Premium Member An hour poured into my fragile mind, each minute carrying meaning

An hour poured into my fragile mind, each minute carrying meaning,
Seconds stuffed, the death of the past pulsing silently in their ticking,
The future hides beneath an aged present, slowly fading away,
An absent figure from the future asks me if I will be or not be.
Thus, I found within myself, hurried to face the moments that ceaselessly flow,
Tiny traces of infinity in my current occupations, endlessly repeating.
Attached to life, in my square dream, without profit or clear aim,
The secret, tenacious struggle with windmills that are my own burden.
I seek the antidote, the anti-EVERYTHING, to my poetry, the tears of burning candles,
Passions long corrupted, unfinished sculptures, from stones still uncarved.
When I feel my soul weary from the youthful sprint losing its momentum,
I shake all the windmills of the biosphere, while I am still alive and present.
Through life's intense stress, an illiterate of success, I pass through sonorous time,
The seconds of the past, fractures from a future losing its outline.
In the flow of thoughts, an esoteric and melancholic dance begins,
Searching in the mystery of time for a hidden meaning that can still uplift us.

Half A Minute

I race into thick of woods
denying all noise
From a mind rushed by bruised thoughts
This life how shallow ,
And time becomes my ruler
Dragging me to pits
Of unrelenting wounded strifes
A world without calm.

Premium Member Half a Minute

Weighing up peace, love, and rage
wait a half-minute
you lose all the momentum
losing lines on stage

To you, I'm a fleeting breath
half a minute's worth
when you are my endless sky
casting a shadow

Confessions in the 34th Minute

I told the mirror not to answer
but it wept a name I had never spoken
yours. The one with no god,
no grave, only silence for bones.

We made chapels of each other's mouths,
your breath the liturgy,
mine the dagger.
We knelt. We undressed. We bled.

Each kiss a benediction
spilled on the floor of the forsaken.
You called me a cathedral;
I called you a ruin with holy teeth.

We carved poems on the inside of our skin
so when we died,
they'd read the rot
and say: "This was once love."

But we were never alive enough
for it to end that gently.
Only ghosts would make love
the way we did
with war
with fever
with famine
with cum.

The Blue Garden

15 minute city going down slow...
10,000 vehicles, everyone going
Live in the bottleneck, nowhere to go.
New coffee houses replace the old
Old coffee houses now closed
New owners can't speak English,
Old coffee, new coffee double the cost
Old sandwich, new sandwich
Ten times the price of rice, well,
Isn't that nice!
No public restrooms, pay as you go
If you have to pee, ask for the key
What am I doing here? Who am I?
Where do I go from here? Why do I care?
We've spent the whole world
Trying to kowtow and defer
To tyrants and idiots
Bureau socratics,
These giant rat bastards
Who hijacked our future.
What makes me think
I'll be able to
Get out of this life alive? ~psp

Premium Member Every minute matters

In a world of alternate reality
choices made lead us down
to different destinations

We zigzag leaving patterns forging pathways
with consequences hardly insignificant
each triggering a chain reaction

What a complicated maze
of endless possibilities
with outcomes unpredictable

Every thought every action
every silence every denial
weaves in fact the fabric of our destiny

That one minute call - An Electronics Engineers Love poem!

I was soldering dreams on a PCB,
Fighting a chip that refused to agree.
Multimeter in one hand, wire in the other—
Voltage spikes like no one’s bother.

Then came the call—a soft little beep,
Right when my circuit fell asleep.
I picked it up with a sigh so tall…
Didn’t expect you on that one-minute call.

"Hey, resistor brain, still alive?"
You joked as my heart hit overdrive.
My logic gates all flipped to high,
Capacitors charged, and so did I.

You said you missed me (with static delay),
I said, “Same here,” in my ohm-ish way.
We laughed about wires and life on hold—
Your voice was warm, my soldering cold.

No datasheet ever warned of this,
That love could spark with just a kiss—
Of words so quick, yet somehow deep,
That made my digital heart lose sleep.

Oh darling, in circuits, I deal with noise,
But your voice cuts through, brings quiet and poise.
That one minute call? Just sixty small seconds…
Yet my entire heart it somehow re-sequenced.

So call me again, like a rising sine wave,
In this tangled breadboard life I brave.
Because in a world of signals and sprawl,
You're the only frequency I want to call.

Premium Member One Minute Man revised

A bouquet of blossoms
The calmness in the forest
I felt his one eye willy against my ribs
In a nanosecond, he became a minute man
Was this a midwinter dream?
I smile and then I kiss his neck,
he whispers, honey,
I hope that you are not upset,
Darn! I was so ashamed of this
One minute man,
Viagra is all I can truly say to him
Old men, old men

Premium Member In a New York City minute

another weekday
she awakens
to the sunrise aroma of
preset coffee brewing

her eyes still closed
she thinks about her day
and slowly starts to form
thoughts in her head

so much to do
so little time
a jolt of java
revs up the engine

give her a minute
she'll come to life
another sip
and there it is

it's all systems go!

Premium Member Every Minute Each Day

Every minute, every hour of each day,
my heart entreats you with longing.
I desire your heart trusts what I say
every minute, every hour of each day.
If God exists, I avidly pray
He accords my desire for belonging.
Every minute, every hour of each day
my heart entreats you with longing.

Every minute, every hour of each day,
I desire your heart trusts what I say.
If God exists, I avidly pray
He accords my desire for belonging.
My heart entreats you with longing
accompanied by true love’s prolonging.

May the beauty of life pour down over me,
embrace me, let nature sway and play,
to permeate my soul, uplifting my spirit,
to soar out of my body, if only for a minute.

Last-Minute Sleigh

?? Dashing through the mall,
With a coffee in my hand,
Frantic gift-card haul,
This wasn’t what I planned!
Sales are all but gone,
Shelves are looking bare,
How’d I wait this long again?
This really isn’t fair! ??

Chorus:
Oh, last-minute sleigh,
Rushing all the way,
Why’d I procrastinate?
Now I’ll overpay!
Last-minute sleigh,
Racing through the fray,
Next year I’ll shop early—but
Not today!

?? Amazon won’t ship,
It’s cutting close to time,
I’ll never live this down,
The guilt is now sublime!
Grandma’s scarf’s a bust,
My nephew’s out of luck,
Looks like it’s socks for everyone,
Or cash inside a truck! ??

Chorus:
Oh, last-minute sleigh,
Rushing all the way,
Fighting in the checkout line,
For candy canes! (How lame!)
Last-minute sleigh,
Holiday cliché,
But when we laugh about it all,
It’s still okay! ??
