10 minute break
Breathe in, breathe out
It fills my lungs
Expelling doubt
I gaze up at the sky
With dull and fading eyes
Inhale, exhale
Let out smoke, not cries
The calmness overtakes me
Nothing ever shakes me
Inhale, exhale
Nothing now will break me
A sigh escapes my lips
For past relationships
Inhale. Exhale
Come on man, get a grip.
The sweet and loving sting
And the calm that it will bring
Inhale, exhale im just one human being
Fix the things you can control
And what you cants a goal
Inhale, exhale
One day I’ll feel whole
I stub the smoldering butt
Even if I’m in a rut
Inhale, exhale
Calm my twisted guts
The ashes are much like the past
Smoked down to the fiberglass
Inhale, exhale
Breaks over, time to go back
