The sunlight sparkles across the sky
Whispering joy through my smile
Reflecting wonder inside my heart
Breathing warmth across my soul

The stardust night glimpses my hope
Sparkling and shining – a silent glow
Growing praise through the spirit
Singing with worship and fulfillment

The robins and wrens sail through the leaves
Gliding across the meadows, rising to breathe
Fluttering on the branches, wind rumpled feathers
Hovering on the poplars, oaks and birch trees

The shadows of light reflect on the moments
Poetic thoughts trembling and yearning
Summoning the dreams of those who need
His presence, His grace, stirring insight

The roses and iris bloom across the thoughts
Inspiring splendor that can only be had
When the joy of such beauty in all its amazing
Glory, abounds, calming souls with their quiet

The wonders raining their benefits upon the heart
Reassure the world that nature is God’s work
His poetry promises of showers, flowers and light
Sighing through the heavens like the evening sun

Listen to the moon’s silence, the echo of each star
Praising our Creator for His amazing poem
Visions and verses in joy and peace, grace that awakens
The soul to know the sensation of love abiding in creation

Your love is like the moonlit night
With dancing stars, brilliant and alive
Piercing the sky with shimmering laughter
Joy so enthusiastic it just trembles pleasure
Beyond description, beyond reason
Pleasure so sweet it promises the fantasy

Your love is like the breath of morning sunlight
Reflecting happiness so kind and wise
Breaking through the silence of the dawn
In colorful twists of lemon and rose
Birth of a stillness so warm it leaves hope
Promising to reveal all the wonders of One
Who echoes peace in the spirit, like a whisper!

Your love is like the summer rain, nourishing
My soul in inspiration, imagination, illumination
Gentle flavors of mercy and grace,
Laughter that soothes the spirit and answers
Hearts who yearn with prayers
Prayed by lips who linger in kisses
Meant to sing joy through the spirit

Your love is like the dewdrop, a single tear
Blessing the petals of blooms,
Caressing the garden with miracles
Expressions of light, whimsical
Coloring the heart in hues of gentleness
Fondling the memory with nostalgia
Poured out on the mind, enraptured
By the brilliant stirring of gentle affection

Your love is like the morning
It is like the night too
It remembers and praises, preparing
Senses to reflect on the embrace
Of a silent smile, a joy, a delight
Intimacy brought to life with dreamy kindness
An appreciation for the grace, the relief
That comes alive on the heart of one who thrives
On hope, faith and love, the source from God above
For erasing all doubt and singing, shouting
Serenity through the veins, sensitivity so sweet
It imagines the honest beat of light
Rained down, like a dewy dream,
Filling up the heart with a spirit of adoration,
The assurance that His mercy and grace
Will bring passion to this place
Where we wait, amazed and expectant
Anticipating His gift of acceptance

Your love is in my heart and soul
Your love is the reason I will always know….
You are the one God sent to bring me hope
You are the one God gave to fill my heart
You are the one God sent to inspire my life
With a feeling so alive it reflects with insight…
Understanding that heals and heartens
Wisdom that always shines a light of kindness
Intuition that reminds me why I try
Your love assures me that I will always smile!

You see the ugly scars
I see the beauty inside
You see the struggles and worries
I see the strength that makes it worth it
You see the pain and sorrow
I see second chances in the morning

Where you only see the despair
I see the value of time spent
Reflecting on what is most important
The heart and soul – the dreams within
The joy that comes from knowing
God’s grace is always there for us

You see the grief and mourning
That comes from death’s calling
I see the love that brought life
To the soul who has gone on
The breath of joy given to those
Who know death isn’t really the end

Where you see only the decay
Left behind by autumnal arrays
I see the fiery oak, maple and birch
All of those heavenly displays
That brought us such amazing sights
Whispers of laughter in the starry nights

You see the darkness in the evening
While I see only the deep silence
Revealing soft feelings so powerful
They remind me that I have been blessed
By the kind caress of answered prayers
The happy thoughts within God’s breath

Where you see the pain that thrives
Breaking both hearts and minds
I see the lessons that have been learned
Taught by the anguish of a soul
Who knows that God will reassure
With renewed faith, hope and love

He is interested in more than
The enormous happenings
Like worries and wars, weakness’
Darkness that shadows
Even the most beautiful thoughts

He cares about the little things
The flowers, the moon and the stars
The sunlight flickering through the trees
The mountains, the seasons, the winds
The joy that comes from His gentleness

He listens to the smallest prayer
For a promise that lives to become
A actuality as wonderous as a dream
A truth that survives every dread
A breath of hope within the spirit

He stirs up the inspiration and wishes
Of a heart who is alive with sensitivity
Magnificent faith that falls on souls
Who know that His love is eternally
Blessing everyone who truly believes

He shares His Holy Spirit with the one
Who knows that He lives inside, abiding
On the heart who feels so close to Him
Accepts the love He gives with praise
That comes from the spirit of sweet grace

He leaves the mind questioning His embrace
The love that comes from a tender gift
Comfort so soothing it feels like a chance
To reach beyond the world into the heavens
Where He shines His light always and forever

He sends down His love to those who know Him
And feel His presence with them in every prayer
Through every scripture reading, each devotion
He lingers on the thought of one who knows He is
Alive within the heart and soul, always so earnest

He will never leave the heart who knows His love
Is the one thing that makes life seem so good
It is the hunger for His kindness that stirs fires
Of passionate yearnings – desire for His miracles
Brought to life inside the soul who sincerely believes

He listens to the big prayers and the small prayers
He never turns a deaf ear to those who are heartfelt
Prayers that lift the spirit with generosity and altruism
The thoughtfulness of those who love without conditions
Because they listen to the One who hears the prayers they send Him!

