Keep Company Poems | Examples

The Preemptive No

Before you ask

The answer is no

I will never surrender courage

For a place of defeat and storage

I will not abandon faith

For a worthless attachment to an uncertain estate

I refuse to relinquish love

For a well-fitted but counterfeit glove

I cannot renounce my goal

For a destination that ambushes my true role

I will not forsake confidence

For a river that runs with polluted opulence

I refuse to discard determination

For a chance to keep company with resignation

I dare not part with humility

For a life that grants honor to futility

Before you ask

Rest assured the answer is no

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7NKJV

W-Wise men do not hate knowledge
I-Instead they fear the Lord and seek wise counsel
S-Shunning enticement from sinners
D-Do not keep company with corrupt people
O-Outside wisdom calls LOUDLY in open squares
M-Make the fear of the Lord your starting point when seeking wisdom.

Everyone tells us what to do when a cherished-Love-one dies.
So, I will just suggest that one should not allow themselves to grieve too long. Spend your waking hours reading and remembering The many years you were all together. When you return to your normal routine at work, school, playtime. get close to people and find new friends, Call a friend when you are in doubt of something.

Have a Prayer Circle in her name and visit with God often. He will direct your steps each day. We get so use to the Earthly body, and so when we don't see it around we get lonely. There are three of you to keep company. Cherish this time together. At Holidays which can be the worst, Light candles and sing songs.

Keep close to one another and always remember when a bird flys by, or a dog barks at you, it might be her saying Hello.

Wishing you all the best for a Happy, Healthy and Loving experience in the years to come.

Love, That Knows No Boundaries

As simple as its breathing
Is this logic expelled
And as natural, by tot:
"Since we, as one, this world share
To keep company with
Cuddly lion, why not!"

Friend Or Foe

Friend or Foe-- Knock, knock, who's there? Stop playing those stupid games with me. Don't I know you from somewhere? We could have carried on a conversation a very long time ago. Who are you? " Friend or Foe," You act as though you know me, I'm wondering did we keep company before, this I just don't know. Who are you? " Friend or Foe," I really need to know? A confidant, a sweet retreat. Are still there? Why do I even care? Will you just answer me? Don't just get up and walk away, either answer yes or no? Are you " Friend or Foe." Do just need me for a place to lay low or is there some else you'll just not trying to show. Could you answer this: " ARE YOU MY " Friend or Foe."

A Night In the Balcony

An awkward place to keep company with
A wonderful height as I’ve never been raised
A monstrous place if fall and bleed
A balcony night that I’ve never been

Night in the balcony is so sweet
As the soft wind touches me
Like gentle kisses all around
Went to a dream and came to ground

The stars twinkle bright to give me light
Stars and fireflies compete as a fight
Moon came giving a lovely sight
Wonderful glorious balcony night

The moonlight hugs the trees so tight
I see it from the balcony which is so high
Then that light touched me too
I felt happy as dream come true

Being Hungry In America

(Austin, TX, 1955)

Mother writes me
From Korea
Ravaged by the war:

You are so blessed
Living in America
Land of peace
Land of plenty

I mumble:

Mother
I eat two raw eggs
In the morning
Three pieces of Wonder bread
For supper
To save money for tuition

I’m very hungry

I’m also very lonely

I eat my eggs and bread
Sitting in front of vanity mirror
To keep company
With a person in the mirror

But I’m determined to succeed
And make you proud

Please stay well until I return

Focus on the now and here
Mindfulness speaks crystal clear

Conscious awareness sees choice
A deeper finesse frames poise

Keep company with silence deep
Feel how stillness transcends sleep

Be awake and aware now
Start right here as you know how

Sanctify your sacred space
Meet your dear soul face to face

Intention attracts blessing
Start with deep understanding

Be always mindful of peace
Let compassion never cease

Alone At a Cafe Boulevard

At a Boulevard cafe
sits a man near a the park
where pigeons
without corn keep company
 to someone completely
solitary...
In the café bar uselessness
from someone who elegantly
  sits alone ...
In the air the memory
of a figure that
does not occupies the
space of a soulless
body in front of an
empty coffee cup ...!

Concord

When they see a lone mien with no chum near,
They say I may be fraught with a crippling fear;
They feel I am just another remorseful creep,
Battling guilty pangs many soul-inches deep.

Truly feeling external eyes can hardly see
The countless faithful mates seated here,
Who form the cordial knot of hurting pals,
Constant friends twined by self-same tear.

Unknown to any passerby's inexperienced ear,
Here keep company varied doleful ditties dear.
They genuinely treasure and far cherish more
Men who firsthand share in the sufferer's woe.

They guess I'm a warmth-forsaking introvert now,
With no measly thirst for truly affectionate hearts.
Little do they understand the solid concept at play,
Tested design to wander in solitude's calming arts!

Doubtless more faithful companions shall be found,
In low caves of loneliness than in a feasting ground.

The Nectars of Love

The Nectars of Love

Let your love fall, that I may wallow
Let your tears drip of inner essence
Entranced by the nectar I swallow
As I engulf and taste your presence
***
Let your beating heart keep company
The emptiness that entraps my being
I’m a string vibrating in your symphony
Forever echoing festal forever freeing
***
Intoxicated by your juices made wine
For the gods pour down their nectar
Indulging in grapes of the orchid vine
Seducing our souls a haunting specter
***
The nectars of your love are ingested
And the fluids of my heart arrested.

A Walk In the Wild

Hello foolish human
Why are you here?
I look at you and I smell your fear.

I should kill you
But my belly has had its fill
So walk with me human if you will.

You watch me closely human
Are you entranced by my fur that is white?
I suggest you do not touch me for I have fangs and I do bite.

I normally do not keep company with those whose don’t walk with all four paws on the ground.
But perhaps this chance encounter will prove useful to us both somehow.

My family will not welcome you.
Humans are our worst enemy.
So expect hostility of the upmost extremity.

Do not be afraid human I did not bring you here to die.
My pack must meet you to know you our under my protection.
I am their Alpha and they will follow my direction.

Now that they have smelled you they won’t forget you.
Come now human it is time for you to return to your home.
Next time you in this part of the forest just remember you are not alone.

In the Darkness of the Night

I gaze across the balcony
With none to keep company
The art of the twilight
The painting that was drawn right
In the darkness of the night

When I look upon the abondoned streets
Waiting for the chatter of feet
Hour by hour, the ticking goes on
Waiting for the bright light that was gone
In the darkness of the night

Only a caravan to pass by
With the tapping horses to the bars untie
The wind whirling around the corner
And the dim light which would come out sooner
In the darkness of the night

I shall wait for the day to arrive
For which I shall thrive
In the darkness of the night

Seek thus to be
A soul set free

Keep company
With true beauty

Be at peace now
For love endows

Come seek the light
As truth gives sight

Stillness floods peace
In silent ease

Be willing here
Abide good cheer

Joy knows happy
As you can be

Watch what you think
Forge your fond links

Poise is your choice
Despite life's noise

Come to know truth
Dance sacred proof

Dream after dream
Sojourn love's theme

Go on your way
Live well each day
