The Ultimate Prize
There are failures who express truth as the belief in others
And litigate with Jesus Christ to absolve themselves of blame,
Because success to them is in the visions of jealous minds,
And their approval is valued as if they control destiny.
Foolish heart, set your sight upon God and place love above pride,
And be not a worthless flutterance grasping for altitude;
Set for yourself the ultimate prize and seek eternal life,
And shun envy’s definition of Christ from misleading you.
At the guest’s table, earthly treasures you believe to be the answer,
Where the consequence of decision is discarded as irrelevant.
At a predetermined time, your compromise will be rendered,
As your demeanour is exposed and intentions declarant.
In the halls of justice, mercy is extended by forgiveness;
Look in His direction with confession as a prerequisite.
Be wary of entrapment and do not keep company with the faithless;
The ultimate prize of eternal life is the gift Jesus gives.

Before you ask
The answer is no
I will never surrender courage
For a place of defeat and storage
I will not abandon faith
For a worthless attachment to an uncertain estate
I refuse to relinquish love
For a well-fitted but counterfeit glove
I cannot renounce my goal
For a destination that ambushes my true role
I will not forsake confidence
For a river that runs with polluted opulence

I dare not part with humility

Before you ask
Rest assured the answer is no
Everyone tells us what to do when a cherished-Love-one dies.
So, I will just suggest that one should not allow themselves to grieve too long. Spend your waking hours reading and remembering The many years you were all together. When you return to your normal routine at work, school, playtime. get close to people and find new friends, Call a friend when you are in doubt of something.
Have a Prayer Circle in her name and visit with God often. He will direct your steps each day. We get so use to the Earthly body, and so when we don't see it around we get lonely. There are three of you to keep company. Cherish this time together. At Holidays which can be the worst, Light candles and sing songs.
Keep close to one another and always remember when a bird flys by, or a dog barks at you, it might be her saying Hello.
Wishing you all the best for a Happy, Healthy and Loving experience in the years to come.

Singapore
My shadow is waiting patiently to yell at me,
reading Sartre's Being and Nothingness, my ankle
brushing against its thigh.
Too bad you had to sell your soul to stay alive!
There's something odd about it today, sometimes we're
kindered cousins, and sometimes Camusian strangers, needing
psychotherapy, typically the distance between us is larger than
six feet.
I don't want to have bad feelings toward it, I 've looped around it several times to keep it from dragging us to the ground. If it were thinner it'd be easier!
I correct myself giving it a reassuring smile to let it know life's easier without
quarrels between us – as long as we keep a healthy distance, far enough to avoid a handshake, and close enough to keep company in this bitter year of grief. It asks
how do we fight someone whose strength we don't understand?
You never know when it needs a kidney from me. I am its distraction and
vice versa.
Yesterday we settled into seats facing one another. It laughed
life's better in this barren habitat of solitude. But I wasn't ready
for an after-the-quarantine talk, I pushed away and turned to leave
but it nuzzled its face into my neck, demanding to know how I can
feel so perfectly when my wife's in hospital. We're both getting used to
no need for human contact – social distancing's ultimate effect.
LITTLE THINGS #2:
Love and live well the tale you tell,
Enjoy fond spells just where you dwell.
Act not your age, do silly things,
Write each life page as chapters fling.
Each moment comes with vivid charm,
Style your fine sums and bear no harm.
This lovely day was made for each,
Have fun and play with grateful reach.
Yes frail and brief in rise and fall,
No need for grief to add more gall.
Seize then each surge, the urge to be,
People emerge, keep company.
Let little things, humble and nice,
Arise and spring like hearty spice.
Celebrate zest with mind and heart,
Body shares fest at end and start.

~Don't Be Left Behind~

Please don’t miss out and be left behind
Salvation only thru Jesus we can always find
Try not to do, what you know is not right
And pray to Jesus to keep you in His sacred light
Don't do evil and keep company with the wrong crowd
In front of our God we should be humbled not proud
The ways of the Lord are always good and perfect
He deserves all our unconditional love and respect
Find the Lord first and to you all His blessings He'll surely add
For your sins and mine He paid the price so we can be glad not sad
For the love of God we can come anytime and have with Him eternity
Only through Jesus we can have Salvation, not in our own way and ability
We can not attain Salvation just by doing it with our own power or good
We're not good enough, just "God" is really good and perfect and that’s understood.

For the power of a community that praises, prays and positions itself properly
With the love of God and the worship to God will have provisions abundantly
Three years younger, little brother of mine,
only the two of us...that was just fine.
While just an infant, was a dolly for me.
We, with our parents, made our family.
Years went by fast, and soon he became
a playmate for me to make life a game.
We lived in the country, no kids around;
just had each other with yard our playground.
We played hide and seek and games of all sorts;
some we made up, and others were sports.
Through make-believe...no computers, TV...
we'd find ways to play and keep company.
We leaned on each other through work and play;
little brother back then...grown man today.
Now a 'big brother' who watches for me;
our bond will stay close, that's our guarantee.