John 14:18 (KJV) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

~In God I Trust~
(The Ricalai)

I see better in God's light
He helps me walk in the night
Believe in God, trust in Him always must

God gives us all His blessings
He forgives our transgressions
God is always just I never distrust

God brings blessings to lives
Worship Him when each day arrives
In Him find love, hope, peace, in his grace trust

God give choices but Him follow
Whatever happens to Him go
Place in Him my trust, this is just a must

When I follow God, feel good
With him I'll surely stay and stood
God help me, He's just, and in Him I trust.

“Walk this way.”
Said the old man, with a hardwood cane.

“I don’t have a limp? I can not match your step, Sir.”
The young man replied in earnest.

“Are you poking fun at me? Junior “man”, yet to be?”

“No elder, Sir. You, have to see…
I am here to learn and we… (circling his hand to include them both)
You teach of times, now lost to me,
And play the music that sets all free.
It is much like a waltz in time, plus one then out.
Three legs like a stool, but “clever” not a fool.
I respect you, friend, your years of long measure.
All that you offer, every word, every treasure.

The old man gazed, hard at the youth,
It was ominous and clear, an incredible truth.
The man before him, toe to toe
Was a man, a real man in the know.
Putting "value" on the past
Maybe this man won’t be the last?

Walk Forward

Walk Forward

If I travel on ahead too soon, pause for a while and consider my going
But stop not, nor fall into the time and distance between us.
Gather yourself; draw in all of me that was, bind your wounds and wrap your heart with memories
They will be your salve and balm; your recovery, your power.
For somehow, you must now step forward. Day by day — Week by week
Remember all that you taught me —strength, courage and love
But don’t let the past pull you back. Linger not on our last day.
Use your love to comfort. Your hands to help
And walk forward
Walk forward and you will find me.
For we are of the same atom. The same cells —The same fibre
We can never be split. Forever we’ll be joined in heart and soul and mind.
Walk forward
Walk forward and one day, you will find me.

I feel so connected to you and Jesus like we are family.
I think of you as my beloved but I know you might not feel the same about me.
I will love you as long as I live and even though there is an ocean between Us I love you forever.
Thank you Kami for being my best friend even if it is a secret.

Inane

I have this inane hope
This firm belief
Implanted so firmly in my head
That my subconscious writes stories about it
And shows them to me
When I do not have the domain
To tell if not to

The moment I escape
Or rather
I enter
It’s there
Excited to show me
The story it made today

“It’s not good enough
Unless it makes her ache
When she wakes up
Remind her what she thinks
Remind her
That we control her
She cannot control us”

“Not that she is too weak
Or that it is impossible
But because she cannot convince herself
That she wants to
That’s why we are here
Because she still wants us too
We need to remind her
That she wants us to write
About him”

I don’t
I don’t want him
I don’t want the performances
I’m throwing roses at the stage
In hopes the thorns hit
And draw blood

Cause I have been bleeding
I have been slick with crimson
I can’t stand or I slip
I wipe it but it pours
Out of each and every pore
As if i am Christ
Waterfalls of red
Seeping from my body

I want you to know
How it feels
I know you’re bleeding too
But it’s different
Your cutting yourself
Willingly
And I am bleeding
out of my control

Always having to say no
Is easier than always having to beg
Even when you don’t want to beg
Even when you don’t want to say no
I believe you want to say yes
I know you think you cant

But I have this inane hope
That one day
You will
You’ll kiss my bleeding pores
And bandage my body
Until my veins run dry
And I have nothing left to give
Except my utter devotion
To you

I’ll clean your self induced cuts
And heal any others that escaped my knowledge
Until eventually
We are whole enough
To hold each other
God
I just want to hold you

“Remind her
How she loves his eyes
How she loves his laugh
How she loves his mannerisms
His voice
His hair
His soul
How she thinks she is mentally sick
Because she cannot convince herself
That she doesn’t love him
Remind her
That she loves him”

I don’t
But I have this inane hope
This stupid belief
That you do too

Premium Member Maker of the Oceans

Light pours out joy through my soul
Stirring the silence with hope and more
Feelings so alive they inspire and console
With a love so brilliant it will always adore

Laughter sings warmth to my dreams
Breathing whispers of kindness into me
Thrilling and filling me up to extremes
With pleasure wider than the sea

Love flows through me, blessed peace
Shining like sun or stars so amazing
Touching the heart who will never cease
To be elated by a God who I’m always praising

Refrain:

Praise Him, maker of the oceans
Silent grace, whisper of gentle light
Overflowing hope into the emotions
Alive with a kindness, He shines so bright
Falling all over my spirit, gentle devotions
