Premium Member A Lament to My Muse

Though many those who court the muse,
There's only few that she will choose.
I wish that my light
Could shine here more bright,
But love unrequited's the news.

wingless like me

if my heart was currency,
you’d be the richest man alive
if being loved meant beauty,
you’d be the prettiest in the land
but if being cherished meant to be doomed,
you’d unlearn how to fly
so heaven would be missing an angel,
your lack of wings would make you fall
you’d be forced to live with us mortals,
where only your smile would make you reach
all that we called impossible
if you were to put it on display
so everyone could see
just how perfect you are,
just how easy you make it seem
to be an angel in a world
for wingless people like me
if i wanted to be prettier,
i’d strive to be more like you
if you needed to relearn how to fly,
i’d spend hours telling the stars about you
but if you wanted to stay,
i’d make arrangements for that too
i’d even hope for it in secret
so it’d be just me and you

Miss You More

I'm missing you all over again
And it's not because you gave me hope
It's not because I love you more now

I miss you every day, especially at night
And it's because I gave myself hope
Because I saw you, now I see you everywhere

STAY

Come near do not take your gaze from mine
The heavens have nothing on the stars of your eyes
If you're willing take my hand. let our destinies entwine
If not then fear not for your company will grant me respite
A reprieve from the death of love unachieved
The loss of my heart to an unassuming thief
To be deprived of mourning causes even greater grief

So stay even if to leave if best as you may believe
Stay so your presence will shatter my deluded heart
Stay so your presence will not be granted a deserters part
Stay so that when I heal. my heart will be built anew
Stay so that when your heart is given to another
I'll be devoid of envy and my happiness for you will be true

Premium Member you are my witness

I am to one
what another is to me.

The years press
against each other

producing sweet nectar

drops of time
that we have created

are gone to past again.
I have told you it is so

and you are my witness
to this

To Love in Silence

My heart longs deeply,
and I am unable to remain unfazed whenever I see you.
It’s tragic to think that,
aside from the fact that there was never a "you and me,"
I cannot even hold your hand freely.
I am completely unable to call out your name
or look straight into your eyes to say:
"Whenever I don’t see you,
my eyes search endlessly, just to catch a glimpse of you,
even if it’s only your shadow.
I long to hear your voice,
even if it’s not my name that falls from your lips.
I’ll keep the heartache within,
just to keep your smile whenever you speak of someone else."

To the love I never had

My love for you is Agape
It has no reason
Though it isn't reciprocate
To me, it has deep meaning

My love for you has no season
It is the unending rush of a waterfall
The eternal blossom of the wild pumpkin
It can never fade and never stop

My heart is crying, it needs you
Everything in the world is meaningless without you
I don't want to dream of you anymore
Now, I want you for real

God created you unique
He uses all his beauty techniques
He gave you the best physique
Even without you visiting a boutique
You always look classic

They say everything happens for a reason
If we were meant to be together that It will work out in the end
What I know for sure is that,
I will never forget you even if you forget me

If life insist that we need to go our separate ways
You will still dwell in my heart till my dying days
My love for you can never be erased
In my world you can never be replaced

It maybe now or never
I will wait for you forever
Maybe as forever is over
The feeling I had for you will be over

Maybe In Another Universe

Maybe in another universe, you’re mine.

Our lives are intertwined.

Maybe in another universe, you see all the tears I’ve cried,

all my delusional sleepless nights.

Wondering what would happen if I just told you.

Would you kiss me in the rain and tell me, I'm your one, just me forever;

That you’re done?

Maybe in another universe, you’re my fairytale,

You wait for me as the school bells ring, and slow dance with no music on

You’re my Sunday Kind of Lover and we have a love people wait forever for.

Maybe in another universe, you’re more than just a friend.

A Love Unrequited

Deep within my heart, a love abides,
For the man of my dreams, my soul confides.
Yet, though he tends to my every need,
His affection falls short, a wound indeed.

Each passing day, my yearning grows,
Every part of me, longing shows.
But amidst the care, a pain I find,
His gestures sometimes leave me behind.

An act, seemingly small, yet cuts so deep,
Leaving my heart to silently weep.
Was it deliberate, to stir my fears?
Or simply misunderstood, through my tears?

I wish I could release this love's tight grip,
But with each attempt, deeper I slip.
Dreams of a future, with children in tow,
With him, my heart's eternal glow.

So here I am, torn and torn apart,
In love with a man, yet feeling apart.
For he holds my heart, yet keeps it at bay,
Leaving me yearning, day after day.

Rachel Elizabeth

Elegance as far as my heart can see
Eyes as blue as pools of raw beauty
A Yorkshire rose as white as snow
Rachel a name that warms my soul.

Despite the distance my memories won't fade
Of a delicate goddess I was unable to tame
Sadness and tears sting my face
The smell of her hair from a warm embrace.

Her happiness conquers all the negative thoughts
To have met a woman so adored
My heart shall remain happy, full and alive
Rachel Elizabeth, the true beauty in my life.

Premium Member Unrequited Valentine Passion Collab

A love potion meant for her high school beau
She mistakenly spilled in my Latte to-go
With my passions on fire
When I expressed my desire
She replied "You're a bit too old, Romeo"
                                                      by Robert Gorelick

Tell her when you see her your not too old
That the fire in your soul never goes cold
And you don’t need potion
For showing emotion
As your passion is remotely controlled
                                                      by Belle Bellevue

Catatonia, Collapse, Abiding Love

I kneel, bow, and make myself into
A rock to ask God,
King of the Universe,
Give me the amateur.
Hear my cries, Lord our God,
And give me him.

I plead, beg, and erode
My rough edges;
Almighty One,
I want this one to be terminal.
Please, God, place the
Obsidian in the core of my palm.
Let this strangeness of love
Feel familiar, once more.

King of my Universe,
Please let him become familiar.
Almighty One,
I swear I will get it right this time.

Game

all this while
I had been knocking at your door
waiting for you to traverse the space
from your locked room to the door front
take the keys from the door side table
and let me in

and all this while
in being the knocker
I forgot to lock my home
the doors were wide ajar
the windows un-hatched,
you’d raided all of it.

Unspoken

You see me
Without looking in my eyes
I hear you
Without speaking your truth

You touch me
Without using your hands
I love you
Without saying those words

You move me
Without pushing
I miss you
Without trying

You are with me
Without having you near
I am with you
Without being the one
