A wizened boy who lived at seventy-two Oak
Relaxed in his tub with a lemon salt soak
Ate a curly pretzel, downed a harsh throat coke
An honest child who sprang from truthful folk

Dressed himself in a red and yellow super hero cloak
Flew around New York City watching for dangerous smoke
News of his heroism quickly readily broke
Giving some fame to this truthful do-gooder bloke

He saved a young girl who was having a choke
Convinced a teenager to give up a maryjane smoke
Chanted a spell pretty difficult to invoke
Created a talking frog who never could croak

If you meet this wizened boy at seventy-two Oak
Tell him his cousin Moke wants to give him a poke
This is a true story, in absolutely no way a joke
Now that I have shared it, I will go have a soak.

Left Turn

I'm just an average guy,
living a ho-hum life
Everything is going good,
everything's alright
Met this girl,
and I took a hard left turn
Has my daddy confused,
got my mamma concerned
This girl is a wild thing,
she'll let you know
if the wheels are turning too slow
Kick it up another gear, she tells me
Got to conquer your fear,
so you can live free
Ride the hurricane breeze ...
said this sexy Valkyrie
Sit inside the tornado,
where it's as calm as can be
So when I shoulda went right,
I decided to go left
Was cruising with a bag of ganja,
blowing the Maryjane breath
Started seeing flashing lights,
blue smurfs breaking my mellow
Was handed a couple of tickets
to a late-night cop reality show
My girl got out of jail free,
her card said she was a paid informant
I, on the other hand,
had to deal with incarcerated torment
Spent three days in hell,
with a lost weekend to boot
And my girl has moved on as well;
said I was a plain tuba,
she was looking for a magic flute
Here's the lesson learned:
three left turns will send you the right way

I Don'T Need Your Prescription

I cannot take a pill to make me chill.
It takes away from me everything that makes things real.
I just can't go through life living like a zombie.
Without a firm grasp on reality, now that's just beyond me.
Yeah I like to have fun, but I Atleast know that I'm having it.
Instead of anything available I have to be grabbing it.
Guess I'm old school for just keeping it simple and plain.
Having a few beers and rolling some Maryjane.

Premium Member Colorado High

Colorado is renown fer the majestic Rockies a-reachin' fer the sky.
Now, 'tis better known fer sittin' 'round, smokin' pot and gittin' high!

Visitors used to come to see Pikes Peak and The Garden Of The Gods.
Nowadays, they seek out cannabis shops wherein to spend their wads!

Some fellers gave up plantin' corn and melons to grow marijuana,
To reap the profits sellin' maryjane to folks a-seekin' their nirvana!

Now, in lieu of the scent of pine, the odious odor of pot pervades the air.
Glassy-eyed dudes stroll about pollutin' the air without a worldly care!

I'm chagrined to travel out-of-state sportin' a Colorado license plate.
Makes me real 'proud' to be called a denizen of The Centennial State!

Maryjane

The green
that makes the world go round
that makes it all good
and right
at the same time
that makes it so you feel no pain
but you dont deal either
just go through life in a daze
and thats how you want to spend your days?
in high and a haze
not living life
making excuses
for getting that high
that you dont need
you have other ways
but you would rather get that high
even though your not addicted
no not at all
you can quit anytime you say
ok that'll be the day
you rely too much
on it making everything ok
so you can do it by yourself
no your not addicted no
no one can get addicted
ok you go get your high
and ill go live my life
you wanna be that way
all you care about is the high
it dont make the pain go away
just pushes it aside for awhile
well you have fun with your maryjane
im done trying

Leaving Her Behind Drugs

Thirteen is when I met her,
An I must say she's changed my life...
Whether she was good or bad,
I had to have her, Soooo I made her my wife...
When we were together, It was like nothing else mattered,
But as soon as she would leave, My mind felt scattered...
So I always tried to keep her around,
Until the day I noticed,
That loving her is what kept me down...
By this time years had pasted,
Although I was truly faithful,
Her love would never last...
So I had to make the tuff decision and let her go,
But how to cope with out her,
I must admit I really don't know...
When ever I felt rejected she was always there,
Making me feel soooo gooood!!!
Taking away all my fear...
Atleast that's what I taught she was doing...
As I watched my ambition turn to ruin...
In a constant daze in just unaware
That loving her is what made me more scared,
To go out and face the world on my own...
She kept me caught up just stuck in her zone.....
And it didn't matter how much fun we had together,
At the end I still felt alienated and alone...
Stripped of my enthusiasim and all money...
I CAN STILL SAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE {~_~} MARYJANE {~_~}
I SURE WILL MISS YOU HONEY!!!!!

Pain In Mary Jane

My life revolves around My pain. Sometimes I wish I could smoke maryjane. In hailing and
exhaling, Sitting back relaxing not a care in the world its truthfully unfailing.

The blue, purple and gray smoke filling up the room. No sense of impending doom.
Everything is quiet every thing is calm. So quiet a pin would sound like a thermonuclear
bomb.

My pupils are dilated, my mussels aren't tense. I sit hear with out pain in sudden suspense.
I don't understand I can't fathom why this stuff is illegal when it helps me not to cry.
There so many kinds from skunk to kine form purple haze to Pennsylvania dutch. This is the
kind I smoke way to much.

The doctors they say that narcotics will do. But there all addictive and could kill you
to. When Pot is out there and no one can smoke it. But me I'll put it in a pipe and down I
will choke it.

We got alcohol and cigarettes cocaine and whiskey all of which could potentially kill me.
So maryJane takes a few brain cells But that's what you get when you inhale the THC smells.

God made whisky God made rum God gave us brains to have a green thumb. So grow it high
smoke it up bake it down and drink it up.

Ode To Maryjane - 1963

To be high
aaah
what a joy!
To float
on cotton candy clouds,
speak with fairies,
laugh with elves ...
laughing babies.

To be high
aaah
its alright if their high
is not your high.
Action on skis
up a hill,
jazz climbs
into muscles
voices are loose
(not uptight).
Solitude becomes
beauty
to create.

To be high
aaah
what a joy!
To float forever and ever
and never
become
no more nothing
but
high.
