Parted But Joined

When you were born
On the first of July
I was so broken hearted
I wished I could die
'Cause I'd made the choice
To say goodbye
Such a sad sounding word
Still makes me cry

I stood hour after hour
In the hospital ward
Just looking at you face
I never got bored
The window between us 
Cut like a sword
The bond we had forged

In the end, what is there to be, but alone?

To recognize at last and say goodbye

To all those things that were not I;

To join the others who wait eternal

For another touch of another breath that is life;

The passage that returns and returns,

As we start alone, and end alone,

And in between have those great and grand

I Awaken and Joined In Together We All Praise

I awoken with a song on my heart
As my mind recites, Jesus 
In my pointing vision I'm receiving
Views dreams in part
I'm totally found not lost

On this special day of love and light,
Two hearts are joined, shining bright.
With joy and hope, they take their vows,
In front of family and friends, they make their house.

The bride, so beautiful in white,
Her groom, so dapper, in his suit and tie,
Their love is pure and true,
A bond that will last forever, through and through.

The bride, radiant in her beauty and grace,

Heathens, scamps and thieves were lying in wait around the cove
Could not see them in gray dusk, but Captain Tawny Right felt them
