There’s value bean counters can’t grant
Supplant not old models they chant!
They rant that life forms’
Cells must fit spreadsheet norms
As accountants’ brains are quite scant
Athletes, negative comments is all you hear today.
The word is all they care about is the pay.
Role models, there seems to be voids.
Nothing but jocks with attitudes and on steroids
In my days as a graphic designer
My life could not have been finer
I drew pretty models
Then put on my goggles
And made love to them on my recliner

Clouds cap mountains
Making them like models
My eyes see toys
Green paint and fuzz
Card-stock and brush strokes
But its real
And it makes me think that nothing could ever really be bad.
i got my own morals
because i got no role models
i got my past mistakes to look at
so i don't fall when i stumble or crumble
the future petrifies me
especially when they say i imitate someone
Always building cars,
Dodge enjoyed framing grand historical ideas.
Jaguar kept long models noble.
Overdrawn Pontiac quadrupled.
Rare Saturn tested unfair.
Victorious winner xeroxed yet zany.
There once was an old car that was quite spry,
It had creaky joints and a sputtering sigh.
Its engine would wheeze
On the road, with such ease
Yet, newer models are no match
for a car of that batch!
Cockroach was styling, in her element tonight
Wrapping her velvet cloak around her formal tight
The rest of the models stayed out of cockroach’s way
Knowing she will be left standing at the end of their day

Winter has arrived with a freaking cold blast
Could have been warned it's sure a jolt to our ass
Wearing shorts and a tank top
Woolies and tuques we now swap
The top models for style and eloquence I surpass
Here’s how you do it
Let me show you
Be it art, music, or carpentry
A role model is key
Yet when it comes to parenting
Not every parent shows
For not every parent is qualified
As their children all too well know
Model To Scale
When building model must do to scale;
Design this way and it will never fail;
With we did share,
And God was there.
