Stirring the feelings, blessings so gentle, in light
I discover the songs of my dreams, my soul’s belief
Stars fall and memories plead with me at night
Where the last tears I shed for you are such a relief

In her eighties, she still groomed – clipping nails
Her hands, soft and warm to the touch, tender as the rose
Petals weeping as they melt the summer dew who trails
Along the glistening lights, softly playing as grace flows

Her eyes glittering with azure lights, healing hearts, twinkling

Light falls across the meadows,
reflecting the gentlest shades of majestic
avocado and olive and jade, all the greens
melting through the shadows, 
caressing the endless melodies of peace
pouring forth from the eternal dreams,
rescuing the seeds of yesterday’s grace
arising to spread harmony
peace and prayer and praise…

lifting the sinner from his shame,
promising the spirit
to lead them toward that hope

If you go away, and my heart breaks

Weeping, for the moments
We spent in the light of the morning
Whispering our dreams, our hearts – memories
Weeping, for the days – we colored with praise,
The nights – we taught the stars to sigh,
