Notes About The Poem

My limericks, with commentary, are collected in Original Clean Limericks, available from Amazon. See my book links.

"I would this book, as it is the child of my brain, were the fairest, gayest, and cleverest that could be imagined. But I could not counteract Nature's law that everything shall beget its like..." - Cervantes

A Lament to My Muse

There's only few that she will choose.
I wish that my light
Could shine here more bright,
But love unrequited's the news.
