along with;
Perhaps an enterprise of goodliness. With the
Threatening math multiplying the powerful zero.

Be fruitful and multiply”—
great advice, for a fruitfly!
But for women and men,
simple Simons, say, “WHEN!”

Trying to fall asleep in Spring,
I found the trick of counting sheep,
Grazing in flocks and wandering,
Could not succeed in bringing sleep,
Following one another too,
Bleating meanwhile, and eyeing me,
They sauntered by, as all sheep do:
I watched them, counting patiently.
In Spring’s lush pastures so sublime,
It seemed that every flock would grow,
Filling the fields at lambing time,
In numbers more than I could know,
No rest would come, no pillowed bliss:
I saw there was no end to this.

When will I need
Multiplication?
Why waste my day on it?
When will I need
This long division?
Why are we doing this?
I do not need
Spelling or writing
That’s your job, isn’t it?

A fit is thrown at the mere suggestion that they have to memorize something.
Memorization is boring.
They refuse.
What is the point?
We have the Internet.
We have I-pads.
We have I-phones.
We do not have spelling lists any more.
Spelling tests are passé’. Too boring. Too much memorization.
What is the point?
Math facts? Why should we learn them? They are on the Internet, right?
Our standardized tests scores are in the toilet. Who cares? As long as we can play our nightly video games. We do not have to read for many of them.
Multiplication tables? Overdone.
Addition facts? Useless.
Dictionary? Fiction-ary.
Children of today will not be able to write a sentence or spell a word or check their paychecks
If technology goes down. We can say we are paying them $500 an hour, and pay them $3 an hour.
It is the way of the future, and is this not grand?

A dish issue is whether the verb forms a series of events containing two or three ingredients. Ingredients are often officially interesting when placed. And material such as Velcro is very very useful when balancing on a widespread bed of crockery. Well cook then. Worldy worldwide without waste. And a hare is never a problem when hopping through an abyss. Calibres of officialdom. Wow. No problem at a beach house and home and away for the weekend is fine but the other side of the United Methodist Church is the name of the first place of worship. Oh dare one meet a jackdaw in a cardboard car. Or a ministerial monkey. Holidaying hopping hippies have havens. And bend not over a crevasse as dangers stem from rock. And blades spawn from spacial secrets. Secretary then. A portly lady humming. Hahahaha and now a salty dew. Hahahaha and an additional android arguing. Hahahaha dare to swim with the dog. *** multiplication z

Limerick multiplication : Once an optimistic Optician
for Elodie
Once an optimistic Optician
Looked deep into her Client’s vision
Saw worlds unknown to her
And lost her way back here
Client left her in utter confusion
or
Client left but stark pessimism
or
Now straddles acute astigmatism
or
Now suffers from divided attention
or
Now has gone on a mystic mission
or
Optician and Client in mutation
or
Now both revel in sacred damnation
or
Client made Optician eye donation
or
Now both sell eye-drops in collusion
or
Now Client gives Optician eye lotion
or
Now Client gives lessons in eye motion
or
Optician gives Client sole solution
or
Client then rubs Optician in the shin
or
Optician then throws Client in the bin.

When Noah gathered creatures pair by pair
In a barge ready to face the rough storm
Giraffe and wife joined a sail to nowhere;
As waters growled high, till moon grew deformed
With nothing to frolic with, amidst the flood
Giraffes delighted in hush of ashen dark
Mating frequently on arc's trodden halls.
New animals born, how can they embark
And others followed despite bold rainfalls
The Lord shocked, watching full procreation
Said He, “ I forgot this extra supply
Count the babes ,while I slow the sea’s motion,
Why did I say, go forth and multiply?”
