Alphonse Mucha a Czech
his paintings easy to detect
So distinctive & stylized
even prints now valued &prized
In school when I was being raised
the role models who then were praised
were the American icons—
George Washington, “I cannot tell a lie”
Honest Abe, a straight-shooting kind of guy
Later we heard Jimmy Carter testify
“I’ll never tell a lie …”
For my generation and prior
they raised the bar higher
Honesty was the best policy
That was then
This is now …
When caught in a lie
deny
When accusations resound
double down
When proof’s presented
get inventive
When they continue to confront
cry witch-hunt
When they accuse you of a crime
deflect each time
When they bring more claims
call them demeaning names
over and over
and over and
over and over
and over again
Nothing to lose
You may even win …
But lying is still a sin
Best to extol the role model
who always gets it right
(then and now)
Jesus — ‘The way, the truth, the life!’

AI is the ultimate plagiarist
mimicking patterns in human devised data.
Its models needs training on high quality data,
billions and billions of bits and bytes
of high-quality human derived thoughts and information.
But, AI output, with its hallucinations and flaws,
now has begun to flood into the data sources themselves.
Just like inbreeding,
the training becomes regurgitative,
feeding off its own output recycled.
With no way to tell the difference
between original and AI derived stuff,
the models become dumber and dumber
as each model learns from the previous one.
Rehashing the trash, disgorging, re-eating its own sick.
AI is its own Tower of Babel, the omniscient fountain of all insight, capable of all and anything, is fundamentally flawed and inbred.
AI is destined to become a rabble,
a Babel babble, incoherent, useless flotsam and jetsam.
Role models they are, guiding lights so bright,
In their footsteps, I find my own path, day and night.
A man of food, a culinary passion I hold dear,
Nourishing souls with flavors that bring cheer.
Brilliancy and intelligence, they're not achieved alone,
Books and food, the foundations they've shown.
Egbon Oniwe, books are vital, knowledge they bring,
But food also sustains, a vital part of everything.
As
Love shines
Our hearts in
The World mostly,
Some bad people keep
Seing the fruits of Holy
Spirit daily and change their
Lives... I mean being role models
Of other people who don't believe
In Lord Christ Jesus our only Saviour.
The one who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. Those who walk alone are likely to find themselves in places no one has ever seen before." -. (Quote by Albert Einstein)
Shaped models are made
for an art gallery show,
where to be unique
for somebody to like us
among the difficult crowd
Now it's May...as in 'Month Merry'
We look outside and see it's very
Bright and warm and dry and can
With confidence those flights we'll plan!
We'll dust off winders, and wind rubber
Or fire up engines too long dormant
Props then will throw air in torrents
So our builds go up and forward!
Young birdlings will soon fledge and fly
Our builds will join them in the sky!
He walks with a limp, dog in tow,
lives on streets, 'neath an azure sky
says, "Morning," with smiles as he goes
Wears logo, "Like you, I could fly."
but people compartmentalize.
He's one of the derelict crowd,
some say they must be disallowed.
Kindness calls us to contemplate
what they go through, no longer proud
with mishaps, we may own same fate.
Years ago, a life-drawing group
met near spot homeless congregate.
Some were asked to be model troup
Honored, none seemed to hesitate,
we had their plight to contemplate.
Then we saw them as people are.
yet all carried homelessness scar--
their eyes were sad, seldom wore smiles,
pleased we chose them as our co-star.
we learned: we have not walked their miles.

Here’s how you do it
Let me show you
Be it art, music, or carpentry
A role model is key
Yet when it comes to parenting
Not every parent shows
For not every parent is qualified
As their children all too well know
*** THE CATS DREAM ***
The cats snuggling dream
Of turning through the music between stars…
Of their fur transformed to feathers…
Of a time past when
Brought to ballet class
They danced for the great George Balanchine —
As living models
Jumping high, high to
The peaking of their
Seeming so easily springing leaps…
To tap noses to his fingers
Then hang as if landed there… In
A pause overhead of any descent…
A stay of all motion
— even of time —
Where
Felines go
To dream
And dance

Thanks be to God
I nurse a dream of being a poet
Writing like Frosts, Shakespeares and Poes
Yet each glance at old works of poets
Sees my tall dream standing on its toe
Reading the lines so old and new
I marvel at arts which sweet words paint
How so subtle their sharp curves hue
Fair etiquettes on a soulful chant
I stand before the picture of my dream
Watching its shadow meet the face of the sun
With sparkles and glitters in streams
Words of old have my dream reborn
Make-up we apply
Beautiful glass porcelain face
The glamorized doll.

Come on you thin things,
eat some pies,
get some blubber on those thighs.
Eat some chocolate
gain some pounds
Make those boobies nice and round.
Get a spare tyre,
don’t be flat.
Boys don’t like their girls like that.
Make things wobble,
learn to twerk.
You can make that booty work.
Get some roses in those cheeks,
go and eat a bag of sweets
Be all jolly
Be all fat
Boys prefer their girls like that
I hope….
Fashion cover girls these days
make me sick,
All haggard and thin,
they look like .bean poles
Picking on South Beach diets
to trim flat waists
Do they have a life
'midst those surgical lifts?
I wonder if they cover up
bulimia blues with false lashes--
And party till sun up
to look doe-eyed come photo shoots!
