Premium Member Spring Invites The River To Return

Down where the privet hedge blooms
And doves sing their coos
A woman feeds the birds
Now her life resumes

God's love is an ocean
And mine a small-streamed river
The tide comes in and rejuvenates
The small stream's thirst for life

Dear Lord in your son's name
Let the water flow
And my life like spring flowers blossom

Amen

Premium Member Spring Invites me to Play

Dandelions are breezily blowing
Perky dots on lilies seem to be saying hi
Spring needs her own adjectives for her feeling
Refreshed, rejuvenated, regenerated, regrown
These are but a start of the emotions of April
None of the other months encourage me to dance
Spring invites me to sing, spin, skip, twirl and twist.
She takes me back to age six and lets me play

Premium Member Peace Invites Miracles

Precious moments, stirring soft joys,
Everlasting grace, rich in praise,
Always magnificent, alive and endlessly delicious,
Caught up in the miracle, the wonder,
Engraved on the spirit with love.

Inspired by the heart, life’s lessons,
Never letting go of the pen, His blessings,
Vibrant and valuable, true faith,
Invites the light to fall, softly moving the soul,
Teaching the feelings to pour out their beauty,
Enchanting the night with starlight,
Shimmering through the lost dreams, encouraging.

Melodies of yearning, raining down hope,
Imagine the perfect in love’s soft glow,
Reassuring the spirit, the heart and the soul,
Amazing each sense with gestures of love,
Coloring each day with sensitivity,
Letting wisdom pray – silent and still,
Elegant touches from the music of a smile,
Sending peace into those who simply believe.

Invites, Attracts, For Fruit Tree

No more a cheerful giver
Than this, bird-voicing.
Who lights up the prettier
Fruiting for fruit tree.

Which sound, uninhibited
Look, of sheeny gloss
Intensifies, when upsped
With basket, dearie .

Club Invites Police

The strangest act by a loved patron:
Inviting police and his baton
Over missing drinks in a carton
Reported stolen by a matron.

Now, dragging down club Electron.
She shall change her name to Neutron
Or, still nice and as sweet proton;
She might be sued if it's "Citreon".

But this is lesson for Miriam,
Who would into a cellar ram:
Loved for being a workaholic
Disliked for being Alcoholic.

Premium Member Grumpy Gnome Invites Himself

Mother Bunny had her hands full with six.
They were bouncing around, adding friends to their mix.
I want them to be social, she said to a friend.
But How many children must I feed in the end?

I know you can handle it, her friend said, you are the best.
Maybe this beach vacation is a bit of a test.
If it is too much, next year you could stay at home.
This might please your neighbor, Mr. G.T. Gnome.

Mother Bully laughed, for G.T. was a good friend.
But he always invited himself along in the end.
She almost felt guilty for leaving him back home.
But she had her hands full enough without a grouchy gnome.

Premium Member Meaning Invites Purpose

We expect to find
and ecologically pursue
performing possessive behaviors,
speaking with LeftBrain dominant purpose
in our individualized ego lives.

We invite,
theologically hope for,
and faithfully search out
and in to fulfill,
nonviolently provide
peaceful purpose
to protect interdependent
intersectional
meaningful relationships
in Earth's web
of sacred compassion.

Soft Rain At the Window Invites Reflection

Soft rain at window
           invites reflection retreat
            solitude cuddle

Black Invites Me Back

Life without matter that never really
mattered
Hardest part of love, giving up on someone who doesn't love you
Slowly turning to foe
Spent question devouring hunted answers
Patterns in the spaces
That unpainted pain
ready to release tears that reflect my sins
Death picks a name
and today starts again
Black invites me back

Premium Member Death Invites No Fear

(blank verse)

Not long, but clear and strong, came Dad to me.
He'd died six months ago, grief still my decree,
yet Dad's words steered me away from tragedy.
This gave me proof that death invites no fear.
Souls ebb and flow, roll like ocean's own tide.
Death must be two doors, one souls pass through,
and one love-sealed to hold humans earth bound.
When flesh life dies, one's spirit life remains
on journeys aptly mapped for souls' growth-gain.

Each soul endures umpteen human lifetimes
'til spirit consciousness shines light divine.
Now mortal senses hold the universe,
when spirit senses would spare us our worst.
In race and gender, many are fast wrapped,
yet death shakes gone both sad, human rigged facts.
Misplaced emphasis could be what ends us.
When spirit sense outweighs human nonsense,
we shall seal heavenly wrapped, peaceful traits.

God Invites You To Know Him

God Invites You to KNOW Him!

Wouldn’t it be nice to make heaven your home?
To have a mansion next to God’s throne?

You can know God with a certainty…
Where you’ll be spending your eternity.

You can, right now, have your sins forgiven!
Christ’ love can change the way you’re livin’!

You can assuredly know
beyond any doubt.
The son of God is what life is all about!

Christ gives eternal love so pure!
In the loving arms of Christ…
You are secure!

Jesus can make you a
brand new person!
Living for HIM is an important lesson!

Come now, and know
 the peace of God today!
Meditate on his word
and what it has to say!

Just think for a moment or two…
And just tell God; “I need YOU!”

Wouldn’t it be great to give your heart to him?
And experience what it means to be born again!

Wouldn’t it be great to choose
 a new direction?
And accept God’s heart-felt invitation?

Wouldn’t it be great to know God’s
 life-changing power?
What are you waiting for?
This could be YOUR hour!

The President Invites Romney To Lunch At the White House

The President Invites Romney to Lunch

By Elton Camp

His rival to the White House he’s invited
It’s unlikely either one is really excited

There is a whole lot of public doubt
As to what the two men will talk about

But most observers have a hunch
It’ll be quite an awkward lunch

“Hello, Mitt, welcome to the White House
I’m sorry I had to call you a lying louse”

“Likewise, Mr. President I had to say
That the economy you would betray”

“Before we eat, let me give you a tour
For you’ll never live here for sure”

“I did try to make you unemployed
Out of a job that you really enjoyed”

“I know you don’t want coffee or tea,
So water & serving of crow it will be”

Jesus Invites Everyone

Jesus invites everyone to join him in heaven.
He did this through his blood stain hand.
But yet so many turn there back on him blood.
Finding there self in the wicked ways of this world.
Far from Jesus blood, but yet he still invites all.
Even the wicked ones, for his blood cover all sin.
All you need to do is to ask for the covering blood.
And forgiveness from above, Jesus will cover them all.
With his love and the blood .
