Old Time Heart

While I sometimes feel lost
In this big world I live in,
I still know just what it cost
this love found in His presence….

I have an old time heart,
A heart who hears His wisdom
This light will never depart,
the love shining from His spirit….

This old time heart believes
In the love that He brings,
It’s a hope that never deceives
this love rising from within me…

While I sometimes don’t understand
All the fears and lonely tears,
I know this life doesn’t always go as planned,
But love brings me through the years…

This old time heart inside of me,
Reveals praise that comes from believing
He is my heart’s reason, I’ll forever be…
filled with love that comes from knowing Him…

the joy of my soul,
the hope that keeps me going,
the faith that never ends,
the love that tells me I have a friend….

And this old time heart can see
He’s the love that set me free
He’s my love and I’ll forever be….
grateful that I can bow my knee…
to the One who hung on that tree,
offering hope for you and me!

Hope that will forever be.
